 1) THE PERMIT APPLICATION INDICATES THE LOCATION OF THE
 PROJECT IS 7310 GEORGIA AVE., SUITE # 11. THE PLANS
 STATE THE JOBSITE LOCATION AS 7310 GEORGIA AVE. THE
 SUITE NUMBER IS NOT GIVEN. PALM BEACH COUNTY GEO NAV &
 GOOGLE MAPS INDICATE THERE IS ONLY (4) SUITES WITHIN
 THIS BUILDING. PLEASE IDENTIFY WHICH SUITE THE WORK TO
 BE COVERED UNDER THIS PERMIT IS LOCATED.
 2017 FBC-B 501.2 ADDRESS IDENTIFICATION. NEW AND
 EXISTING BUILDINGS SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH APPROVED
 ADDRESS IDENTIFICATION.

 2A) UNDER THE HEADING OF OCCUPANCY TYPE THE OCCUPANCY
 LISTED IS A-2 FOR RESTAURANTS, BANQUET HALLS,
 CAFETERIAS AND OR TAVERNS AND BARS OR SIMILAR INTENDED
 USES FOR THE CONSUMPTION OF FOOD OR DRINK. THIS
 ESTABLISHMENT DOES NOT FIT THOSE DESCRIPTIONS. THE
 COVERSHEET LIST THE SQUARE FEET OF THIS TENANT SPACE AS
 1,295 SQUARE FEET. WITH THE USE AND SQUARE FOOTAGE THE
 MAIN OCCUPANCY IS BUSINESS. FOOD PROCESSING
 ESTABLISHMENTS AND COMMERCIAL KITCHENS NOT ASSOCIATED
 WITH RESTAURANTS, CAFETERIAS AND SIMILAR DINING
 FACILITIES NOT MORE THAN 2,500 SQUARE FEET IN AREA.
 PLEASE REVIEW THE 2017 FBC-B SECTION 304.1.
 THERE IS ALSO AN ENCLOSED PARKING SPACE OF 230 SQUARE
 FEET OVER 10% OF THE TENANT SPACE WHICH APPEARS THIS
 OCCUPANCY TO BE S-2 A MIXED OCCUPANCY BETWEEN BUSINESS
 AND ENCLOSED PARKING (S-2 OCCUPANCY).
  
 2B) UNTIL THE TENANT SPACE IS KNOWN, THE LAST KNOWN USE
 (BUSINESS TAX/ OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE) WE CANNOT
 DETERMINE IF THIS IS A LEVEL II ALTERATION OR A CHANGE
 OF OCCUPANCY WHICH WOULD HAVE TO COMPLY WITH THE 2017
 EXISTING BUILDING CODE SECTION 1001.2.2.1 PARTIAL
 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY. WHERE THE OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION
 OR GROUP OF A PORTION OF AN EXISTING BUILDING IS
 CHANGED, SECTION 1012 SHALL APPLY.
  
 2C) THE COVERSHEET INDICATE THE BUILDING TYPE TO BE
 III-B. SHEET 1.0A INDICATES A WINDOW IS TO BE FILED IN
 ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE BUILDING, THE PROPERTY LINE
 WHICH IS LESS THAN 5 FEET AWAY REQUIRES THIS WALL TO BE
 1HOUR RATED BY TABLE 602 FOR BUSINESS AND S-2
 OCCUPANCIES 2017 FBC-B. PLEASE ALSO REFER TO SECTION
 602.3 & 2302 FIRE RETARDANT TREATED WOOD CAN BE USED
 WITHIN EXTERIOR WALL ASSEMBLIES OF A 2 HOUR RATING OR
 LESS. PLANS CALL OUT FOR 5/8 CDX PLYWOOD IN THE INFILL,
 PLEASE CORRECT THE PLANS.
  
 2D) THE LOCATION OF THIS TENANT SPACE IS UNKNOWN AT
 THIS TIME IN REGARDS TO THE OTHER TENANT OCCUPANCIES,
 BUT ALSO ON BOTH SIDES OF THIS BUILDING THE NEIGHBORING
 BUILDINGS HAVE ZERO LOT LINES BETWEEN BUILDINGS. THE
 COVERSHEET NOR SHEET 1.1A THE LIFE SAFETY SHEET
 INDICATE OCCUPANCY SEPARATION WITHIN THE TENANT SPACE
 OR THE NEIGHBORING TENANTS ON EACH SIDE OF THIS TENANT
 SPACE. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH TABLE 508.4 REQUIRED
 SEPARATION OF OCCUPANCIES, SEE FOOTNOTE B FOR THE S-2
 OCCUPANCY.
  
