 TO ANY REMODEL OR NEW CONSTRUCTION PROJECT FOR WHICH
 THE PERMIT APPLICATION WAS SUBMITTED AFTER 6/29/14, AND
 THE TOTAL PROJECT CONSTRUCTION COSTS ARE EQUAL TO OR
 GREATER THAN $750,000 WILL NEED TO COMPLY WITH THIS
 ORDINANCE. PER CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH ORDINANCE NO.
 4504-14, AND CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH CODE OF
 ORDINANCES, ARTICLE V, ART IN PUBLIC PLACES, SECTION
 78-123(A) AND SECTION 78-126(A), THE ART ASSESSMENT IS
 1% OF THE TOTAL PROJECT CONSTRUCTION COST.
 PER CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH CODE OF ORDINANCES, ARTICLE
 V, ART IN PUBLIC PLACES, SECTION 78-122, RENOVATION AND
 NEW CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS ARE ASSESSED CUMULATIVELY, SO
 THE ART ASSESSMENT WILL BE APPLICABLE TO ALL FUTURE
 PROJECTS.
 SEC. 78-129. - PUBLIC ART ASSESSMENT FOR PRIVATE
 DEVELOPMENT.
 (A) APPLICABILITY. THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ARTICLE AND
 THE PUBLIC ART ASSESSMENT SECTION SHALL APPLY TO ALL
 PRIVATE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS, INCLUDING NEW
 CONSTRUCTION, OR THE RENOVATION OR IMPROVEMENT OF AN
 EXISTING BUILDING, WHERE TOTAL CONSTRUCTION COSTS ARE
 EQUAL TO OR GREATER THAN $750,000.00. ALL BUILDINGS
 WITHIN NEW PLANNED DEVELOPMENTS SHALL BE ASSESSED
 CUMULATIVELY TOWARDS THIS ART IN PUBLIC PLACES
 REQUIREMENT, EVEN IF THE BUILDINGS ARE PERMITTED
 SEPARATELY OR DEVELOPED IN PHASES. THE PROVISIONS OF
 THIS SECTION APPLY TO NEW DEVELOPMENT OR NEW
 CONSTRUCTION WITHIN EXISTING PLANNED DEVELOPMENTS.

 2) THE PERMIT APPLICATION INDICATES THE DOLLAR AMOUNT
 OF $2,500,000.00 DOLLARS IN VALUE. THIS MAIN BUILDING
 PERMIT WILL INCLUDE THE FEES FOR THE MECHANICAL,
 ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING & ROOFING PERMITS. WHEN THE
 GENERAL CONTRACTOR COMES IN FOR A BUILDING PERMIT WITH
 THE SIGNED PERMIT APPLICATION FORM BY THE QUALIFIER AND
 OWNER AND BRINGS IN THE LISTED SUB-PERMITS M-E-P &
 ROOFING PERMITS SIGNED BY THE QUALIFIER OF EACH
 COMPANY, THEIR INSURANCES AND LICENSURE UP TO DATE, THE
 M-E-P AND ROOFING PERMITS ARE FREE OF CHARGE. IF THE
 M-E-P & ROOFING PERMITS COME IN LATER THERE WILL BE AN
 $80.00 ADMINISTRATIVE FEE FOR EACH PERMIT.
 ALL OTHER PERMITS FIRE SPRINKLER, FIRE ALARM, RACK
 STORAGE, EXHAUST HOODS, ANSUL SYSTEMS OR ALTERNATIVE
 AUTOMATIC FIRE-EXTINGUISHING SYSTEMS, WALK IN COOLERS &
 FREEZERS, ALL LOW VOLTAGE PERMITS, GENERATORS & FUEL
 TANKS, GAS PERMIT, POOL, JACUZZI AND ASSOCIATED
 SUB-PERMITS, AWNING, SCREEN ENCLOSURES, CANOPY, FENCE,
 LANDSCAPE, IRRIGATION, AUGER CAST PILE AND OR
 FOUNDATION OR STRUCTURE ONLY PERMIT WILL BE SEPARATE
 REVIEWS AND ASSOCIATED FEES WITH EACH PERMIT.
 PLEASE PROVIDE AN ITEMIZED LIST AND SUBTRACT THESE LINE
 ITEMS AND THEIR VALUE FROM THE OVERALL BUILDING VALUE
 STATED ON THE PERMIT APPLICATION FOR THIS PROJECT. THE
 REMAINING BALANCE WILL BE AFFECTIVELY THE VALUE OF THE
 BUILDING YOU WILL BE PAYING FOR THIS PERMIT. THE
 BUILDING DEPARTMENT DOES NOT WANT TO COLLECT TWICE FOR
 THE VALUE OF THESE SUB-PERMITS NOT COVERED UNDER THE
 PRIME OR MASTER PERMIT.
  
