 THIS IS A SIGN TYPE 1A - FASCIA IDENTITY SIGN
  
 1) UPDATED COMMENT: THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN
 CRITERIA PERMIT A MAXIMUM SIGN PANEL (THE DECK CABINET)
 AND LETTER HEIGHT OF 18 INCHES FOR A FASCIA IDENTITY
 SIGN UNLESS CITYPLACE RETAIL IS GRANTED A WAIVER II
 (MINOR PLANNED DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENT). THE LETTER FROM
 CITYPLACE RETAIL DOES NOT APPROVE THE WAIVER II. A
 WAIVER II MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE PLANNING DIVISION AS
 A MINOR PLANNED DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENT. CURRENTLY, THE
 WAIVER II MAY INCREASE THE SIGNS DIMENSION BY UP TO 25
 PERCENT, SO THE SIGN PANEL (THE DECK CABINET) AND
 LETTER HEIGHT COULD BE UP TO 22.5 INCHES. SINCE THE
 PROPOSED SIGN IS 23 INCHES IN HEIGHT, THIS DIMENSION IS
 CURRENTLY NOT PERMITTED. HOWEVER, CITYPLACE RETAIL HAS
 AN AMENDMENT TO THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN
 CRITERIA SUBMITTED THAT, IF APPROVED IN SEPTEMBER,
 WOULD PERMIT THE WAIVER II TO ALLOW SIGN TYPE 1A -
 FASCIA IDENTITY SIGN TO INCREASE IN DIMENSION UP TO
 50%. YOU CAN EITHER REDUCE THE SIGN SIZE NOW AND
 CITYPLACE RETAIL APPLIES FOR A WAIVER II UNDER THE
 CURRENT REGULATIONS OR WAIT FOR THE AMENDED REGULATIONS
 TO PASS AND GET THE LARGER DIMENSION AFTER A WAIVER II
 WITH THE APPROVAL OF A FUTURE WAIVER II.
  
 2) REPEAT COMMENT: THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN
 CRITERIA REQUIRE THAT LETTER CHANNELS ARE TO BE STUD
 MOUNTED A MAXIMUM ONE (1) INCH FROM THE WALL. THE
 PROPOSED DESIGN WITH AN ALUMINUM DECK CABINET MOUNTED
 TO THE WALL AND THE CHANNEL LETTERS MOUNTED TO THE
 CABINET IS NOT PERMITTED. PLEASE REFER TO THE ROSEMARY
 SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA FOR THE REQUIREMENTS
 REGARDING THE USE OF CHANNEL LETTERS VS THE USE OF A
 PANEL DESIGN.