 3) SHEET 1.1A:
 3A) PLEASE REVIEW THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN FOR EGRESS
 PURPOSES, THERE IS ONLY ONE MEANS OF EGRESS FROM THE
 KITCHEN WHICH TAKES YOU THROUGH A STORAGE ROOM AND A
 MORE DANGEROUS OCCUPANCY S2 ENCLOSED GARAGE BEFORE
 ENTERING THE BUSINESS OCCUPANCY. PLEASE REVIEW SECTION
 1016.2.5 OF THE 2017 FBC-B. EGRESS SHALL NOT PASS
 THROUGH KITCHENS, STORAGE ROOMS, CLOSETS OR SPACES USED
 FOR SIMILAR PURPOSES. SINCE YOU START IN THE KITCHEN IN
 THIS CASE A BUSINESS OCCUPANCY AND HAVE TO GO THROUGH A
 STORAGE ROOM, WHICH IS NOT PERMITTED, THEN INTO AN S-2
 OCCUPANCY REQUIRING 2 HOUR SEPARATION FOR
 NON-SPRINKLERED BUILDINGS, A MORE DANGEROUS OCCUPANCY.
  
 3B) THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN DOES NOT SHOW THE VAN IN THE
 PARKING GARAGE NOR DOES THE PLAN SHOW THAT DEPENDING ON
 THE TYPE OF VEHICLE AND LOCATION OF THE VEHICLE NEITHER
 THE DOUBLE SWING DOORS FROM THE KITCHEN NOR THE OFFICE
 DOOR CAN BE FULLY OPENED FOR EGRESS PURPOSE. PLEASE SEE
 SECTION 1010.1.1.1 PROJECTIONS INTO CLEAR WIDTH. OF THE
 2017 FBC-B. 1001.2 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS. 2017 FBC-B IT
 SHALL BE UNLAWFUL TO ALTER A BUILDING OR STRUCTURE IN A
 MANNER THAT WILL REDUCE THE NUMBER OF EXITS OR THE
 MINIMUM WIDTH OR REQUIRED CAPACITY OF THE MEANS OF
 EGRESS TO LESS THAN REQUIRED BY THIS CODE.
  
 3C) PLEASE REVISE THE PLANS FOR A CONTINUOUS MEANS OF
 EGRESS AND IF THERE ARE STILL WALLS THAT ARE RATED THEN
 THE DOORS WILL NEED TO MEET THE REQUIREMENT OF OPENING
 PROTECTIVES IN 716.5 OF THE 2017 FBC-B.
  
 4) IT WOULD APPEAR FROM THE MECHANICAL SHEET THERE IS
 AN EXISTING AIR HANDLER AND ROOF TOP CONDENSER. THERE
 WILL BE THE REQUIREMENTS TO CUT THROUGH THE ROOF DECK
 AND FRAME OUT AROUND THE NEW OPENING AS WELL AS ROOF
 TOP CURBS FOR THE INTAKE & EXHAUST FOR THE NEW HOOD
 SYSTEM. THESE ITEMS ARE NOT SHOWN NOR IS THE WIND
 DESIGN CRITERIA FOR THE NEW COMPONENTS AND CLADDING FOR
 THE ROOF. IT IS ALSO NOT KNOWN IF THE NEW COOLER/
 FREEZER ARE GOING TO HAVE THEIR COMPRESSOR ON THE ROOF
 AS WELL. THESE ELEMENTS, HOOD & COOLER REQUIRE SEPARATE
 PERMITS AND REVIEW AND ASSOCIATED FEES. PLEASE SUPPLY
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IF THE ROOF TOP PENETRATIONS AND
 CURBS ARE GOING TO BE PART OF THIS PERMIT. 107.2.1.2
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED TO DETERMINE CODE
 COMPLIANCE.
  
 5) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
 COOPERATION.
  
 A THOROUGH REVIEW OF THE PLANS COULD NOT HAPPEN SINCE
 THERE WAS A GREAT DEFICIENCY IN PLANS AND REQUIRED
 DOCUMENTATION. WITH THE NEXT PLAN REVIEW CYCLE THERE
 MAYBE ADDITIONAL REVIEW COMMENTS BECAUSE OF NEW PLANS
 AND INFORMATION LACKING UNDER THE PRIOR REVIEW.
