 FIRE MARSHAL, WITH THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 PLEASE CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING AS PROVISO:
  
 THESE PROVISO COMMENTS WILL BE VERIFIED AND CONFIRMED
 AT THE TIME OF FIRE INSPECTION. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE
 PROVISO COMMENTS WILL RESULT IN A FAILED FIRE
 INSPECTION.
  
  
 THE SUBMITTED PLANS LACK SPECIFIC DETAILS OF THIS
 OCCUPANCY THAT WILL CONFIRMED AND VERIFIED BY THE FIRE
 INSPECTOR DURING THE FIRE INSPECTION.
  
 PER THE 2015 FLORIDA FIRE PREVENTION CODE THIS IS A NEW
 RESIDENTIAL BOARD AND CARE OCCUPANCY.
  
 PATIENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO RESIDE UNTIL THE CONDITIONS
 AND REQUIRMENTS OF THE FIRE CODE ARE INSTALLED, TESTED
 AND INSPECTED.
  
  
 1) THERE ARE NO INDICATIONS OF SOKE ALARMS
  
 PER NFPA 101, CH 32, NEW RESIDENTIAL BOARD AND CARE
 OCCUPANCIES
  
 32.2.3.4.3.3 ADDITIONAL SMOKE ALARMS SHALL BE INSTALLED
 IN ALL
 LIVING AREAS, AS DEFINED IN 3.3.21.5.
 32.2.3.4.3.4 EACH SLEEPING ROOM SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH
 AN
 APPROVED SMOKE ALARM IN ACCORDANCE WITH 9.6.2.10.
  
 9.6.2.10.8* IN NEW CONSTRUCTION, WHERE TWO OR MORE
 SMOKE ALARMS
 ARE REQUIRED WITHIN A DWELLING UNIT, SUITE OF ROOMS, OR
 SIMILAR AREA,
 THEY SHALL BE ARRANGED SO THAT OPERATION OF ANY SMOKE
 ALARM SHALL
 CAUSE THE ALARM IN ALL SMOKE ALARMS WITHIN THE DWELLING
 UNIT, SUITE
 OF ROOMS, OR SIMILAR AREA TO SOUND, UNLESS OTHERWISE
 PERMITTED BY
 ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
 (1) THE REQUIREMENT OF 9.6.2.10.8 SHALL NOT APPLY WHERE
 PERMITTED BY ANOTHER SECTION OF THIS CODE.
 (2) THE REQUIREMENT OF 9.6.2.10.8 SHALL NOT APPLY TO
 CONFIGURATIONS THAT PROVIDE EQUIVALENT DISTRIBUTION OF
 THE
 ALARM SIGNAL.
 9.6.2.10.9 THE ALARMS DESCRIBED IN 9.6.2.10.8 SHALL
 SOUND ONLY
 WITHIN AN INDIVIDUAL DWELLING UNIT, SUITE OF ROOMS, OR
 SIMILAR AREA
 AND SHALL NOT ACTUATE THE BUILDING FIRE ALARM SYSTEM,
 UNLESS
 OTHERWISE PERMITTED BY THE AUTHORITY HAVING
 JURISDICTION.
 9.6.2.10.10 SMOKE ALARMS SHALL BE PERMITTED TO BE
 CONNECTED TO
 THE BUILDING FIRE ALARM SYSTEM FOR THE PURPOSE OF
 ANNUNCIATION IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH NFPA 72.
  
 PLEASE REVIEW AND ENSURE COMPLIANCE.
  
 FIRE INSPECTOR WILL CONFIRM AND VERIFY ON FIRE
 INSPECTION.
  
  
  
  
 2) THERE ARE NO INDCATIONS OF DOOR HARDWARE.
  
 32.2.2.5.3 EVERY CLOSET DOOR LATCH SHALL BE READILY
 OPENED FROM
 THE INSIDE.
 32.2.2.5.4 EVERY BATHROOM DOOR SHALL BE DESIGNED TO
 ALLOW
 OPENING FROM THE OUTSIDE DURING AN EMERGENCY WHEN
 LOCKED.
 32.2.2.5.5 NO DOOR IN ANY MEANS OF ESCAPE, OTHER THAN
 THOSE
 MEETING THE REQUIREMENT OF 32.2.2.5.5.1, 32.2.2.5.5.2,
 OR
 32.2.2.5.5.3, SHALL BE LOCKED AGAINST EGRESS WHEN THE
 BUILDING IS
 OCCUPIED
  
 PLEASE REVIEW AND ENSURE COMPLIANCE.
  
