 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 2) SEMI-COMPLIED. THE DESIGNER HAS SHOWN WHERE A
 PORTION OF THE ACCESSIBLE SEATING WILL OCCUR, AT THE
 BAR. 46 SEATS X 0.05 = 2.3 OR 3 SEATS YOU ALWAYS ROUND
 UP THERE ARE NEVER PORTIONS OF PATRONS. THE REQUIREMENT
 OF DISPERSION WOULD REQUIRE ACCESSIBLE SEATING AT LEAST
 ONE OF THE TABLES.
  
 SHEET A2.1 SHOWS ON THE FLOOR PLAN 2 AREAS OF DROPPED
 BAR SURFACES. SHEET A601 DETAIL 5 SHOWS ON THE NEW
 PROPOSED DROP BAR COUNTER SURFACE A SUB-SURFACE 3/4
 INCH PLYWOOD AND A 1 1/2 INCH CONCRETE TOP SURFACE. THE
 PLANS ARE SILENT AS TO HOW THE WEIGHT OF THE CONCRETE
 COUNTER TOP WILLBE SUPPORTED. PLEASE REVIEW THE
 REQUIREMENTS FOR KNEE & TOE CLEARANCES SEE SECTION 306
 OF THE 2017 ACCESSIBLITY CODE.
 IT WOULD APPEAR THAT A SUPPORT POST AT THE OUTER CORNER
 OF THE DROPPED BAR WOULD NOT ALLOW FOR THE FORWARD
 APPROACH WITH 30 INCHES CLEAR?CLEAR FLOOR SPACE 30 X 48
 INCHES CLLEAR FLOOR SPACE FIGURE 305.3.
  
 1ST ROUND COMMENTS. SHEET A201 SHOWS 34 SEATS AT THE
 BAR AND 12 SEATS W/ TABLES. THE PLAN DOES NOT SHOW ANY
 ACCESSIBLE SEATING. 2017 FBC-ACC. SECTION 226.1 WHERE
 DINING SURFACES ARE PROVIDED FOR THE CONSUMPTION OF
 FOOD OR DRINK, AT LEAST 5 PERCENT OF THE SEATING SPACES
 AND STANDING SPACES AT THE DINING SURFACES SHALL COMPLY
 WITH 902.
  
 2A) DISPROPORTIONATE COST 202.4.1. PLEASE REVIEW HOW
 YOU ARE TO MEET DISPROPORTIONATE COST. EITHER THE
 CONTRACTOR OR THE DESIGNER OF RECORD ON THEIR
 LETTERHEAD NEED TO SHOW HOW THEY ARE GOING TO SPEND UP
 TO THE 20% DISPROPORTIONATE FUNDS (&55,000.00 X 0.20% =
 $11,000.00 DOLLARS) LISTED FOR EACH ELEMENT WHERE THE
 FUNDS ARE BEING SPENT AND IN THE ORDER LISTED IN
 SECTION 202.4.1 DISPROPORTIONATE COST OF THE 2017
 ACCESSIBILITY CODE.
  
 2B) 2ND REQUEST. 226.2 DISPERSION. DINING SURFACES AND
 WORK SURFACES REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH 902 SHALL BE
 DISPERSED THROUGHOUT THE SPACE OR FACILITY CONTAINING
 DINING SURFACES AND WORK SURFACES.
  
 2C)2ND REQUEST. 206.2.5 206.2.5 RESTAURANTS AND
 CAFETERIAS. IN RESTAURANTS AND CAFETERIAS, AN
 ACCESSIBLE ROUTE SHALL BE PROVIDED TO ALL DINING AREAS,
 INCLUDING RAISED OR SUNKEN DINING AREAS, AND OUTDOOR
 DINING AREAS.
  
 2D) 2ND REQUEST. 902.1 .DINING SURFACES AND WORK
 SURFACES SHALL COMPLY WITH 902.2 AND 902.3. ADVISORY
 902.1 GENERAL. DINING SURFACES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT
 LIMITED TO, BARS, TABLES, LUNCH COUNTERS, AND BOOTHS.
 EXAMPLES OF WORK SURFACES INCLUDE WRITING SURFACES,
 STUDY CARRELS, STUDENT LABORATORY STATIONS, BABY
 CHANGING AND OTHER TABLES OR FIXTURES FOR PERSONAL
 GROOMING, COUPON COUNTERS, AND WHERE COVERED BY THE ADA
 SCOPING PROVISIONS, EMPLOYEE WORK STATIONS.
  
 2D)(1)2ND REQUEST. 902.2 CLEAR FLOOR OR GROUND SPACE. A
 CLEAR FLOOR SPACE COMPLYING WITH 305 POSITIONED FOR A
 FORWARD APPROACH SHALL BE PROVIDED. KNEE AND TOE
 CLEARANCE COMPLYING WITH 306 SHALL BE PROVIDED.
  
 2D)(2) 2ND REQUEST. 902.3 HEIGHT. THE TOPS OF DINING
 SURFACES AND WORK SURFACES SHALL BE 28 INCHES MINIMUM
 AND 34 INCHES MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND.
