 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) SHEET A-1 SHOWS THE ACCESSIBLE PARKING AND ACCESS
 AISLE TO BE RESTRIPED. THE PLAN SHOWS SINGLE STRIPPING.
 2017 ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 502.2 VEHICLE SPACES.
 EACH PARKING SPACE MUST BE AT LEAST 12 FEET WIDE, SHALL
 BE MARKED TO DEFINE THE WIDTH, AND SHALL HAVE AN
 ADJACENT ACCESS AISLE COMPLYING WITH 502.3.
 ADVISORY 502.3.3MARKING THE METHOD AND MARKING OF COLOR
 OF MARKING ARE NOT SPECIFIED BY THESE REQUIREMENTS BUT

 MEANS OF EGRESS. 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION
 207.1 MEANS OF EGRESS SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION
 1003.2.13 OF THE INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE (2000
 EDITION AND 2001 SUPPLEMENT) OR SECTION 1007 OF THE
 INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE (2003 EDITION).
 2003 IBC-B 1007.1 WHERE MORE THAN ONE MEANS OF EGRESS
 IS REQUIRED BY SECTIONS 1014.1 OR 1018.1 FROM ANY
 ACCESSIBLE SPACE, EACH ACCESSIBLE PORTION OF THE SPACE
 SHALL BE SERVED BY NOT LESS THAN TWO MEANS OF EGRESS.
 THE 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE REQUIRES VERTICAL
 ACCESSIBILITY UNDER 201.1.1. PLEASE ALSO SEE ADVISORY
 SCOPING 201.1 SCOPE (GREY BOX) FLORIDA REQUIREMENTS
 MAYBE WAIVED DOWN TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE ADA
 STANDARDS. SEE THE ACCESSIBILITY CODE FOR LIMITED-
 USE-APPLICATION ELEVATORS (LULA).
  
 4) THE FIRST FLOOR SHOWS VARIOUS AREAS WHERE ACCESSIBLE
 UPGRADES ARE GOING TO BE MADE BUT THE 2ND FLOOR DOES
 NOT SHOW ANY NEW ACCESSIBLE UPGRADES.
 DISPROPORTIONATE COST. PLEASE REVIEW HOW YOU ARE TO
 MEET DISPROPORTIONATE COST. EITHER THE CONTRACTOR OR
 THE DESIGNER OF RECORD ON THEIR LETTERHEAD NEED TO SHOW
 HOW THEY ARE GOING TO SPEND THE 20% DISPROPORTIONATE
 FUNDS LISTED FOR EACH ELEMENT WHERE THE FUNDS ARE BEING
 SPENT AND IN THE ORDER LISTED IN SECTION 202.4.1
 DISPROPORTIONATE COST OF THE 2017 ACCESSIBILITY CODE.
  
 5) SHEET A-4 SHOWS VARIOUS ACCESSIBILITY DETAILS:
 5A) THE MIRROR OVER THE SINK SHOWS THE BOTTOM OF THE
 MIRROR FRAME AT 40 INCHES ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR, NOT
 THE REFLECTIVE SURFACE.
 603.3 MIRRORS. 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE. MIRRORS
 LOCATED ABOVE LAVATORIES OR COUNTERTOPS SHALL BE
 INSTALLED WITH THE BOTTOM EDGE OF THE REFLECTING
 SURFACE 40 INCHES MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR
 GROUND. MIRRORS NOT LOCATED ABOVE LAVATORIES OR
 COUNTERTOPS SHALL BE INSTALLED WITH THE BOTTOM EDGE OF
 THE REFLECTING SURFACE 35 INCHES MAXIMUM ABOVE THE
 FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND.
  
 5B) TOILET PAPER DISPENSERS. 2017 ACCESSIBILITY CODE
 SECTION 604.7. TOILET PAPER DISPENSERS SHALL COMPLY
 WITH 309.4 AND SHALL BE 7-9 INCHES MAXIMUM IN FRONT OF
 THE WATER CLOSET MEASURED TO THE CENTER LINE OF THE
 DISPENSER. THE OUTLET OF THE DISPENSER SHALL BE 15
 INCHES MINIMUM AND 48 INCHES MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH
 FLOOR AND SHALL NOT BE LOCATED BEHIND THE GRAB BARS.
  
 5C) THERE ARE NO DETAILS FOR AN ACCESSIBLE BREAK ROOM
 SINK, NOR DOES SHEET A-3 DOES NOT SHOW THE CLEAR FLOOR
 SPACE FOR THE BREAK ROOM SINK.
 SINKS. 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 606.3
 HEIGHT. LAVATORIES AND SINKS SHALL BE INSTALLED WITH
 THE FRONT OF THE HIGHER OF THE RIM OR COUNTER SURFACE
 34 INCHES (865 MM) MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR
 GROUND.
 606.2 CLEAR FLOOR SPACE. A CLEAR FLOOR SPACE COMPLYING
 WITH 305, POSITIONED FOR A FORWARD APPROACH, AND KNEE
 AND TOE CLEARANCE COMPLYING WITH 306 SHALL BE PROVIDED,
 SEE EXCEPTIONS ALSO, BUT SHOW THE REQUIRED CLEAR FLOOR
 SPACE ON THE FLOOR PLAN.
  
 6) A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW
 COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION
 MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE
 THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR
 PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED COOPERATION.
  
 A THOROUGH REVIEW OF THE PLANS COULD NOT HAPPEN SINCE
 THERE WAS A GREAT DEFICIENCY IN PLANS AND REQUIRED
 DOCUMENTATION. WITH THE NEXT PLAN REVIEW CYCLE THERE
 MAYBE ADDITIONAL REVIEW COMMENTS BECAUSE OF NEW PLANS
 AND INFORMATION LACKING UNDER THE PRIOR REVIEW.
