 PROVIDE WRITTEN RESPONSES TO COMMENTS.
  
 1) THIS SIGN IS BEING CLASSIFIED AS SIGN #1 FOR H&M.
 NOTE: THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA ONLY
 PERMIT ONE ARCADE IDENTITY SIGN PER FRONTAGE.
  
 2) HE PROPOSED SIGN DOES NOT MATCH ONE OF THE ARCADE
 IDENTITY SIGN TYPES INCLUDED IN THE ROSEMARY SQUARE
 TENANT SIGN CRITERIA. THE PERMISSIBLE MOUNTING OPTIONS
 THAT ARE SIMILAR TO THE PROPOSED SIGN ARE SUSPENDED
 LETTERS ON A RACEWAY (WHICH WOULD BE THE FRONT OF THE
 SUPPORT FRAME, WITH NO BACK PANEL) OR TENANT NAME
 MOUNTED TO A SUSPENDED PANEL (WHICH WOULD REQUIRE THE
 SUPPORT FRAME TO CONNECT TO THE TOP OF THE BACK PANEL).
  
 3) H&M CURRENTLY HAS 6 WALL MOUNTED SIGNS. PROVIDE THE
 DEMOLITION PERMIT FOR THESE 6 SIGNS AS THEY ARE NOT
 PERMITTED TO REMAIN ONCE THE SIGN(S) COMPLYING WITH THE
 NEW ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA ARE INSTALLED.
  
 4) THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS DEAL WITH SPECIFIC DESIGN
 ELEMENTS; HOWEVER THEY MAY CHANGE BASED ON ADDRESSING
 COMMENT #2 ABOVE.
  
 5) THE EAST ELEVATION SHEET LISTS THE DISTANCE OF THE
 SIGN ABOVE GRADE AS 10 FEET; HOWEVER THE SIGN DETAILS
 LIST THE SIGNS AS BEING 9.5 FEET ABOVE GRADE. ALL PLANS
 NEED TO SHOW THE SAME CONDITIONS. NOTE: 9 FEET IS THE
 MINIMUM REQUIRED CLEARANCE, SO EITHER HEIGHT MEETS THE
 ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA.
  
 6) THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA LIMIT THE
 MAXIMUM HEIGHT OF ARCADE SIGNS AT 12 FEET FROM THE
 FINISHED FLOOR. THE "ELEVATION TYPICAL" SHEET NEEDS TO
 INCLUDE THE DIMENSION TO THE TOP OF THE BACK PLATE TO
 VERIFY THAT IT DOES NOT EXCEED THE 12 FOOT HEIGHT
 LIMIT.
  
 7) THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA REQUIRE THE
 BACK PLATE TO BE COUNTED WITHIN THE SIGN SQUARE
 FOOTAGE. BASED ON THE DIMENSIONS PROVIDED, THE SIGN IS
 4.74 SF IN AREA.
  
 8) THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA REQUIRE
 THAT THE SIGN COPY AREA SHALL MAINTAIN A MARGIN AT
 LEAST SIX INCHES FROM ANY EDGE OF THE PERCEIVED SIGN
 AREA. THE FRAME ELEMENTS THAT HANG THE SIGN TO THE ARCH
 ARE THE PERCEIVED SIGN AREA. PROVIDE VERIFICATION
 DIMENSIONS TO SHOW THAT THE FURTHEST PROJECTION OF THE
 SIGN (WHICH INCLUDES THE BACK PLATE) IS A MINIMUM OF 6
 INCHES FROM THE SUPPORT TUBES.
  
 9) THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA REQUIRE
 THAT THE LOCATION OF ALL OPENINGS FOR CONDUIT SLEEVES
 AND SUPPORT IN SIGN PANELS AND BUILDING WALLS BE
 INDICATED BY THE SIGN CONTRACTOR IN THE SHOP DRAWINGS.
 STAFF NEEDS TO SEE THESE AS PART OF THE PERMIT TO
 VERIFY THAT THE SIGN'S ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS ARE NOT
 VISIBLE TO THE PUBLIC.
