 ADMINISTRATION.
  
 2017 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) SHEET 1 PALM BEACH HOUSE FLOOR PLAN OF UNIT NOT TO
 SCALE, SMALLER THAN 1/8 INCH SCALE. 2017 WEST PALM
 BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, CHAPTER
 1 ADMINISTRATIVE CODE 107.2.1.3 QUALITY OF BUILDING
 PLANS. BUILDING PLANS SHALL BE DRAWN TO A MINIMUM 1/8
 INCH SCALE UPON SUBSTANTIAL PAPER. THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL MAY ESTABLISH THROUGH DEPARTMENTAL POLICY,
 OTHER STANDARDS FOR PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, IN ORDER
 TO PROVIDE CONFORMITY TO ITS RECORD RETENTION PROGRAM.
  
 2) 107.3.4.3 CERTIFICATION BY CONTRACTOR. PLEASE NOTE
 THE EXCEPTION TO ENGINEERED PLANS UNDER 471.003(H)
 ELECTRICAL/ PLUMBING/ MECHANICAL, 481.229(1)(C)
 (BUILDING) REQUIRES THE CONTRACTOR FOR THAT TRADE THAT
 WILL BE LICENSED IN THAT TRADE, WILL ALSO BE THE
 CONTRACTOR THAT DESIGNS THE SYSTEM UNDER THAT TRADE.
 FOR EACH TRADE THE CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBLE FOR THE
 DESIGN UNDER THE TRADE LICENSED IN MUST PRINT THEIR
 NAME, SIGN THEIR NAME AND LICENSE NUMBER, NOTE THESE
 PLANS APPEAR TO BE DRAWN BY ONE INDUVIAL, THEY WOULD
 HAVE TO BE LICENSED AS A BUILDING, ELECTRICAL AND
 PLUMBING CONTRACTOR TO SUBMIT ALL THESE TRADES UNDER
 ONE SHEET.
  
 3) 107.2.1.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED. THE
 PERMIT APPLICATION UNDER THE DESCRIPTION OF WORK
 INDICATES INSTALL TILE, DRYWALL, PART. PLEASE PROVIDE A
 BETTER DESCRIPTION OF WORK. SHEET 2 OF 3 IT WOULD
 APPEAR THERE IS STILL A TUB IN THE BATHROOM BUT SHEET 3
 OF 3 IT WOULD APPEAR THE TUB HAS BEEN REMOVED AND A NEW
 SHOWER, (5 INCH CURB) IS BEING PROPOSED.
  
 4) FOR NEW SUB-SURFACES/ BASE FOR TILE MUST SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH 2509.2 OF THE 2017 FBC-B:
 GLASS MAT GYPSUM BACKING PANEL ASTM C1178
 NONASBESTOS FIBER-CEMENT BACKER BOARD ASTM C1288 OR ISO
 8336 CATEGORY C
 NONASBESTOS FIBER-MAT REINFORCED CEMENTITIOUS BACKER
 UNIT ASTM C1325
  
 5) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
 COOPERATION.
  
 A THOROUGH REVIEW OF THE PLANS COULD NOT HAPPEN SINCE
 THERE WAS A GREAT DEFICIENCY IN PLANS AND REQUIRED
 DOCUMENTATION. WITH THE NEXT PLAN REVIEW CYCLE THERE
 MAYBE ADDITIONAL REVIEW COMMENTS BECAUSE OF NEW PLANS
 AND INFORMATION LACKING UNDER THE PRIOR REVIEW.
