 CODE: FBC 6TH EDITION (2017) AND CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 1- GARAGE IS CONVERTED TO ADDITIONAL LIVABLE AREA.
 PROVIDE ENERGY CALCULATIONS (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. 1106 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING AND SEC. R101.5
 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
 NOTE: PLEASE MAKE SURE ENERGY CALCULATIONS ARE SIGNED
 BY ALL THE REQUIRED PARTIES AND COORDINATE WITH PLANS
 TO AVOID CONFLICTS/DELAYS.
  
 2- THE PLANS DON'T SPECIFY THE BUILDING CODE. THE FBC
 SIXTH EDITION (2017) WENT INTO EFFECT ON DECEMBER 31ST
 2017. ALL NEW PERMITS APPLIED FOR ON OR AFTER THAT DATE
 ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH AND REFERENCE THE FBC SIXTH
 EDITION (2017).
  
 3- PLANS DON'T SPECIFY THE WIND DESIGN CRITERIA AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 1101.1 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING AND SEC.
 R301.2.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. SPECIFY THE ULTIMATE AND
 NOMINAL WIND LOADS, BUILDING EXPOSURE AND PROVIDE THE
 DESIGN PRESSURES FOR ALL DOORS AND WINDOWS.
 NOTE: THIS HOUSE IS LOCATED IN EXPOSURE "D". SEC.
 R301.2.1.4.3 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 4- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. 1101.1 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING AND FAC 61G20-3.001
 FOR:
  
 A) SLIDING GLASS DOORS AS SHOWN ON PLANS.
  
 B) FRENCH DOORS AS SHOWN ON PLANS.
  
 C) SHUTTERS IF THE FRENCH DOORS AND SLIDING GLASS DOORS
 DON'T HAVE IMPACT GLAZING. AND, COMPLETE INSTALLATION
 SCHEDULE WILL BE REQUIRED ALSO.
  
 5- ARCHITECT OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 6- SPECIFY CARBON MONOXIDE ALARMS BY ALL BEDROOMS AS
 REQUIRED BY 1101.1 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING AND SEC.
 R315.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 7- IMPACT FEES -
 PLANS REQUIRE REVIEW BY THE PBC IMPACT FEE OFFICE. CALL
 (561) 233-5025. UPON APPROVAL OF PLANS, YOU MAY CHECK
 OUT ONE PLAN SET AND TAKE TO THAT OFFICE FOR REVIEW.
 PLEASE RETURNED STAMPED AND WITH A COPY OF THE RECEIPT
 AS APPLICABLE. PLEASE PROVIDE THE MUNICIPAL IMPACT FEE
 QUESTIONNAIRE FORM TO THE PBC IMPACT FEE OFFICE. THE

 8- FOR INFORMATION ONLY: THIS BUILDING IS LOCATED IN
 FLOOD ZONE AE WITH THE BASE FLOOD BFE: 7 FEET BASED ON
 NAVD 1988. AFTER MEETING WITH ROBERT BROWN AND OWNERS
 (JOHNSON JEREMY AND JOHNSON RITA) IT WAS DETERMINED
 THAT WORK WAS DONE BY PREVIOUS OWNER WITHOUT PERMITS.
 CURRENT OWNER PURCHASED THE HOUSE ON APRIL 2012.
 THEREFORE, THIS WORK DOESN'T COUNT FOR THE FIVE YEAR
 PERIOD TO BE CONSIDERED BY CITY ORDINANCE TO DETERMINE
 IF THIS WORK WOULD BE CONSIDERED "SUBSTANTIAL
 IMPROVEMENT". FUTURE WORK WILL BE CONSIDERED TO
 DETERMINE IF THE SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT THRESHOLD IS
 MET.
  
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION &
 REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
