 1) THE SUBMITTED FLOOR PLAN, THE CONTRACTOR MUST TAKE
 OWNERSHIP OF THE PLAN.
 CERTIFICATION BY CONTRACTOR.
 2017 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATIVE CODE. 107.3.4.3
 CERTIFICATION BY CONTRACTOR. PLEASE NOTE THE EXCEPTION
 TO ENGINEERED PLANS UNDER 471.003(H) ELECTRICAL/
 PLUMBING/ MECHANICAL, 481.229(1)(C) (BUILDING) REQUIRES
 THE CONTRACTOR FOR THAT TRADE THAT WILL BE LICENSED IN
 THAT TRADE, WILL ALSO BE THE CONTRACTOR THAT DESIGNS
 THE SYSTEM UNDER THAT TRADE. THE CONTRACTOR (QUALIFIER)
 THAT CREATED / DRAWN THE SET OF PLANS WILL NEED TO
 IDENTIFY THEMSELVES AS THE AUTHOR OF THE PLANS. PLEASE
 PRINT YOUR NAME, SIGN YOUR NAME AND LICENSE NUMBER FOR
 THE TRADE YOU ARE LICENSED IN AND PLANS DRAWN. FOR EACH
 TRADE THE CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DESIGN UNDER
 THE TRADE LICENSED IN MUST PRINT THEIR NAME, SIGN THEIR
 NAME AND LICENSE NUMBER, NOTE THESE PLANS APPEAR TO BE
 DRAWN BY ONE INDUVIAL, THEY WOULD HAVE TO BE LICENSED
 AS A BUILDING, ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING CONTRACTOR TO
 SUBMIT ALL THESE TRADES UNDER ONE SHEET.
  
 2A) THE SUBMITTED FLOOR PLAN SHOWS THE MASTER BATH
 SHOWER AS PART OF THE 1 HOUR FIRE RATED PARTITION
 BETWEEN THE TWO UNITS. UNDER THE SCOPE OF WORK THE
 BACKER BOARD OF CONCRETE BOARD PLEASE PROVIDE EITHER A
 UL LISTING OR GYPSUM ASSOCIATION LISTING FOR THIS TYPE
 OF ASSEMBLY. 2017 FBC-B SECTION 708.3. FIRE PARTITIONS
 SHALL NOT HAVE A FIRE RESISTANCE RATING OF NOT LESS
 THAN 1 HOUR.
  
 2B) BOTH REQUIREMENTS NEED TO BE MET, 2A & 2B. 2017
 FBC-B 2509.2 BASE FOR TILE. MATERIALS USED AS A BASE
 FOR WALL TILE IN TUB AND SHOWER AREAS AND WALLS AND
 CEILING PANELS IN SHOWER AREAS SHALL BE OF MATERIALS
 LISTED IN TABLE 2509.2 AND INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 MANUFACTURER?S RECOMMENDATIONS. WATER RESISTANT GYPSUM
 BACKING BOARD SHALL BE USED AS A BASE FOR TILE IN WATER
 CLOSET COMPARTMENT WALLS WHEN INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH GA-216 OR ASTM C840 AND THE MANUFACTURE?S
 RECOMMENDATIONS.
  
  
 3) PLEASE SHOW ON THE FLOOR PLAN WHICH WALL WILL HAVE
 THE SHOWER VALVE AND SHOWER HEAD. AGAIN THE CONCERN IS
 IF THEY ARE IN THE FIRE RATED WALL PROTECTION AROUND
 THE OPENING IN THE 1 HOUR FIRE PARTITION. SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2017 FBC-B 708.7 PENETRATIONS.
 PENETRATIONS OF FIRE RATED WALLS SHALL COMPLY WITH
 SECTION 714.
 SEE 714.3.2 MEMBRANE PENETRATIONS.
  
 4) THE SCOPE OF WORK INDICATES THE MASTER BATHROOM
 FLOOR AND SHOWER ENCLOSURE ARE TO BE COVERED UNDER THE
 SCOPE OF WORK FOR THIS PERMIT? IS THE TUB DECK & SKIRT
 ALSO BEING REPLACE? 107.2.1.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS
 REQUIRED.
  
 5) A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW
 COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION
 MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE
 THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR
 PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED COOPERATION.
  
 A THOROUGH REVIEW OF THE PLANS COULD NOT HAPPEN SINCE
 THERE WAS A GREAT DEFICIENCY IN PLANS AND REQUIRED
 DOCUMENTATION. WITH THE NEXT PLAN REVIEW CYCLE THERE
 MAYBE ADDITIONAL REVIEW COMMENTS BECAUSE OF NEW PLANS
 AND INFORMATION LACKING UNDER THE PRIOR REVIEW.
