 JANUARY 6, 2020
 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING ITEMS FOR TREE DISPOSITION:
 ? IDENTIFY AND SHOW THE CORRECT SPECIES OF EACH TREE
 AND PALM LISTED ON A DISPOSITION CHART.
 ? PROVIDE A SEPARATE TREE DISPOSITION PLAN WITH ALL
 RELATED DISPOSITION INFORMATION SHOWING LOCATIONS OF
 EXISTING TREES ON SITE AND SHOW REMOVE/REMAIN OR
 RELOCATE.
 ? GIVE THE CONDITION OF EACH TREE, NOTING THAT ALL
 NATIVE TREES AND PALMS IN GOOD CONDITION MUST BE
 PRESERVED OR RELOCATED.
 ? INCLUDE CANOPY DIAMETER MEASUREMENT FOR TREES IN
 ORDER TO CALCULATE MITIGATION DUE IF REMOVED.
 ? PROVIDE A MITIGATION CHART BASED ON THE PLANT LIST
 SHOWING THE AMOUNT OF REPLACEMENT TREE CANOPY PROVIDED.
  
 2. NWD-R-C1 DISTRICT REFERS TO THE GENERAL LANDSCAPE
 CODE FOR REQUIREMENTS. THE COMMERCIAL USE REQUIRES
 BUFFERING FROM ADJACENT PROPERTIES PER SECTION
 94-443(A) WITH A PROTECTIVE SCREEN WALL ALONG THE WEST
 PROPERTY LINE AND REQUIRED TREES. THE PARKING AREA
 REQUIRES A HEDGE ALONG THE ENTIRE PARKING AREA, AND THE
 NORTH PROPERTY LINE REQUIRES A HEDGE.
  
 3. CALCULATE THE REQUIRED TREES AND FLOWERING TREES
 REQUIRED BASE ON OPEN SPACE PER SECTION 94-442(C)(2)B.
 4. IN THE RIGHT OF WAY, THE LIVE OAK IS SHOWN IN A
 PAVED PARKING AREA, AND THE EXISTING ADONIDIA PALMS
 NEED TO BE CONFIRMED THAT THEY DO NOT CAUSE ISSUES IN
 THE SAFE SIGHT TRIANGLES.
  
 5. PROVIDE THE FLORIDA FRIENDLY LANDSCAPE DESIGN
 OPTIONS CHART SECTION 94-446 (G) AND PROVIDE THE
 REQUIRED 50 POINTS.
  
 6. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 94-445 L. PLANT
 SPECIES. A MINIMUM OF 60 PERCENT OF PLANT MATERIAL
 ADDED SHALL BE FLORIDA NATIVE OR DROUGHT TOLERANT
 SPECIES SELECTED FROM THE CITY LIST OR THE LIST OF
 SPECIES IN THE MOST RECENT EDITION OF SOUTH FLORIDA
 WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT WATERWISE SOUTH FLORIDA
 LANDSCAPES.
  
  
 7. SHOW LOCATIONS OF WATER AND SEWER SERVICE LINES ON
 THE LANDSCAPE PLAN AND RESOLVE CONFLICTS WITH
 LANDSCAPING.
 8. PROVIDE LOCATIONS AND SCREENING FOR ALL ABOVE GROUND
 UTILITY VALVES, BACKFLOW PREVENTERS, A/C UNITS, AND
 IRRIGATION BACKFLOWS.
  
 9. SHOW LOCATIONS OF ANY ROOT BARRIERS REQUIRED TO
 PROTECT UTILITY LINES AND EXFILTRATION TRENCHES.
 10. MAKE SURE THERE IS ONLY ONE SET OF LANDSCAPE PLANS
 IN THE LANDSCAPE PERMIT, AND REMOVE ALL OTHER VERSIONS
 INCLUDED IN OTHER PERMITS.
  
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
