 2017 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) SHEET A-1.0:
 1A) THE DOOR SCHEDULE LIST THE TYPE OF DOOR NOT THE
 DOOR LOCATION THERE MAYBE MULTIPLE DOOR TYPES THERE ARE
 MULTIPLE DOOR TYPES A, B, & C DOORS. THE ISSUE IS THE
 DOOR THAT LEEDS FROM THE WAITING ROOM (100) INTO THE
 WORK AREA 111. ON THE LATCH SIDE OF THE DOOR THERE IS
 NOT THE REQUIRED 18 INCHES MANEUVERING CLEARANCES.
 2017 FBC- ACCESS. CODE 404.2.4 MANEUVERING CLEARANCES.
 DOORS. MINIMUM MANEUVERING CLEARANCES AT DOORS AND
 GATES SHALL COMPLY WITH 404.2.4. MANEUVERING CLEARANCES
 SHALL EXTEND THE FULL WIDTH OF THE DOORWAY AND THE
 REQUIRED LATCH SIDE FOR SIDE CLEARANCE. SEE FIGURE
 404.2.4.1(A).
  
 1B) THE REAR DOOR THAT LEADS FROM THE OFFICE TO THE
 CORRIDOR IDENTIFIED AS ( E ) ALSO IS MISSING THE
 REQUIRED 18 INCHES ON THE LATCH SIDE OF THE DOORWAY.
 2017 FBC- ACCESS. CODE 404.2.4 MANEUVERING CLEARANCES.
 DOORS. MINIMUM MANEUVERING CLEARANCES AT DOORS AND
 GATES SHALL COMPLY WITH 404.2.4. MANEUVERING CLEARANCES
 SHALL EXTEND THE FULL WIDTH OF THE DOORWAY AND THE
 REQUIRED LATCH SIDE FOR SIDE CLEARANCE. SEE FIGURE

 1C) SHEET A-1.0 SHOWS A BREAK AREA IDENTIFIED AS 110
 WHAT APPEARS TO BE A BAR SINK IN THE LEFT END OF THE
 COUNTER JUST ABUTTING THE LEFT SIDE WALL. SHEET A-2.0
 DETAIL # 2 SHOWS THE ELEVATION VIEW WITH THE SINK
 CENTERED IN THE 2 FOOT WIDE BASE CABINET THEN A
 DISHWASHER. A FORWARD APPROACH WILL NOT WORK FOR A 2
 FOOT WIDE BASE CABINET AND A SIDE APPROACH WOULD NOT
 WORK THE SINK WOULD NEED TO BE CENTERED 2 FEET FROM THE
 SIDE WALL FOR A PERSON IN A WHEELCHAIR TO BE ABLE TO
 USE THE SINK. SEE THE 2017 FBC-ACCESS. CODE SECTION
 305.5 POSITION AND FIGURE 305.5.
 606.2 CLEAR FLOOR SPACE. A CLEAR FLOOR SPACE COMPLYING
 WITH 305, POSITIONED FOR A FORWARD APPROACH, AND KNEE
 AND TOE CLEARANCE COMPLYING WITH 306 SHALL BE PROVIDED,
 SEE EXCEPTIONS ALSO, BUT SHOW THE REQUIRED CLEAR FLOOR
 SPACE ON THE FLOOR PLAN.
  
 1D) BREAK ROOM CABINETRY FOUND ON A-2.0. DETAIL # 2 THE
 BREAK ROOM CABINETRY DOES NOT HAVE A VERTICAL HEIGHT AS
 DOES DETAIL # 1, WE CAN?T ASSUME THE FINISH CABINETRY
 HEIGHT NOR THE FINISH RIM HEIGHT OF THE SINK. PLEASE
 SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH 606 LAVATORIES AND SINKS> 2017
 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 606.3 HEIGHT. LAVATORIES
 AND SINKS SHALL BE INSTALLED WITH THE FRONT OF THE
 HIGHER OF THE RIM OR COUNTER SURFACE 34 INCHES (865 MM)
 MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND.
  
 1E) THE BREAK ROOM DETAIL FOUND ON SHEET A-2.0 DETAIL #
 2 SHOWS A MICROWAVE LOCATED 0N A SHELF IN THE UPPER
 CABINETS. THE BOTTOM SIDE OF THE SHELF THE MICROWAVE IS
 SITTING ON IS APPROXIMATELY 5 FEET ABOVE THE FINISH
 FLOOR. PLEASE SHOW HOW COMPLIANCE WILL BE MET, 2017

 ONE HAND AND SHALL NOT REQUIRE TIGHT GRASPING,
 PINCHING, OR TWISTING OF THE WRIST. THE FORCE REQUIRED
 TO ACTIVATE OPERABLE PARTS SHALL BE 5 POUNDS (22.2 N)

 2) SHEET A-2-0 DETAILS 3 & 4 SHOW GLASS WINDOWS AND THE
 ONLY NOTATION IS 3/8 INCH BUTT GLAZING. PLEASE REVIEW
 IN THE 2017 FBC-B 2406 SAFETY GLAZING AND 2406.4
 HAZARDOUS LOCATIONS.
  
 3) PLEASE NOTE IF ANY OF THE ABOVE COMMENTS FOR
 ACCESSIBILITY ARE AN EXISTING CONDITION THEN THE
 ACCESSIBILITY CODE UNDER DISPROPORTIONATE COST WOULD
 ALLOW FOR THESE CONDITIONS TO BE CORRECTED. THE
 CONTRACT VALUE FOR THIS PROJECT IS $120,000.00 DOLLARS
 DISPROPORTIONATE COST WOULD ALLOW UP TO $24,000.00
 DOLLARS TO CORRECT THESE CODE ISSUES.
 DISPROPORTIONATE COST 202.4.1. PLEASE REVIEW HOW YOU
 ARE TO MEET DISPROPORTIONATE COST. EITHER THE
 CONTRACTOR OR THE DESIGNER OF RECORD ON THEIR
 LETTERHEAD NEED TO SHOW HOW THEY ARE GOING TO SPEND UP
