 BE PROVIDED TO ALL DINING AREAS, INCLUDING RAISED OR
 SUNKEN DINING AREAS, BAR TOPS, HIGH TOPS AND OR OUTDOOR
 DINING AREAS.
  
 1D) 902.1 DINING SURFACES AND WORK SURFACES SHALL
 COMPLY WITH 902.2 AND 902.3. ADVISORY 902.1 GENERAL.
 DINING SURFACES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, BARS,
 TABLES, LUNCH COUNTERS, AND BOOTHS. EXAMPLES OF WORK
 SURFACES INCLUDE WRITING SURFACES, BABY CHANGING AND
 OTHER TABLES OR FIXTURES FOR PERSONAL GROOMING, COUPON
 COUNTERS, AND WHERE COVERED BY THE ADA SCOPING
 PROVISIONS.
  
 1D) - (1)CLEAR FLOOR SPACE SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR A
 PARALLEL OR FORWARD APPROACH. FORWARD APPROACHES
 REQUIRE KNEE AND TOE CLEARANCE COMPLYING WITH 306 SHALL
 BE PROVIDED OF THE 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE.
  
 1D) - (2) 902.3 HEIGHT. THE TOPS OF DINING SURFACES AND
 WORK SURFACES SHALL BE 28 INCHES MINIMUM AND 34 INCHES
 MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND, 2017
 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE.
  
 2) THE PLANS DO NOT SHOW ACCESSIBILITY COMPLIANCE WITH
 THE REQUIRED COUNTER HEIGHT FOR THE BAR/POINT OF SALE
 LOCATED IN THE STUDENT ENGAGEMENT AREA. 2017
 ACCESSIBILITY CODE. SALES & SERVICE COUNTERS. 904.4.1.
 A PORTION OF THE COUNTER SURFACE THAT IS 36 INCHES LONG
 MINIMUM AND 36 INCHES HIGH MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH
 FLOOR SHALL BE PROVIDED. A CLEAR FLOOR OR GROUND SPACE
 COMPLYING WITH 305 SHALL BE POSITIONED FOR A PARALLEL
 APPROACH ADJACENT TO THE 36 INCH MINIMUM LENGTH
 COUNTER.
  
 3) THE EXISTING BATHROOMS THAT SERVICE THE PRIMARY
 FUNCTION AREA FOR THIS PROJECT ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLY
 WITH THE 2017 FBC ACCESSIBILITY CODE UNLESS SHOWN TO BE
 A DISPROPORTIONATE COST. FBC ACCESSIBILITY 603 & 604
  
 4) THE PERMIT APPLICATION INDICATES THAT $4,700,000.00
 DOLLARS OF WORK IS TO BE ACCOMPLISHED UNDER THIS
 PERMIT. PLEASE PROVIDE A LETTER EITHER FROM THE
 CONTRACTOR OR DESIGNER OF RECORD ON THEIR LETTERHEAD
 WHERE UP TO 20 % OF THE CONTRACT VALUE IS GOING TO BE
 SPENT IN ACCESSIBLE UPGRADES TO THE PROJECT. IF ALL
 EXISTING CONDITIONS ARE COMPLETED (COMPLIED) BEFORE
 DISPROPORTIONATION COST IS MET A LETTER IS NOT
 REQUIRED. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE:
 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 202.4.1
 DISPROPORTIONATE COST. ALTERATIONS MADE TO PROVIDE AN

 TELEPHONE (TTY); (IV) COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH RELOCATING