 3) THIS BUILDING DOES NOT QUALIFY AS A THRESHOLD
 BUILDING BUT COULD BE CONSIDERED FOR THE RESIDENT
 INSPECTOR PROGRAM UNDER SECTION 110.3.9 OF THE WEST
 PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, 6TH
 EDITION (2017) CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION CODE. THE
 ALTERNATIVE IS USING THE CITY INSPECTORS FOR
 INSPECTIONS, I?VE SPOKEN KEN CONRAD CHIEF BUILDING
 INSPECTOR IF HE HAD ANY PREFERENCE. IF THE CONTRACTOR
 WAS PUSHED WITH MULTIPLE BUILDING INSPECTIONS EACH DAY
 BECAUSE OF TIME CONSTRAINTS THE RESIDENT INSPECTOR
 MAYBE PREFERRED. IF YOU WOULD PREFER TO USE THE CITY
 INSPECTORS FOR THE STRUCTURAL PORTION OF THE BUILDING
 PLEASE REVIEW THE LIMITATIONS OF OUR STAFF FOR WELDED
 OR BOLTED CONNECTIONS.
 THE CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO PROVIDE WELD PROCEDURE
 SPECIFICATIONS & WELDER OPERATOR PERFORMANCE
 QUALIFICATION RECORDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REFERENCED
 STANDARDS AT TIME OF INSPECTION. IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
 AMERICAN WELDING SOCIETY.

 INDICATES THERE IS A SOILS REPORT DATED 08/14/19 BY
 TERRACON. IF THEY CAN UPLOAD THE REPORT WITH ELECTRONIC
 SIGNATURES WITH THE NEXT SUBMITTAL GREAT. IF THEY NEED
 TO SUBMIT PAPER REPORT WITH ORIGINAL SIGNATURE AND SEAL
 THAT WILL WORK ALSO. 2017 FBC-B 1803.5.2 QUESTIONABLE
 SOIL. WHERE THE CLASSIFICATION, STRENGTH OR
 COMPRESSIBILITY OF THE SOIL IS IN DOUBT OR WHERE A
 LOAD-BEARING VALUE SUPERIOR TO THAT SPECIFIED IN THIS
 CODE IS CLAIMED, THE BUILDING OFFICIAL SHALL BE
 PERMITTED TO REQUIRE THAT A GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION
 BE CONDUCTED.
  
 5) NO ACTION REQUIRED. SHEET S-4 WIND PRESSURES ARE
 GOOD FOR ROOF ZONES FOR FLAT 1,2,3, SLOPED 6,7,8 AND
 WALL ZONES 4 & 5.
  
 6) THIS REVIEW THERE WERE NO PRODUCT APPROVALS
 SUBMITTED. IF EITHER THE DESIGNER OF RECORD OR THE
 GENERAL CONTRACTOR WOULD PREFER TO HAVE THE BAR JOIST &
 PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR COMPONENTS AND CLADDING DEFERRED
 PLEASE NOTE SO FOR THE NEXT SUBMITTAL. 107.3.4.2
