 CODE: FBC 6TH EDITION (2017) AND CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 NOTE: SEC. 801.3 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
  
 1- THIS HOUSE WAS BUILT UNDER PERMIT #05031759.
 ACCORDING TO CITY RECORDS, PLANS SHOW THAT THE SECOND
 FLOOR WAS LEFT UNFINISHED. BASED ON CITY PLANS THERE IS
 DOOR LEADING FROM THE GARAGE TO THE ROOM ABOVE.
 OPENINGS FROM THE GARAGE TO A ROOM THAT CAN BE USED FOR
 SLEEPING PURPOSES IS NOT ALLOWED. REVISE PLANS AS
 REQUIRED. SEC. 801.3 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING AND SEC.
 R302.5.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 2- PROVIDE SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE GARAGE DOOR LEADING
 TO THE SECOND FLOOR TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPENING
 PROTECTION OF SEC. 801.3 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING AND SEC.
 R302.5.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 3- NEED TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE EGRESS REQUIREMENTS
 WITHOUT TRAVELING THROUGH THE GARAGE. PROVIDE PLANS
 SHOWING THE EGRESS FROM THE SECOND FLOOR TO THE OUTSIDE
 OF THE STRUCTURE. SEC. 801.3 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING AND
 SEC. R311.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 4- SPECIFY THE HEADROOM IN STAIRWAY AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 R311.7.2 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 5- ENERGY CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED:
 A) ENERGY CALCULATIONS FORM IS REQUIRED TO BE CERTIFIED
 AT THE BOTTOM OF THE FORM BY THE OWNER, THE OWNER'S
 ARCHITECT OR OTHER AUTHORIZED AGENT LEGALLY DESIGNED BY
 THE OWNER PRIOR TO RECEIVE THE PERMIT. AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. R103.1.1.2 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION, 6TH EDITION
 (2017).
  
 B)PROVIDE COMPLETE INFORMATION ON TOP OF FORM,
 INCLUDING THE BUILDER'S NAME. SEC. R101.5.1.1.2
 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 C)REVISE THE ATTIC VENT RATIO ON PAGE 2 OF 4. THE RATIO
 IS 1/150 NOT 1/300. SEC. R806.2 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. OR,
 PERSON PREPARING THE ENERGY CALCULATIONS TO PROVIDE
 COMPLETE DOCUMENTATION SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 1/300 RATIO AS REQUIRED BY THE EXCEPTION ON SEC.
 R806.2.
  
 D) REVISE ITEM #4 ON PAGE 1 OF 4 TO MATCH PLANS.
 ACCORDING TO PLANS SUBMITTED. THIS STUDIO IS USED AS
 ONE BEDROOM. R101.5.1.1.2 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 6- VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO
 LOW. VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS,
 CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND PROFIT AND DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL FEES AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 109.3 CITY
 AMENDMENTS. UPDATE VALUATION OR PROVIDE COPY OF
 VALUATION SIGNED CONTRACTS INCLUDING DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL FEES.
  
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION &
 REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
 COOPERATION.
  
 PLEASE, INSERT CORRECTED PAGES INTO THE SUBMITTAL AND
 REMOVE/VOID THE PREVIOUSLY REVIEWED SHEETS. PLEASE
 DON'T STAPLE OLD DRAWINGS/DOCUMENTS . SUBMIT OLD
 DRAWINGS/DOCUMENTS FOR REFERENCE.
