 PROVIDE WRITTEN RESPONSES TO COMMENTS. NOTE: ADDITIONAL
 COMMENTS MAY BE ISSUED WHEN THE INFORMATION TO ADDRESS
 THE COMMENTS BELOW IS PROVIDED.
  
 1) UPDATED COMMENT: THE CURRENT ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT
 SIGN CRITERIA STOREFRONT TYPE 2 REQUIRES THAT THE
 ARCADE IDENTITY SIGN IS CENTERED ON THE FACADE IN FRONT
 OF THE TENANT'S ENTRY. THE PROPOSED SIGN IS NOT LOCATED
 CENTERED ON THE CITY CELLAR FACADE AND NOT IN FRONT OF
 THE CITY CELLAR ENTRY. NOTE: THE CITY IS PROCESSING AN
 AMENDMENT TO THE SIGN CRITERIA THAT WOULD PERMIT
 CITYPLACE RETAIL, LLC, TO GRANT A WAIVER I (WRITTEN
 APPROVAL) TO PERMIT THE SIGN TO NOT BE CENTERED ON THE
 ENTRY; HOWEVER, UNTIL SUCH TIME THAT THE CHANGE IS
 APPROVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION (PUBLIC HEARING IN
 SEPTEMBER) ZONING CANNOT REVIEW FOR COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 NEW REQUIREMENTS.
  
 2) REPEAT COMMENT: THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN
 CRITERIA REQUIRE THAT SIGNS ARE MOUNTED WITHIN THE
 LEASE LINES. PROVIDE VERIFICATION THAT THIS LOCATION IS
 WITHIN THE LEASE LINES.
  
 3) UPDATED COMMENT: THE PROPOSED SIGN DESIGN DOES NOT
 MATCH THE CURRENTLY PERMITTED ARCADE IDENTITY SIGN
 OPTION C - TENANT NAME MOUNTED TO A SUSPENDED PANEL
 THAT IS DESCRIBED IN THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN
 CRITERIA. THE CURRENT REGULATIONS DO NOT PERMIT THE
 PAINTING OF LETTERS ON A SUSPENDED PANEL. NOTE: THE
 CITY IS PROCESSING AN AMENDMENT TO THE SIGN CRITERIA
 THAT WOULD PERMIT PAINTED LETTERS; HOWEVER, UNTIL SUCH
 TIME THAT THE CHANGE IS APPROVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
 (PUBLIC HEARING IN SEPTEMBER) ZONING CANNOT REVIEW FOR
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE NEW REQUIREMENTS.
  
 4) THE CURRENT ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA
 REQUIRE THAT COPY AREA BE AT LEAST 6 INCHES FROM ANY
 EDGE OF THE PERCEIVED SIGN AREA. PROVIDE VERIFICATION
 ON THE PLAN. NOTE: THE CITY IS PROCESSING AN AMENDMENT
 TO THE SIGN CRITERIA THAT WOULD PERMIT THE COPY AREA TO
 BE ONLY 3 INCHES FROM THE PERCEIVED SIGN AREA; HOWEVER,
 UNTIL SUCH TIME THAT THE CHANGE IS APPROVED BY THE CITY
 COMMISSION (PUBLIC HEARING IN SEPTEMBER) ZONING CANNOT
 REVIEW FOR COMPLIANCE WITH THE NEW REQUIREMENTS.
  
 5) REPEAT COMMENT: THE FULL DIMENSION OF THE SIGN IS
 NOT PROVIDED ON THE PLANS. IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
 ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA REQUIRES THAT THE
 SIGN AREA IS CALCULATED USING THE MAXIMUM EXTENT OF THE
 SIGN. FOR THIS PARTICULAR SIGN IT IS THE DISTANCE FROM
 THE LOWEST POINT OF THE BOTTOM FAUX RUSTIC THRU BOLT
 MOUNTING HARDWARE TO THE EQUAL DISTANCE ON THE TOP AND
 SIDE HARDWARE ATTACHMENTS.
  
 6) REPEAT COMMENT: THE ROSEMARY SQUARE SIGN PLAN
 MEASURES SIGNAGE ALLOWANCE AS FOLLOWS - ONE SQUARE FOOT
 OF SIGNAGE FOR EACH ONE LINEAR FOOT OF STORE FRONTAGE.
 PLEASE PROVIDE THE LINEAR FEET OF STORE FRONTAGE.
  
