 TO BE ABLE TO DETERMINE THE TIMBER SIZE.
  
 6) SHEET A-5 DETAIL # 2 INDICATES THE FINISH FLOOR
 LEVEL BUT DOES NOT PROVIDE WHAT FINISH GRADE WILL BE?
 DETAIL # 1 ON THE SAME SHEET DOES SHOW GRADE 6 INCHES
 LOWER THAN FINISH FLOOR. THERE ARE 2 AREAS OF CONCERN:
 6A) THAT THE FOUNDATION SHALL COMPLY WITH 2017 FBC-B
 SECTION 1809.4. THE MINIMUM DEPTH OF THE FOUNDATION
 BELOW THE UNDISTURBED GROUND SURFACE SHALL BE 12
 INCHES.
  
 6B) THE SECOND ISSUE FOUND IS THE NOT KNOWING WHERE THE
 FINISH GRADE IS AND THE USE OF STUCCO AND WOOD
 SUB-SHEATHING POSSIBLY AT GRADE. 2017 FBC-B SECTION
 2304.12.1.5. BETWEEN GRADE AND WOOD SIDING AND OR WOOD
 SUB-SHEATHING ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE BUILDING SHALL NOT
 BE LESS THAN 6 INCHES UNLESS THE WALL SHEATHING IS
 NATURALLY DURABLE WOOD OR PRESSURE TREATED WOOD.
  
 7) SHEET A-0 DOES NOT REQUIRE A SOILS TEST, PLEASE SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH 2017 FBC-B 1803.5.2 QUESTIONABLE SOIL.
 WHERE THE CLASSIFICATION, STRENGTH OR COMPRESSIBILITY
 OF THE SOIL IS IN DOUBT OR WHERE A LOAD-BEARING VALUE
 SUPERIOR TO THAT SPECIFIED IN THIS CODE IS CLAIMED, THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL SHALL BE PERMITTED TO REQUIRE THAT A
 GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION BE CONDUCTED.
  
 8) SHEET A-5 SHOWS DETAIL 1 & 2 OF THE EXISTING ROOF
 AND THE TIE-IN OF THE NEW ADDITION AND ROOF LINE. THE
 PLANS ARE SILENT AS TO HOW VENTILATION FOR ATTICS WILL
 BE ACHIEVED? PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2017 FBC-B
 SECTION 1203.2.
  
 9) THIS REVIEW THERE WERE NO DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED FOR
 ENERGY COMPLIANCE. PLEAS SHOW HOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 2017 ENERGY CODE WILL BE ACHIEVED.
 C401.2 APPLICATION.
 COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS SHALL COMPLY WITH ONE OF THE
 FOLLOWING:
  
 1.THE REQUIREMENTS OF ANSI/ASHRAE/IESNA 90.1, EXCLUDING
 SECTION 9.4.1.1(G) OF THE STANDARD.
  
 2.THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTIONS C402 THROUGH C405. IN
 ADDITION, COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS SHALL COMPLY WITH
 SECTION C406 AND TENANT SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH
 SECTION C406.1.1.
  
 3.THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTIONS C402.5, C403.2, C404,
 C405.2, C405.3, C405.5, C405.6 AND C407. THE BUILDING
 ENERGY COST SHALL BE EQUAL TO OR LESS THAN 85 PERCENT
 OF THE STANDARD REFERENCE DESIGN BUILDING.
 C101.5 COMPLIANCE.
  
 COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS SHALL MEET THE PROVISIONS OF
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, ENERGY CONSERVATION?COMMERCIAL
 PROVISIONS.
  
 C101.5.1 COMPLIANCE MATERIALS. THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 COMMISSION SHALL APPROVE SPECIFIC COMPUTER SOFTWARE.
 THE CODE OFFICIAL SHALL BE PERMITTED TO APPROVE
 WORKSHEETS, COMPLIANCE MANUALS AND OTHER SIMILAR
 MATERIALS THAT MEET THE INTENT OF THIS CODE.

 WITH A COPY OF THE RECEIPT AS APPLICABLE. PLEASE
 PROVIDE THE MUNICIPAL IMPACT FEE QUESTIONNAIRE FORM TO
 THE PBC IMPACT FEE OFFICE. THE FORM CAN BE FOUND AT:

 11) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE

 AS NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED

 A THOROUGH REVIEW OF THE PLANS COULD NOT HAPPEN SINCE
 THERE WAS A GREAT DEFICIENCY IN PLANS AND REQUIRED
 DOCUMENTATION. WITH THE NEXT PLAN REVIEW CYCLE THERE
 MAYBE ADDITIONAL REVIEW COMMENTS BECAUSE OF NEW PLANS
 AND INFORMATION LACKING UNDER THE PRIOR REVIEW.