 FIRE INSPECTOR WILL CONFIRM AND VERIFY ON FIRE
 INSPECTION.
  
  
  
 3) THERE IS NO IDNCATION OF DOOR SIZE TO BEDROOMS
 WITHIN CORRIDOR/HALLWAY THE
  
 32.2.3.6 CONSTRUCTION OF CORRIDOR WALLS.
 32.2.3.6.1 CORRIDOR WALLS, OTHER THAN THOSE MEETING THE
 PROVISIONS
 OF 32.2.3.6.2, SHALL MEET ALL OF THE FOLLOWING
 REQUIREMENTS:
 (1) WALLS SEPARATING SLEEPING ROOMS SHALL HAVE A
 MINIMUM ?-
 HOUR FIRE RESISTANCE RATING. THE MINIMUM ?-HOUR FIRE
 RESISTANCE RATING SHALL BE CONSIDERED TO BE ACHIEVED IF
 THE
 PARTITIONING IS FINISHED ON BOTH SIDES WITH LATH AND
 PLASTER OR
 MATERIALS PROVIDING A 15-MINUTE THERMAL BARRIER.
 (2) SLEEPING ROOM DOORS SHALL BE SUBSTANTIAL DOORS,
 SUCH AS THOSE
 OF 1? IN. (44 MM) THICK, SOLID-BONDED WOOD-CORE
 CONSTRUCTION
 OR OF OTHER CONSTRUCTION OF EQUAL OR GREATER STABILITY
 AND FIRE
 INTEGRITY.
  
 PLEASE REVIEW AND ENSURE COMPLIANCE.
  
 FIRE INSPECTOR WILL CONFIRM AND VERIFY ON FIRE
 INSPECTION.
  
  
  
 4) THERE IS NO INDICATION OF HOW MANY RESIDENTS ARE
 PROPOSED
  
 MORE THAN 6 WILL REQUIRE A FIRE ALARM AND MAY REQUIRE A
 FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM.
  
 PER FL STATUTUE 419 COMMUNITY RESIDENTIAL HOMES
  
 (2)?HOMES OF SIX OR FEWER RESIDENTS WHICH OTHERWISE
 MEET THE DEFINITION OF A COMMUNITY RESIDENTIAL HOME
 SHALL BE DEEMED A SINGLE-FAMILY UNIT AND A
 NONCOMMERCIAL, RESIDENTIAL USE FOR THE PURPOSE OF LOCAL
 LAWS AND ORDINANCES.
  
 UNDER 6 THE OCCUPANCY IS CONSDERED A RESIDENTIAL HOME
 AND WOULD NOT REQUIRE A FIRE ALARM OF SPRINKLER, SMOKE
 ALARMS AND FIRE EXTINGUSHERS WOULD BE REQUIRED.
  
 HOWEVER, MORE THAN 6 REQUIRES A FIRE ALARM AND MAY
 REQUIRE A FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM PER NFPA 101, CH 32
 RESIDENTIAL BOARD AND CARE OCCUPANCIES
  
 32.2.3.4 DETECTION, ALARM, AND COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS.
 32.2.3.4.1 GENERAL. A MANUAL FIRE ALARM SYSTEM SHALL BE
 PROVIDED
 IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 9.6.
 32.2.3.4.2 OCCUPANT NOTIFICATION. OCCUPANT NOTIFICATION
 SHALL BE
 PROVIDED AUTOMATICALLY, WITHOUT DELAY, IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH 9.6.3.
  
 32.2.3.5* EXTINGUISHMENT REQUIREMENTS.
 32.2.3.5.1* ALL FACILITIES, OTHER THAN THOSE MEETING
 THE
 REQUIREMENT OF 32.2.3.5.2, SHALL BE PROTECTED
 THROUGHOUT BY AN
 APPROVED AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEM, INSTALLED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH
 32.2.3.5.3, USING QUICK-RESPONSE OR RESIDENTIAL
 SPRINKLERS.
 32.2.3.5.2* IN CONVERSIONS, SPRINKLERS SHALL NOT BE
 REQUIRED IN
 SMALL BOARD AND CARE HOMES SERVING EIGHT OR FEWER
 RESIDENTS WHEN
 ALL OCCUPANTS HAVE THE ABILITY AS A GROUP TO MOVE
 RELIABLY TO A
 POINT OF SAFETY WITHIN 3 MINUTES.
  
 PLEASE REVIEW, ENSURE COMPLIANCE AND PROVIDE A WRITTEN
 LETTER CONFIMRING THE NUMBER OF RESIDENTS TO THE FIRE
