 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) THE TITLE SHEET-T.1 / PROJECT DATA.
 1A) WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE PROJECT DATA THE PLANS
 INDICATE ALTERATION LEVEL II. THE LAST LISTED BUSINESS
 TAX FOR THIS LOCATION WAS TWISTED LOVE TATTOOS WHICH
 WOULD HAVE BEEN A BUSINESS OCCUPANCY, AS WELL AS
 VICTORIA SALON WHICH IS ALSO A BUSINESS OCCUPANCY, THE
 NEW OCCUPANCY TYPE IS TO BE MERCANTILE. THIS WOULD MEAN
 UNDER THE EXISTING BUILDING CODE, 2017 FBC YOU SHOULD
 DECLARE CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY NOT LEVEL II ALTERATION. IN
 THE 2017 EXISTING BUILDING CODE CHAPTER 10 SHOULD BE
 REFERENCED. THE DESIGNER OF RECORD WILL NEED TO
 DETERMINE IF THE WHOLE BUILDING IS BEING A CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY SEE SECTION 1001.2.2 OR IF THERE IS A PARTIAL
 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY WITHIN THE BUILDING SECTION
 1001.2.2.1 OF THE EXISTING BUILDING CODE AND ASSOCIATED
 SECTIONS.
  
 1B) UNDER THE HEADING OF OCCUPANT LOAD IT APPEARS THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD HAS ROUNDED DOWN TO THE NEXT WHOLE
 OCCUPANT. PLEASE NOTE YOU ALWAYS ROUND UP TO THE NEXT
 WHOLE OCCUPANT. YOU ARE ALWAYS FIGURING THE WORST CASE
 SCENARIO. SALE FLOOR SHOULD READ 15 OCCUPANTS, 2 FOR
 THE BREAK ROOM STORAGE AND RECEIVING SHOULD BE ONE
 OCCUPANT FOR EACH. THE TOTAL OCCUPANT LOAD IS INDICATED
 AS 20 WHERE IT SHOULD BE 19. PLEASE UPDATE THE PLANS IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THE 2019 FBC-B TABLE 1004.1.2.
  
 2) SHEET A.0 DOES INDICATE A DEMOLITION PLAN. THERE IS
 A DEMOLITION PLAN, PERMIT # 19051357 THAT IS READY FOR
 ISSUANCE, BUT NOT ISSUED AS OF YET. THE CONTRACTOR IS
 SISCA, IS THIS WORK GOING TO BE PERFORMED BY THIS
 CONTRACTOR? 107.2.1.2. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS
 REQUIRED.
  
 3) SHEET A.2 DETAILS 13 & 14 BOTH INDICATE THE USE OF
 GALV. METAL MASONRY TIES. THE PLANS STATE TIES TO BE
 INSTALLED AT ALTERNATE MASONRY COURSES (VERTICALLY) BUT
 THE PLANS DO NOT PROVIDE HOW OFTEN THEY ARE TO BE
 INSTALLED HORIZONTALLY. PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE

 IDENTIFY THE OPENING WIDTH & HEIGHT, TYPE OF GLAZING,
 MULLION SIZE, LENGTH IF UNREINFORCED OR REINFORCED
 INFORMATION IF REQUIRED, ATTACHMENTS AND ASSOCIATE
 PRESSURES FOR EACH OPENING SIZE. 2017 FBC-B 1405.13.1
 INSTALLATION. WINDOWS AND DOORS SHALL BE INSTALLED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH APPROVED MANUFACTURER?S INSTRUCTIONS.
 FASTENER SIZE AND SPACING SHALL BE PROVIDED IN SUCH
 INSTRUCTIONS AND SHALL BE CALCULATED BASED ON MAXIMUM
 LOADS AND SPACING USED IN THE TESTS.
  
 6) W. P. B. 107.3.4.1 PRODUCT APPROVALS. THOSE PRODUCTS
 WHICH ARE REGULATED BY THE DCA RULE 9N-03 SHALL BE
 REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF
 RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.

 TO ACTIVATE OPERABLE PARTS SHALL BE 5 POUNDS MAXIMUM.
  
 8) SHEET A.4 UNDER THE WIND DESIGN CRITERIA THE PLANS
 GIVE A CHOICE BETWEEN LARGE MISSILE IMPACT GLAZING OR
 NON-IMPACT GLAZING AND THE REQUIREMENT FOR AN IMPACT
 PROTECTIVE SYSTEM. PLEASE SEE THE 2017 WEST PALM BEACH
 AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, CHAPTER 1
 SECTION 107.2.1. W.P.B. DRAWINGS & SPECIFICATIONS SHALL
 CONTAIN INFORMATION, IN THE FORM OF NOTES OR OTHERWISE,
 AS TO THE QUALITY OF MATERIALS, WHERE QUALITY IS
 ESSENTIAL TO CONFORMITY WITH THE TECHNICAL CODES. SUCH
 INFORMATION SHALL BE SPECIFIC TO THE TECHNICAL CODES
 "SHALL NOT BE CITED AS A WHOLE OR IN PART, NOR THE TERM
 "LEGAL" OR ITS EQUIVALENT BE USED AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR
 SPECIFIC INFORMATION".
  
 9) SHEET A.3 THE ACCESSIBLE DETAILS SHOWS A SIDE VIEW
 OF THE WATER CLOSET AND THE TOILET PAPER DISPENSER. THE
 PLANS INDICATE FROM THE FRONT OF THE WATER CLOSET TO
 THE NEAREST EDGE OF THE DISPENSER TO BE 9 INCHES.
 PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY
 CODE SECTION 604.7 DISPENSERS. TOILET PAPER DISPENSERS
 SHALL COMPLY WITH 309.4 AND SHALL BE 7 INCHES MINIMUM
 AND 9 INCHES MAXIMUM IN FRONT OF THE WATER CLOSET
 MEASURED TO THE CENTERLINE OF THE DISPENSER. THE OUTLET
 OF THE DISPENSER SHALL BE 15 INCHES MINIMUM AND 48
 INCHES MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR AND SHALL NOT BE
 LOCATED BEHIND GRAB BARS. DISPENSERS SHALL NOT BE OF A
 TYPE THAT CONTROLS DELIVERY OR THAT DOES NOT ALLOW
 CONTINUOUS PAPER FLOW.
  
 10) SHEET A.1 SHOWS TABLES AND A POINT OF SALE. THERE
 ARE NO DETAILS TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2017
 ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTIONS:

 SURFACES. WHERE PROVIDED, CHECK WRITING SURFACES SHALL
 COMPLY WITH 902.3.

 SURFACES SHALL BE 28 INCHES MINIMUM AND 34 INCHES
