2020-04-15 10:35:43THE PERMIT HAS FAILED FOR THE FOLLOWING REASON(S):
  
 1. WHEN RESUBMITTING PLEASE FOLLOW THE WINDOW PERMIT
 APPLICATION EXAMPLE THAT WAS EMAILED. ADDITIONAL
 INFORMATION IS REQUIRED THAT WAS NOT SUBMITTED IN THE
 APPLICATION. STAFF MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL COMMENTS ONCE
 THIS INFORMATION IS RECEIVED. IF YOU WOULD LIKE A
 PRELIMINARY REVIEW, PLEASE EMAIL THE MATERIALS TO THE
 HISTORIC REVIEWER.
 2. VINYL IS A PROHIBITED MATERIAL WHEN PROPOSING TO
 REPLACE ORIGINAL OR SIGNIFICANT STEEL OR ALUMINUM
 WINDOWS. REVISE TO ALUMINUM.
 3. WHITE FRAMES ARE ONLY PERMITTED WHEN WHITE FRAMES
 EXIST IN A MID-CENTURY HOME. REVISE FRAMES TO HAVE AN
 EXTERIOR ANODIZED ALUMINUM FINISH.
 4. SPECIFY THE DISTANCE (DEPTH) FROM THE FRONT OF THE
 EXTERIOR FIXED PANEL (O) TO THE FRONT OF THE OF THE
 MOVABLE PANEL (X) IN INCHES. THIS APPLIES TO HORIZONTAL
 ROLLER WINDOWS ONLY.
 5. THE REPLACEMENT WINDOWS NEED TO MATCH THE PROFILE
 AND MUNTIN PATTERN OF THE EXISTING WINDOWS. PLEASE
 REVISE.
 6. SPECIFY GLASS GLAZING. ALL STREET FACING WINDOWS
 (INCLUDING THE SIDE PORTION OF THE CORNER WINDOW) SHALL
 HAVE CLEAR GLASS ONLY. ALL OTHER WINDOWS MAY HAVE CLEAR
 GLASS OR CLEAR GLASS WITH LOW-E COATING. OBSCURED
 TEXTURE GLASS MAY BE PERMITTED FOR THE REAR BATHROOM.
 TINTED GLASS IS PROHIBITED.
  
 THE FOLLOWING ARE PROPOSED CONDITIONS. THESE CONDITIONS
 ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE:
 1. ALL WINDOWS SHALL BE SIZED TO FIT THE ORIGINAL
 WINDOW FRAME AND THE LOCATION/DEPTH/PLACEMENT WITHIN
 THE WINDOW FRAME AS THE ORIGINAL WINDOWS.
 2. ALL MULLIONS SHALL REMAIN OR BE REPLACED WITH A
 MULLION OF THE SAME WIDTH AND THE
 LOCATION/DEPTH/PLACEMENT WITHIN THE WINDOW FRAME AS THE
 ORIGINAL MULLION.
  
 STAFFF RECOMMENDS COPYING THE WINDOW PERMIT APPLICATION
 EXAMPLE AND EMAILING STAFF FOR A PRELIMINARY REVIEW..
 STAFF CAN PROVIDE ADDITIONAL GUIDENANCE.
