 TRAVEL DISTANCE.
 -SHOW THE MAXIMUM COMMON PATH FROM TABLE 1006.2.1. ON
 THE LIFE SAFETY SHEET.
  
 2) 3006.3 HOISTWAY OPENING PROTECTION.
 ARE THE ELEVATORS IN AN ELEVATOR LOBBY, OR ARE THEY
 PRESSURIZED?
 IF THIS IS AN ELEVATOR LOBBY PLEASE ADD DETAILS OF HOW
 IT COMPLIES.
  
 801.2 ALTERATION LEVEL 1 COMPLIANCE. IN ADDITION TO THE
 REQUIREMENTS OF THIS CHAPTER, ALL WORK SHALL COMPLY
 WITH THE
 REQUIREMENTS OF CHAPTER 7.
 701.2 CONFORMANCE. AN EXISTING BUILDING OR PORTION
 THEREOF
 SHALL NOT BE ALTERED SUCH THAT THE BUILDING BECOMES
 LESS SAFE
 OR ENERGY EFFICIENT THAN ITS EXISTING CONDITION.
 -THE REASON I BRING UP EGRESS IS THAT THE DEMO PLAN AND
 PROPOSED FLOOR PLAN HAVE SOME VARIATION FROM WHAT WAS
 PERMITTED IN PERMIT #07050509 WHEN THE WHOLE FLOOR WAS
 RENOVATED. I DO NOT SEE ANY PERMITS AFTER THAT ONE SO I
 AM USING THOSE PERMIT DRAWINGS AS A BASE FOR THE
 CURRENT CHANGES. THOSE PLANS SHOW MORE OPTIONS FOR
 EGRESS AND HAD A DOOR FROM THE BREAK ROOM INTO CORRIDOR
 WHERE EXIT STAIR IS LOCATED.
  
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL CAN ACCEPT VARIATIONS FROM CODE
 ON EXISTING BUILDINGS, BUT HE IS FOCUSED ON AREAS WHERE
 ELEVATORS ARE IN THE PATH OF EGRESS AND IN THIS CASE
 THE POINT WHERE TWO OPTIONS FOR EGRESS OCCURS IS RIGHT
 NEXT TO THE ELEVATORS.
 PLEASE REVIEW AND FEEL FREE TO CALL AND DISCUSS OR
 SET-UP A MEETING WITH THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 ALSO, I NOTICED THAT YOU DON?T SHOW THE WATER FOUNTAINS
 THAT ARE SHOWING IN PERMIT #07050509 OUTSIDE OF
 BATHROOMS.
 PLEASE SHOW IF THEY ARE THERE SINCE WE DID NOT INCLUDE
 A PLUMBING STOP OR LET ME KNOW WHY THERE ARE NONE. I
 FIGURED THAT THE FOCUS WAS OFFICES AND NOT ALL DETAILS
 WERE INCLUDED, BUT THIS AREA IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE WE
 ARE LOOKING AT THAT AREA FOR CONFLICTS IN APPROVED
 PLANS VERSES WHAT SHOWS ON THE NEW PLANS.
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING, PROVIDE TWO IDENTICAL COLLATED SETS
 OF DOCUMENTS FOR ISSUANCE. OLD SHEETS (BOTH SETS)
 SHOULD BE RETAINED IN THE PACKAGE; PLEASE DO NOT
 DISCARD ANY DOCUMENTS. THEY SHOULD BE BOUND TOGETHER
 SEPARATELY FROM THE TWO ISSUANCE SETS AND MARKED "VOID"
 OR "OLD SHEETS". PLEASE DO NOT STAMP THE PLANS VOID AS
 APPLICANTS ARE INADVERTENTLY STAMPING SHEETS THAT WE
 NEED "VOID", RENDERING THEM NOT USABLE.
