 CODE: FBC 6TH EDITION (2017) AND CITY AMENDMENTS.
 PERMIT #19101506.
  
 NOTE: SEC. 801.3 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 1- THERE IS A NEW OPENING PROPOSED ON THE EAST WALL FOR
 THE INSTALLATION OF THE A/C WALL UNIT. OPENINGS ARE NOT
 ALLOWED ON THE WALL WHEN THE WALL IS LOCATED LESS THAN
 3 FEET FROM THE PROPERTY LINE. REVISE LOCATION OF THE
 A/C WALL UNIT. TABLE R302.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 RESPONSE:
 REPEAT COMMENT. NOW REVISED PLANS SHOW A NEW ROOM AND
 AN ADDITIONAL OPENING WAS PROPOSED FOR THE INSTALLATION
 OF ANOTHER A/C WALL UNIT ON THE NEW ROOM. NOW THERE ARE
 TWO OPENINGS ON THE EAST WALL. OPENINGS ARE NOT ALLOWED
 ON THE EAST WALL. TABLE R302.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. REVISE
 AS REQUIRED.
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 2- PROPOSED A/C WALL UNIT DOESN'T HAVE HEATING. NEED TO
 PROVIDE UNIT WITH HEATING AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R303.10
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 RESPONSE:
 REPEAT COMMENT. NOT ADDRESSED. AND, NOW 2 UNITS SHOWN
 ON PLANS NEED TO HAVE HEATING.
  
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 3- THIS IS A CHANGE OF USE FROM GARAGE TO LIVABLE
 SPACE. TYPICALLY, GARAGES ARE BUILT WITHOUT A FLOOR
 VAPOR BARRIER. ENGINEER OF RECORD TO PROVIDE
 SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CONCRETE SLAB VAPOR BARRIER AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. R506.2.3 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 RESPONSE:
 REPEAT COMMENT. NOT ADDRESSED.
  
 NEW COMMENT:
 4- THIS IS A CHANGE OF USE FROM GARAGE TO LIVABLE
 SPACE. PLANS WERE REVISED SHOWING A NEW DEN ROOM.
 A) NEED TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE LIGHT AND
 VENTILATION REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. R303.1
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 B) NEED TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE HEATING
 REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. R303.10 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 C) CLEARLY DENOMINATE THE OTHER ROOM. WHAT IS THE
 PROPOSED USE OF THIS ROOM. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 D) NEW DEN CAN NOT BE USED FOR SLEEPING PURPOSES
 BECAUSE IT DOESN'T HAVE EGRESS OPENINGS AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. R310.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. CLEARLY STATE ON PLANS
 THAT THIS ROOM CAN NOT BE USED FOR SLEEPING PURPOSES.
 SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION &
 REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
 COOPERATION.
  
 PLEASE, INSERT CORRECTED PAGES INTO THE SUBMITTAL AND
 REMOVE/VOID THE PREVIOUSLY REVIEWED SHEETS. PLEASE

 DRAWINGS/DOCUMENTS FOR REFERENCE.
