 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) THE PERMIT APPLICATION UNDER THE DESCRIPTION OF WORK
 INDICATES REMODELING IN THE FIRST FLOOR OCCUPANCY,
 WHEREAS THE COVERSHEET C-1 UNDER THE SCOPE OF WORK NOTE
 # 1 REMODEL OF THE 1ST FL. AND RESTROOM & NOTE 2
 INDICATES THE REMODEL OF THE 2ND FLOOR. THERE IS A
 DISCREPANCY BETWEEN THE PERMIT APPLICATION AND THE 2ND
 FLOOR. 107.2.1.2. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED,
 DISCREPANCY IN THE DESCRIPTION OF WORK TO BE
 ACCOMPLISHED UNDER THIS PERMIT.

 PROJECT DATA THE OCCUPANCY TYPE IS A-3 BUT THE OCCUPANT

 TO BE ACCOMPLISHED IN THIS SET OF PLAN DOCUMENTS, NOTES
 3, 4 & 5. THE PROJECT DATA DOES NOT INDICATE THE TYPE
 OF OCCUPANCY THE 2ND FLOOR HOUSES NOR THE PROPOSED
 OCCUPANT LOAD. SEE 2017 FBC-B SECTIONS 310.5 & TABLE

 2D) SHEET A-1 SHOWS ONLY ONE MEANS OF EGRESS TO THE 2ND

 OVERHEAD DOOR OPENING. THERE ARE NO ELEVATION DRAWINGS
 OF THIS SIDE VIEW BUT THE PLANS FAIL TO SHOW COMPLIANCE
 WITH SECTION 1027.6 EXTERIOR EXIT STAIRWAY PROTECTION.
 YOU CAN ALSO SEE THE 2015 IBC CODE COMMENTARY FIGURE
 1027.6(1) WHERE WITHIN THE VERTICAL CROSSED HATCHED
 LINES NO OPENINGS EXCEPT FOR 1 HOUR RATED DOORS AND
 OPENINGS OUTSIDE OF THE STAIR AND LANDINGS BUT WITHIN
 10 FEET OF EITHER THE STAIR OR LANDING ? HOUR OPENING
 PROTECTIVES ARE REQUIRED. THIS WAS NOT ADDRESSED UNDER

 SUPERVISING AND REVIEWING ALL PROJECT DATA, REPORTS,

 5B) 107.3.4.2 DEFERRED SUBMITTALS. FOR THE PURPOSES OF
 THIS SECTION, DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ARE DEFINED AS THOSE
 PORTIONS OF THE DESIGN THAT ARE NOT SUBMITTED AT THE
 TIME OF THE APPLICATION AND THAT ARE TO BE SUBMITTED TO
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITHIN A SPECIFIED PERIOD.
 DEFERRAL OF ANY SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL HAVE THE PRIOR
 APPROVAL OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. THE REGISTERED
 DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN RESPONSIBLE CHARGE SHALL LIST
 THE DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ON THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
 FOR REVIEW BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 DOCUMENTS FOR DEFERRED SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED TO THE REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN
 RESPONSIBLE CHARGE WHO SHALL REVIEW THEM AND FORWARD
 THEM TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITH A NOTATION
 INDICATING THAT THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE
 BEEN REVIEWED AND FOUND TO BE IN GENERAL CONFORMANCE TO
 THE DESIGN OF THE BUILDING. THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL
 ITEMS SHALL NOT BE INSTALLED UNTIL THE DEFERRED
 SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL.

 INSTALLED @ 33 INCHES A.F.F. ?CENTERLINE OF GRAB BAR.
 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 609.4 POSITION OF
 GRAB BARS. GRAB BARS SHALL BE INSTALLED IN A HORIZONTAL
 POSITION, 33 INCHES MINIMUM AND 36 INCHES MAXIMUM ABOVE
 THE FINISH FLOOR MEASURED TO THE TOP OF THE GRIPPING
 SURFACE, NOT CENTERLINE.
  
 6B) TPH TOILET PAPER HOLDER INDICATES IT IS TO BE
 MOUNTED MIN. / MAX. 36 INCHES FROM THE REAR WALL.
 2017 ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 604.7. TOILET PAPER
 DISPENSERS SHALL COMPLY WITH 309.4 AND SHALL BE 7-9
 INCHES MAXIMUM IN FRONT OF THE WATER CLOSET MEASURED TO
 THE CENTER LINE OF THE DISPENSER. THE OUTLET OF THE
 DISPENSER SHALL BE 15 INCHES MINIMUM AND 48 INCHES
 MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR AND SHALL NOT BE LOCATED
 BEHIND THE GRAB BARS.
  
 7) THE FLOOR PLAN SHOWS A SINGLE WATER FOUNTAIN. PLEASE
 SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE. 211.2
 MINIMUM NUMBER. NO FEWER THAN TWO DRINKING FOUNTAINS
 SHALL BE PROVIDED. ONE DRINKING FOUNTAIN SHALL COMPLY
 WITH 602.1 THROUGH 602.6 AND ONE DRINKING FOUNTAIN
 SHALL COMPLY WITH 602.7.
  
 8) THE 2ND FLOOR (A-1) PLAN STATES WITH NOTE 3 THAT A
 NEW DOORWAY TO THE ADDED FOR ACCESS TO THE ROOF DECK.
 THE PLANS DO NOT PROVIDE ANY STRUCTURAL SHEETS AND OR
 DETAILS HOW THIS WILL OCCUR. THE SHEET A-1 DOES NOT
 EVEN LET US KNOW IF THIS BUILDING IS CBS CONSTRUCTION
 OR WOOD FRAME. 107.2.1.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS
 REQUIRED.

 FLOOR TO THE EXIT DISCHARGE, THE BOTTOM OF THE STAIRS.

 MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE

 A THOROUGH REVIEW OF THE PLANS COULD NOT HAPPEN SINCE
 THERE WAS A GREAT DEFICIENCY IN PLANS AND REQUIRED
 DOCUMENTATION. WITH THE NEXT PLAN REVIEW CYCLE THERE
 MAYBE ADDITIONAL REVIEW COMMENTS BECAUSE OF NEW PLANS
 AND INFORMATION LACKING UNDER THE PRIOR REVIEW.
