 1) THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA PERMIT C.1
 PAINTED SIGN PANELS AND C.2 SIGNAGE ON THE FRONT AND
 BACK OF A SUSPENDED PANEL ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS.
 APPROVAL OF CASE BY CASE SIGN OPTIONS MAY BE APPROVED
 BY CITYPLACE RETAIL AS A WAIVER I. PLEASE PROVIDE AN
 UPDATED WAIVER I APPROVAL LETTER (OR ADDITIONAL LETTER)
 THAT APPROVES THE TWO REQUESTED WAIVERS I.
  
 2) THE ROSEMARY SQUARE SIGN PLAN MEASURES SIGNAGE
 ALLOWANCE AS FOLLOWS - ONE SQUARE FOOT OF SIGNAGE FOR
 EACH ONE LINEAR FOOT OF STORE FRONTAGE BASED ON THE
 LEASE LINE DRAWING PROVIDED WITH THE RESUBMITTAL. THE
 TOTAL AMOUNT OF SIGNAGE PERMITTED ON THIS FACADE IS
 97.5 SQUARE FEET. CITY CELLAR HAS EXISTING SIGNAGE ON
 THE FACADE OF THE BUILDING AND THE AWNING VALANCES
 WHICH COUNT TOWARD THE MAXIMUM PERMITTED SIGN SQUARE
 FOOTAGE. PLEASE CLARIFY IF THE SIGNAGE WILL REMAIN
 AFTER THE INSTALLATION OF THE PROPOSED ARCADE IDENTITY
 SIGN.
  
 A. THE CITY CELLAR FAADE SIGN IS 49.5 SQUARE FEET
 (BASED ON APPROVED PERMIT). IF THE FASCIA SIGN WILL
 REMAIN, THEN ITS SQUARE FOOTAGE WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM
 THE PERMITTED SIGNAGE AMOUNT.
  
 B. STAFF WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE THE SQUARE FOOTAGE OF THE
 SIGNAGE ON THE THREE AWNINGS. IF THE AWNING SIGNS ARE
 TO REMAIN, THEN YOU MUST PROVIDE THE TOTAL SQUARE
 FOOTAGE OF THESE THREE AWNING SIGNS AND IT WILL BE
 DEDUCTED FROM THE PERMITTED SIGNAGE AMOUNT.
  
 C. BARRIO SANGRIA HAS A PERMITTED 16.8 SQUARE FOOT SIGN
 WHICH HAS NOT YET BEEN INSTALLED. SINCE THE SIGN FALLS
 WITHIN THE STORE FRONTAGE, IT IS COUNTED TOWARD THE
 TOTAL PERMITTED SIGNAGE
  
 D. THE TABLE BELOW PROVIDES THE SIGNAGE PERMITTED AND
 THE AMOUNT OF SIGNAGE THAT STAFF CAN ACCOUNT FOR. IF NO
 SIGNAGE IS TO BE REMOVED, THEN IF THE AWNING SIGNAGE
 EXCEEDS 8.2 SQUARE FEET, THE PROPOSED ARCADE IDENTITY
 SIGN WILL NEED TO BE REDUCED IN SIZE.

 FOOTAGE 89.3 SF
  
 3) REPEAT COMMENT: THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN
 CRITERIA REQUIRE ALL LIGHTING CONDUIT, WIRING, BALLAST
 BOXES, TRANSFORMERS, AND OTHER EQUIPMENT NECESSARY FOR
 SIGN CONNECTION SHALL BE CONCEALED AND NOT VISIBLE TO
 THE PUBLIC. THE PROPOSED SIGN LIGHTING HAS AN EXPOSED
 BELL BOX WITH DISCONNECT SWITCH AND ELECTRICAL LEAD
 WITHIN FLEXIBLE CONDUIT, WHICH IS NOT PERMITTED.
 ADDITIONALLY, NO INFORMATION IS PROVIDED AS TO HOW THE
 ELECTRIC SERVICE IS PROVIDED TO THE BELL BOX. YOU ARE
 SHOWING THE LIGHTING AS PART OF THIS PERMIT, SO IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN
 CRITERIA YOU NEED TO PROVIDE THE INFORMATION ON HOW THE
 CONCEALMENT REQUIREMENT IS MET. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO
 DESIGN A SIGN WITH THE WIRING STUBBED OUT THAT THEN
 REQUIRES NON-COMPLIANCE WITH THE CONCEALMENT
 REQUIREMENT. IN THIS SPECIFIC CASE YOU MAY NOT REMOVE
 THE ITEMS WHICH DID NOT COMPLY WITH THE ROSEMARY SQUARE
 TENANT SIGN CRITERIA AND SIMPLY STATE IT WILL BE
 PROVIDED WITH OTHERS. YOU NEED TO COORDINATE WITH THE
 "OTHERS" WHO ARE PROVIDING THE ELECTRICAL PRIMARY AND
 PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION ON THE PLANS TO VERIFY THAT
 THE CONCEALMENT REQUIREMENTS ARE MET.
  
 4) REPEAT COMMENT: THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN
 CRITERIA REQUIRE THAT RIVETS, SCREWS AND OTHER
 FASTENERS THAT EXTEND TO VISIBLE SURFACES SHALL BE
 FLUSH, FILLED AND FINISHED SO AS TO BE UNNOTICEABLE.
 THE BOLT HEADS, BOLT ENDS AND NUTS THAT EXTEND PAST THE
 MOUNTING HARDWARE DO NOT MEET THIS STANDARD. IF THE
 BOLT HEADS MUST EXTEND PAST THE MOUNTING HARDWARE, THEY
 NEED TO BE CONCEALED BY CAPS MATCHING THE COLOR OF THE
 MOUNTING HARDWARE.
  
 5) REPEAT COMMENT: THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN
 CRITERIA ALLOW A MAXIMUM HEIGHT FOR ARCADE IDENTITY
 SIGNS OF 12 FEET FROM THE FINISHED FLOOR. THE SIGN
 EXCEEDS THE 12 FOOT HEIGHT ALLOWANCE. 9 FEET + 4 FEET 8
 INCHES = 13 FEET 8 INCHES.
