 PLAN REVIEW RESULTS: DENIED.
  
 1) SHEET M0.2 & M0.3: THE AC CALCULATIONS ARE
 INDICATING THE SPACES REQUIRE 389.0 MBH COOLING, 40 KW
 HEATING, AND 8207 CFMS OF COOLING AIRFLOW. THE AHU AND
 VAV SCHEDULES INDICATE THE COOLING, HEATING, AND
 AIRFLOW CAPACITIES ARE DEFICIENT- 315.0 MBH, 27.3 KW,
 AND 7800 CFMS. PLEASE PROVIDE AN EXPLANATION FOR THE
 DEFICIENCIES- SECTION 312.1 FBC M, AND SECTION C403.2.1
 FBC EC.
  
 2) M0.2: I HAVE REVIEWED THE LETTER CONCERNING THE
 PROPOSED REDUCTION IN OUTDOOR VENTILATION AIR BASED ON
 USING THE CALCULATED EGRESS LOAD OF THE AUDITORIUM
 VERSUS THE CALULATED LOAD AS REQUIRED PER TABLE
 403.3.1.1 FBC M, AND IN THE PROCESS NOTICED A
 DEFICIENCY IN THE LOBBY WHICH IS BEING CALCULATED AS AN
 OFFICE LOBBY RATHER THAN AN AUDITORIUM OR THEATRE LOBBY
 PER TABLE 403.3.1.1. PLEASE CORRECT THE CALCULATIONS
 ACCORDINGLY.
 CONCERNING THE LETTER, WHAT EVIDENCE IS BEING PROVIDED
 TO SUPPORT THE STATEMENT THAT THE REDUCTION OF
 VENTILATION AIR REQUIRED FOR 526 OCCUPANTS DOWN TO THE
 REQUIREMENT FOR 256 OCCUPANTS "WOULD SATISFY THE INTENT
 OF THE CODE FOR THE HEALTH AND COMFORT OF EACH OCCUPANT
 WHILE BEING MINDFUL OF ENERGY CONSERVATION".
 CONSIDERING THAT THE THE VENTILATION TABLES IN THE FBC
 M ARE BASED ON THE TABLES IN ASHRAE 62.1, AND YOUR
 ENERGY CALCULATIONS ARE USING A METHOD FROM ASHRAE
 90.1, WOULD THERE BE ANY ALTERNATE VENTILATION METHOD
 IN THOSE STANDARDS, OR SOME OTHER ACCEPTABLE STANDARDS
 THAT WOULD SUPPORT THIS STATEMENT? THE 1ST REVIEW
 COMMENT #8 PRINTED BELOW WILL STILL APPLY AT THIS TIME.
  
 3) M1: PLEASE SHOW THE LOCATIONS OF THE THERMOSTATS FOR
 THE LOBBY, THE STAGE AREA AND TB-1 & 5- SECTION
 C403.2.4.1 FBC EC.
  
 4) M1: SHOW THE LOCATIONS OF THE CO2 SENSORS- SECTION
 107.2.1 WPB. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SENSORS SHALL BE
 INSTALLED PER MANUFACTURER'S SPECS. THE SPECS CAN BE
 SUBMITTED PRIOR TO PERMIT ISSUANCE OR DEFERRED.
  
 5) M1 & A2: PLEASE INDICATE THE HEIGHT OF THE TB ACCESS
 PANELS FROM THE FINISH FLOOR- SEE SECTION 306.5 FBC M.
  
 COMMENTS #8 & 9 FROM THE 1ST REVIEW WILL REMAIN AT THIS
 TIME PENDING MORE INFORMATION. PLEASE NOTE THE
 ENGINEERING FOR THE CHILLER MAY BE A DEFFERED
 SUBMITTAL.
  
 8) M2: THE VENTILATION CALCULATIONS FOR AUDITORIUM ARE
 INCORRECT. TABLE 403.3.1.1 FBC M REQUIRES 150 PERSONS
 PER 1000 SF.
  
 9) PROVIDE ENGINEERING FOR INSTALLATION OF THE CHILLER-
 SECTION 301.15 FBC M.
  
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A RESPONSE
 LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE CITY
 RE-SUBMITTAL FORM.