 7) REPEAT COMMENT: CITY CELLAR HAS EXISTING SIGNAGE ON
 THE FACADE OF THE BUILDING. THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT
 SIGN CRITERIA PERMIT ONLY ONE PRIMARY IDENTITY SIGN PER
 STOREFRONT. IF CITYPLACE RETAIL GRANTS A WAIVER AND
 PERMITS MORE THAN ONE SIGN AND THE EXISTING SIGNAGE IS
 TO REMAIN THEN THE SQUARE FOOTAGE OF THE EXISTING
 SIGNAGE (AND AN ELEVATION DRAWING SHOWING THE SIGNAGE)
 IS TO BE PROVIDED AND SUBTRACTED FROM THE SIGNAGE
 ALLOWANCE. IF THE EXISTING SIGNAGE IS TO BE REMOVED
 THEN THAT NEEDS TO BE CLARIFIED WITH THE RESUBMITTAL.
  
 8) REPEAT COMMENT: THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN
 CRITERIA PERMIT A MAXIMUM LETTER HEIGHT OF 18 INCHES
 FOR AN ARCADE IDENTITY SIGN. PROVIDE THE HEIGHT OF THE
 LETTERS ON THE PLANS.
  
 9) REPEAT COMMENT: THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN
 CRITERIA REQUIRE THAT ARCADE IDENTITY SIGNS HAVE A
 MINIMUM CLEARANCE OF NINE (9) FEET FROM FINISHED FLOOR.
 THE DRAWINGS SHOW THAT THE SIGN DOES NOT MEET THIS
 MINIMUM CLEARANCE (ONLY 8 FEET 9 INCHES).
  
 10) REPEAT COMMENT: THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN
 CRITERIA REQUIRE ALL LIGHTING CONDUIT, WIRING, BALLAST
 BOXES, TRANSFORMERS, AND OTHER EQUIPMENT NECESSARY FOR
 SIGN CONNECTION SHALL BE CONCEALED AND NOT VISIBLE TO
 THE PUBLIC. THE PROPOSED SIGN LIGHTING HAS AN EXPOSED
 BELL BOX WITH DISCONNECT SWITCH AND ELECTRICAL LEAD
 WITHIN FLEXIBLE CONDUIT, WHICH IS NOT PERMITTED.
 ADDITIONALLY, NO INFORMATION IS PROVIDED AS TO HOW THE
 ELECTRIC SERVICE IS PROVIDED TO THE BELL BOX.
  
 11) REPEAT COMMENT: THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN
 CRITERIA REQUIRE THAT RIVETS, SCREWS AND OTHER
 FASTENERS THAT EXTEND TO VISIBLE SURFACES SHALL BE
 FLUSH, FILLED AND FINISHED SO AS TO BE UNNOTICEABLE.
 THE BOLT HEADS, BOLT ENDS AND NUTS THAT EXTEND PAST THE
 MOUNTING HARDWARE DO NOT MEET THIS STANDARD. IF THE
 BOLT HEADS MUST EXTEND PAST THE MOUNTING HARDWARE, THEY
 NEED TO BE CONCEALED BY CAPS MATCHING THE COLOR OF THE
 MOUNTING HARDWARE.
  
 12) REPEAT COMMENT: THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN
 CRITERIA REQUIRE THAT ALL BOLTS, FASTENINGS AND CLIPS
 CONSIST OF ENAMELING IRON WITH PORCELAIN ENAMEL FINISH;
 STAINLESS STEEL, ANODIZED ALUMINUM, BRASS OR BRONZE; OR
 CARBON-BEARING STEEL WITH PAINTED FINISH. PROVIDE
 VERIFICATION ON THE PLANS.
  
 13) THE CURRENT ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA DO
 NOT PERMIT EXTERNALLY ILLUMINATED ARCADE IDENTITY
 SIGNS. NOTE: THE CITY IS PROCESSING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
 SIGN CRITERIA THAT WOULD PERMIT EXTERNAL LIGHTING (BY
 WRITTEN APPROVAL FROM CITYPLACE RETAIL, LLC) FOR
 PAINTED SUSPENDED PANEL SIGNS; HOWEVER, UNTIL SUCH TIME
 THAT THE CHANGE IS APPROVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
 (PUBLIC HEARING IN SEPTEMBER) ZONING CANNOT REVIEW FOR
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE NEW REQUIREMENTS.
  
 14) THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA ALLOW A
 MAXIMUM HEIGHT FOR ARCADE IDENTITY SIGNS OF 12 FEET
 FROM THE FINISHED FLOOR. WHILE THE DIMENSION HAS NOT
 BEEN PROVIDED, STAFF HAS ADDED THE DIMENSIONS THAT ARE
 PROVIDED AND THE SIGN EXCEEDS THE 12 FOOT HEIGHT
 ALLOWANCE.
