 2017 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) SHEET S-0.0 UNDER THE HEADING FOUNDATIONS NOTE # 8
 STATES TO FOLLOW THE GEOTECHNICAL
 REPORT RECOMMENDATIONS AND SITE PREPARATIONS IN ALL
 ASPECTS. THERE WAS NO GEO-TECHNICAL REPORT SUBMITTED
 FOR THE NEW FOUNDATIONS, HOW TO ACHIEVE 2500 PSF
 BEARING VALUE.
  
 2017 FBC-B 1803.5.2 QUESTIONABLE SOIL. WHERE THE
 CLASSIFICATION, STRENGTH OR COMPRESSIBILITY OF THE SOIL
 IS IN DOUBT OR WHERE A LOAD-BEARING VALUE SUPERIOR TO
 THAT SPECIFIED IN THIS CODE IS CLAIMED, THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL SHALL BE PERMITTED TO REQUIRE THAT A
 GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION BE CONDUCTED.
  
 2) SHEET S-1.1 SHOWS IN THE ROOF FRAMING PLAN THE ROOF
 RAFTERS TO BE SPACED AT 16 INCHES ON CENTER WHERE AS ON
 THE SAME SHEET IN THE ROOF FRAMING NOTES, NOTE # 1 THE
 NOTE STATES THAT THE 2 X12 RAFTERS ARE TO BE SPACED AT
 24 INCHES ON CENTER. PLEASE CORRECT THE DISCREPANCY IN
 THE PLANS. THE SPAN TABLE, 2017 FBC-B TABLE 2308.7.2(2)
 WILL ALLOW THE 2X12 RAFTERS TO SPAN WITH CEILING THE
 ALLOWABLE SPAN AT 16 INCHES ON CENTER BUT NOT AT 24
 INCHES ON CENTER.
  
 3A) SHEET 10.1 ARCHITECTURAL PLAN HAS THE DOOR SCHEDULE
 AND HARDWARE SCHEDULE WHAT IS NOT SHOWN IS PANIC
 HARDWARE ON THE NEW EXIT DOORS, SLIDERS AND SWING
 DOORS. THE 2017 FBC-B SECTION 1010.1.10 IN AN ASSEMBLY
 OCCUPANCY WITH AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF 50 OR MORE. RAG TOPS
 IN THE PAST HAS HAD ASSEMBLY OCCUPANCY EVENTS IN THE
 PAST. ON THE INTERNET RAGTOPS IS ALSO ADVERTISED AS AN
 AUTOMOBILE MUSEUM ALSO CONSIDERED AN ASSEMBLY
 OCCUPANCY. THE PLANS STATE A BUSINESS OCCUPANCY. PLEASE
 CLARIFY THE USAGE FOR THIS TENANT SPACE, ON THE PLANS,
 IT WILL CLARIFY WHAT TYPE OF HARDWARE WOULD BE REQUIRED
 DEPENDING ON THE MOST RESTRICTIVE USAGE. NOA-
 18-0221.11.
  
 3B) THE SAME HOLDS TRUE FOR THE NEW SWING DOOR BEING
 ADDED. WITHIN THE SUBMITTED TECHNICAL SHEET 1-14 THE
 PRESSURES VARY DEPENDING ON THE LOCKING MECHANISM,
 PLEASE IDENTIFY WHICH LOCKING DEVICES WILL BE USED IN
 THIS INSTALLATION. THANK YOU. NOA-17-0426.02.
  
 4A) IN THIS SUBMITTAL THERE WAS NO ROOFING PRODUCT
 APPROVAL SUBMITTED. SHEET A-3.2 NOTES THE FLORIDA
 APPROVAL FL- 11819-R3. ALL OF THE MODELS OF METAL ROOF
 ARE TO BE INSTALLED OVER OPEN FRAMING, NOT OVER A
 PLYWOOD DECK. PLEASE ALSO SUBMIT THE PRODUCT APPROVAL
 FOR THE UNDERLAYMENT TO REVIEW FOR CODE COMPLIANCE.
  
 4B) W. P. B. 107.3.4.1 PRODUCT APPROVALS. THOSE
 PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY THE DCA RULE 9N-03
 SHALL BE REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR
 JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL. FL 61G1-23.015 (2) THE
 ARCHITECT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SUPERVISING AND REVIEWING
 ALL PROJECT DATA, REPORTS, SHOP DRAWINGS ETC..
  
 5) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
