 2017 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 ACTION: DENIED
  
 1) THIS REVIEW RESIDENT INSPECTOR FORMS WERE SUBMITTED
 BUT THERE IS STILL NO CONTRACTOR SIGNED ONTO THE PERMIT
 NOR ONTO THE RESIDENT INSPECTOR FORMS.
  
 3RD REVIEW NOTES. NOTED RESPONSE THAT ONCE A CONTRACTOR
 IS HIRED/ CONTRACTED WITH THE RESIDENT INSPECTOR FORMS
 WILL BE SIGNED AND RETURNED TO THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT
 AND REVIEWED AND APPROVED BEFORE PERMIT ISSUANCE.
  
 THE TYPE OF STRUCTURAL REPAIRS ON THE LIFT STATION AND
 WET WELL WILL LEND ITSELF BETTER FOR A RESIDENT
 INSPECTOR. MONDAY FEB. 03/2020 I SPOKE WITH OUR
 ASSISTANT BUILDING OFFICIAL RICHARD GATHRIGHT AFTER
 SPEAKING WITH MR. RANDY ERYSTHEE ABOUT 3RD PARTY
 INSPECTIONS. MR. ERYSTHEE ASKED IF THE CITY INSPECTORS
 COULD DO THE STRUCTURAL INSPECTIONS. MR. GATHRIGHT AND
 I MET WITH THE CHIEF BUILDING INSPECTOR THIS MORNING
 ABOUT CITY INSPECTORS DOING THIS TYPE OF INSPECTIONS.
 BOTH THE CHIEF BUILDING INSPECTOR AND MR. GATHRIGHT
 AGREED THAT THIS TYPE OF RESTORATION WORK WOULD REQUIRE
 A 3RD PARTY INSPECTION SERVICE (RESIDENT INSPECTOR)
 THAT COULD STAY ONSITE THROUGHOUT THE DURATION OF THE
 RESTORATION WORK. THE FORMS SENT TO MR. RANDY ERYSTHEE
 WILL NEED TO BE COMPLETED SIGNED BY ALL PARTIES AND
 RETURNED TO THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT BEFORE THE PERMIT
 CAN BE ISSUED.
 2017 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, CHAPTER 1 OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE SECTION
 110.3.9. THE BUILDING OFFICIAL MAY MAKE, OR CAUSE TO BE
 MADE BY OTHERS, THE INSPECTIONS REQUIRED BY SECTION
 110. HE/SHE MAY ACCEPT REPORTS OF INSPECTORS OF
 RECOGNIZED INSPECTION SERVICES, PROVIDED THAT AFTER
 INVESTIGATION HE/SHE IS SATISFIED AS TO THEIR
 QUALIFICATIONS AND RELIABILITY. A CERTIFICATE CALLED
 FOR BY ANY PROVISION OF THE TECHNICAL CODES SHALL NOT
 BE BASED ON SUCH REPORTS UNLESS THE SAME ARE IN WRITING
 AND CERTIFIED BY A RESPONSIBLE OFFICER OF SUCH SERVICE.
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL MAY REQUIRE THE OWNER TO EMPLOY
 AN INSPECTION SERVICE IN THE FOLLOWING INSTANCES:

 PAGES 9-13 DEAL WITH RESIDENT INSPECTORS
 PAGES 14-16 RESIDENT INSPECTOR FORMS. FORMS WILL NEED
 TO BE SIGNED BY ALL INTERESTED PARTIES AND SUBMITTED TO
 THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT BEFORE PERMIT ISSUANCE.
 SUCH INSPECTORS SHALL BE ADEQUATELY PRESENT AT TIMES
 WORK IS UNDERWAY ON THE STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS OF THE
 BUILDING. SUCH INSPECTORS SHALL BE A REGISTERED
 ARCHITECT, OR ENGINEER, OR A PERSON LICENSED UNDER
 CHAPTER 468, PART XII, FLORIDA STATUTES. SUCH
 INSPECTORS SHALL SUBMIT WEEKLY PROGRESS REPORTS
 INCLUDING THE DAILY INSPECTIONS TO THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL, AND INCLUDING A CODE COMPLIANCE OPINION OF
 THE RESIDENT INSPECTOR.
 AT THE COMPLETION OF THE CONSTRUCTION WORK OR PROJECT,
 SUCH INSPECTORS SHALL SUBMIT A CERTIFICATE OF
 COMPLIANCE TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL, STATING THAT THE
 WORK WAS DONE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THIS CODE AND IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THE PERMITTED DRAWING. FINAL INSPECTION
 SHALL BE MADE BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL BEFORE A
 CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY OR CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
 IS ISSUED; AND CONFIRMATION INSPECTIONS MAY BE MADE AT
 ANY TIME TO MONITOR ACTIVITIES AND RESIDENT INSPECTORS.
  
 2A) BUILDING PROVISO: 107.3.4.2 DEFERRED SUBMITTALS.
 FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS SECTION, DEFERRED SUBMITTALS
 ARE DEFINED AS THOSE PORTIONS OF THE DESIGN THAT ARE
 NOT SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF THE APPLICATION AND THAT
 ARE TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITHIN A
 SPECIFIED PERIOD. DEFERRAL OF ANY SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL
 HAVE THE PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. THE
 REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN RESPONSIBLE CHARGE
 SHALL LIST THE DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ON THE CONSTRUCTION
 DOCUMENTS FOR REVIEW BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
 DOCUMENTS FOR DEFERRED SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED TO THE REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN
 RESPONSIBLE CHARGE WHO SHALL REVIEW THEM AND FORWARD
 THEM TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITH A NOTATION
 INDICATING THAT THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE
 BEEN REVIEWED AND FOUND TO BE IN GENERAL CONFORMANCE TO
 THE DESIGN OF THE BUILDING. THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL
 ITEMS SHALL NOT BE INSTALLED UNTIL THE DEFERRED
 SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL.

 3) 4TH REVIEW. SHEET S-3 LIST THE PRODUCTS TO BE USED
 IN THE STRUCTURAL REPAIRS. PLEASE PROVIDE THE PRODUCT
 DATA SHEETS AND MSDS SHEETS FOR ALL OF THE PRODUCTS
 THAT ARE GOING TO BE USED IN THE STRUCTURAL REPAIR?S
 PRIORITIES AND PROCEDURES.
 PLEASE PROVIDE HOW THESE CHEMICALS ARE GOING TO BE
 STORED. HOW THE TOOLS WILL BE CLEANED AND HOW THE
 CHEMICAL WASTE FROM THE SIKA SYSTEM WILL BE DISPOSED.
