 SLAB AT THE NEW RAMP AND THE STRUCTURAL STEEL WELDS.
 THIS BUILDING AND THE SCOPE OF WORK WILL QUALIFY FOR A
 RESIDENT INSPECTOR. WE WILL BE E-MAILING THE LISTED
 CONTACT THE GUIDELINES POLICIES AND FORMS TO BE FILED
 OUT AND RETURNED TO THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT FOR REVIEW
 AND APPROVAL.
 2017 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION, 110.3.9 OTHER
 INSPECTIONS SERVICES. THE BUILDING OFFICIAL MAY MAKE,
 OR CAUSE TO BE MADE BY OTHERS, THE INSPECTIONS REQUIRED
 BY SECTION 109. HE/SHE MAY ACCEPT REPORTS OF INSPECTORS
 OF RECOGNIZED INSPECTION SERVICES, PROVIDED THAT AFTER
 INVESTIGATION HE/SHE IS SATISFIED AS TO THEIR
 QUALIFICATIONS AND RELIABILITY. A CERTIFICATE CALLED
 FOR BY ANY PROVISION OF THE TECHNICAL CODES SHALL NOT
 BE BASED ON SUCH REPORTS UNLESS THE SAME ARE IN WRITING
 AND CERTIFIED BY A RESPONSIBLE OFFICER OF SUCH SERVICE.

 61G15-23.001, F.A.C. MUST BE PHYSICALLY SIGNED, DATED
 AND SEALED AS PROVIDED HEREIN BY THE PROFESSIONAL
 ENGINEER IN RESPONSIBLE CHARGE.
 (1) THE LICENSEE SHALL SIGN BY HAND AN ORIGINAL OF THE
 LICENSEE'S SIGNATURE ON EACH PAGE REQUIRED TO BE
 SEALED. A SCANNED, FACSIMILE, DIGITALLY CREATED OR
 COPIED IMAGE OF THE LICENSEE'S SIGNATURE SHALL NOT BE
 USED.
 (2) THE LICENSEE MUST THEN USE A WET SEAL, A DIGITALLY
 CREATED SEAL, OR AN EMBOSSING SEAL PLACED PARTIALLY
 OVERLAPPING THE LICENSEE'S SIGNATURE ON EACH PAGE
 REQUIRED TO BE SEALED. THE PLACEMENT OF THE SEAL SHALL
 NOT RENDER THE SIGNATURE ILLEGIBLE.

 PARTITION WALL IS SHOWN AT THIS LOCATION IN DETAIL 6 ON
 SHEET A401. GLAZING IS NOT ALLOWED IN THIS AREA WHICH
 IS AT A 90 DEGREE ANGLE TO THE EXIT PATH FROM THE EXIT
 PASSAGEWAY. A FIRE ON THE FIRST FLOOR COULD POTENTIALLY
 COMPROMISE THE EXIT. FBC 1023.7
  
 26) THE EXIT DOOR AT THE END OF THE EXIT PASSAGEWAY
 APPEARS TO HAVE THE MINIMUM REQUIRED 32" CLEARANCE
 BETWEEN THE FACE OF THE OPEN DOOR TO THE OFFSET IN THE
 OPPOSITE WALL. THERE IS NO ROOM FOR ERROR WITH THIS
 DESIGN. A SUGGESTION WOULD BE TO MOVE THE DOOR FURTHER
 INTO THE EXIT PASSAGEWAY AND CHANGE THE DOOR TO SWING
 OUT TO THE WALL IN FRONT OF THE SPRINKLER STAND PIPE.
 THIS WOULD PROVIDE A BETTER FLOW OF TRAFFIC FROM THE
 EXIT PASSAGEWAY AT THE EXIT DISCHARGE. FBC 1010.1.1 &

 27) NEW COMMENT. IT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION
 THAT ADDITIONAL ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCES TO THIS TENANT
 SPACE MAY BE REQUIRED. SECTION 206.4.1 OF THE 2017
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE ACCESSIBILITY PUBLIC ENTRANCES.
 IN ADDITION TO ENTRANCES REQUIRED BY 206.4.2 THROUGH
 206.4.9, AT LEAST 60 PERCENT OF ALL PUBLIC ENTRANCES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH 404. THERE ARE THREE PUBLIC ENTRANCES
 SHOWN ON THE PLANS. THEREFORE, TWO OF THEM ARE REQUIRED
 TO COMPLY WITH 404. IF DOCUMENTATION IS PROVIDED
 SHOWING 20 PERCENT DISPROPORTIONALITY TO THE COST OF
 THE OVERALL ALTERATION, THEN THE ONE ACCESSIBLE
 ENTRANCE MAY MEET THE REQUIREMENTS. SEE FBC

 RESPONSE LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE
 CITY RE-SUBMITTAL FORM. ADDITIONALLY, PLEASE INSERT
 CORRECTED PLAN SHEETS INTO THE SETS, REMOVE THE
 PREVIOUSLY REVIEWED SHEETS AND MARK VOID ON THEM, AND
 KEEP THEM WITH THE SUBMITTALS. ADDITIONAL PLAN REVIEW
 COMMENTS MAY BE GENERATED WHEN MORE INFORMATION IS
