 CODE SECTION 1002.1 COMPLIANCE WITH THE BUILDING CODE.
 WHERE THE CHARACTER OR USE OF AN EXISTING BUILDING OR
 PART OF AN EXISTING BUILDING IS CHANGED TO ONE OF THE
 FOLLOWING SPECIAL USE OR OCCUPANCY CATEGORIES AS

 FBC-B. WHERE A BUILDING CONTAINS MORE THAN ONE
 OCCUPANCY GROUP, THE BUILDING OR PORTION THEREOF SHALL
 COMPLY WITH THE APPLICABLE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 508.2,
 508.3 OR 508.4, OR A COMBINATION OF THESE SECTIONS.
 PLEASE NOTE PARKING GARAGES ARE PART OF THE SPECIALTY
 OCCUPANCIES FOUND IN CHAPTER 4 AND WILL REQUIRE FIRE
 SEPARATION AS PER TABLE 508.4 OF THE FBC-B. PLEASE ALSO
 NOTE FOOTNOTE B. THE REQUIRED SEPARATION FROM AREAS
 USED ONLY FOR PRIVATE OR PLEASURE VEHICLES SHALL BE

 UTILITY STILL REQUIRES A 1 HOUR FIRE BARRIER IN

 4B) PLEASE NOTE THAT PRIVATE GARAGES NEED ONLY TO
 COMPLY WITH 406.3.1 THROUGH 406.3.6. VENTILATION

 5A) THE IDEA OF CALLING THIS STRUCTURE A LIVE/ WORK
 UNIT DOES NOT MEET THE CRITERIA FOUND IN SECTION
 419.1.1 LIMITATIONS OF THE 2017 FBC-B. THE
 NON-RESIDENTIAL AREA IS PERMITTED TO BE NOT GREATER
 THAN50 % OF THE AREA OF EACH LIVE/ WORK UNITS.
  
 5B) THE OTHER OCCUPANCY SEPARATION THAT WILL NEED TO
 OCCUR IS THE RESIDENTIAL R-3 VERSES THE A-3 OCCUPANCY
 (GALLERY). TABLE 508.4 OF THE 2017 FBC-B WILL ALSO
 REQUIRE A 1 HOUR FIRE SEPARATION PER TABLE 508.4 FOR A
 SPRINKLERED BUILDING.
  
 6) THE OCCUPANCY TYPE HAD NOT BEEN DECLARED BUT WITH AN
 AREA OF 1,250 S. F. / 30= 42 OCC. FOR THE GALLERY,
 LIBRARY 344 S. F. / 30= 12 OCC. AND STORAGE 236 S. F. /
 300= 1 OCC. FOR A TOTAL OF 50 OCCUPANTS. THIS WOULD
 REQUIRE 2 EGRESS DOORS, BOTH THE GALLERY AND LIBRARY
 DOORS CAN SERVE THIS PURPOSE BUT WILL NEED TO SHOW EXIT
 LIGHTS OVER THESE DOORS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2017
 FBC-B SECTION 1108.2. PLEASE ALSO DEVELOP A LIFE SAFETY
 PLAN SHOWING MEANS OF EGRESS, COMMON PATH OF TRAVEL,
 AND OCCUPANT LOADS ON THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN.
  
  
 8) PLEASE SHOW HOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2017 EXIST.
 BUILD. CODE SECTION 1012.1.4 WILL BE ACHIEVED. 1012.1.4
 ACCESSIBILITY. ALL BUILDINGS UNDERGOING A CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION
 1012.8. 1012.8 ACCESSIBILITY. EXISTING BUILDINGS THAT
 UNDERGO A CHANGE OF GROUP OR OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, ACCESSIBILITY.
 NOTICE: 2017 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE.
 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE

 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY THE BUILDING IS LOOKED AT FOR
 ACCESSIBILITY ISSUES. NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS HAVE TO
 COMPLY WITH ACCESSIBILITY. EXISTING ELEMENTS THAT DO
 NOT COMPLY ONLY 20 % OF THE CONTRACT VALUE (THAT MAY
 INCREASE DEALING WITH CODE ISSUES THAT HAVE TO BE
 BROUGHT UP TO CODE). THE PLANS WERE SUBMITTED WITH A
 CONSTRUCTION VALUE OF $75,000 DOLLARS OF VALUE, TO
 BRING ACCESSIBLE ELEMENTS UP TO CODE UP TO AN
 ADDITIONAL $15,000.00 MAY HAVE TO BE SPENT AND IN THIS
 ORDER.
 2017 FBC- ACCESS. CODE. 202.4.2 ACCESSIBLE FEATURES IN
 THE EVENT OF DISPROPORTIONALITY. WHEN THE COST OF
 ALTERATIONS NECESSARY TO MAKE THE PATH OF TRAVEL TO THE
 ALTERED AREA FULLY ACCESSIBLE IS DISPROPORTIONATE TO
 THE COST OF THE OVERALL ALTERATION, THE PATH OF TRAVEL
 SHALL BE MADE ACCESSIBLE TO THE EXTENT THAT IT CAN BE
 MADE ACCESSIBLE WITHOUT INCURRING DISPROPORTIONATE

 ELEMENTS CANNOT BE FIXED WITH THE STATED DOLLAR AMOUNT
 GIVEN. THE REMAINDER OF THE ACCESSIBLE ELEMENTS THAT
