2019-07-26 16:00:18THE PERMIT HAS FAILED FOR THE FOLLOWING REASON(S):
  
 1. PROVIDE A SURVEY THAT INDICATES THAT THE PROPOSED AC
 COMPRESSORS COMPLIES WITH SETBACK REQUIREMENTS PER SEC.
 94-305 (B)(4) - MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT. MECHANICAL
 EQUIPMENT MAY NOT PROJECT MORE THAN FOUR FEET INTO A
 SETBACK. WINDOW AIR-CONDITIONING UNITS MAY NOT PROJECT
 MORE THAN 18 INCHES INTO A REQUIRED SIDE SETBACK. THE
 REQUIRED SIDE SETBACK FOR THIS PROPERTY IS 5 FOOT ON
 ONE SIDE AND A TOTAL SIDE SETBACK OF 15 FOOT. THE
 EXISTING STRUCTURE CAN REMAIN WHERE IT IS, THE NEW
 MECHANICAL MUST COMPLY.
 2. PROVIDE TWO COPIES OF ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS.
 3. PROVIDE A WINDOW AND DOOR SCHEDULE ILLUSTRATING THE
 ROUGH OPENING SIZE, SIZE OF THE PRODUCT, TYPE OF
 PRODUCT (EXAMPLE. SINGLE-HUNG), MATERIAL OF PRODUCT,
 GLASS COLOR/TINT (CLEAR GLASS OR CLEAR GLASS WITH LOW-E
 COATING ONLY) AND COLOR OF FRAME. VINYL IS PROHIBITED
 WITHIN A HISTORIC DISTRICT.
 4. PROVIDE A DESCRIPTION THAT ALL WINDOWS WILL HAVE
 EXTERNAL OGEE DIMENSIONAL MUNTINS.
 5. ALL PAIRED WINDOWS SHALL HAVE A MULLION OF
 APPROXIMATELY 4 INCHES.
 6. PROVIDE A DETAIL ON THE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE
 PREVIOUSLY UNAPPROVED DEMOLITION OF TWO CHIMNEYS ON
 SITE PLANS AND ELEVATIONS. THE CHIMNEY?S MUST BE
 REBUILT IN ORIGINAL MATERIALS.
 7. PROVIDE A DETAIL OF THE PROPOSED TILE ROOF. A TILE
 ROOF MAY NOT BE AN APPROPRIATE ROOFING MATERIAL FOR
 THIS STRUCTURE.
 8. CLARIFY ALL ELEVATION CHANGES. FOR EXAMPLE, THE
 PROPOSED FRONT ELEVATION SEEMS TO HAVE NARROWER COLUMNS
 THAN THAT CURRENTLY EXIST AND ADDED TRIM SURROUND.
 STAFF RECOMMENDS PROVIDING EXISTING AND PROPOSED
 ELEVATIONS.
  
 THE FOLLOWING ARE PROPOSED CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL,
 ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS MAY BE ADDED AFTER RESUBMITTAL.
  
 A. ALL WINDOWS AND DOORS SHALL HAVE CLEAR GLASS OR
 CLEAR GLASS WITH LOW-E COATING.
 B. ALL WINDOWS SHALL HAVE EXTERNAL OGEE DIMENSIONAL
 MUNTINS.
 C. ALL WINDOWS AND DOORS SHALL BE SIZED TO FIT THE
 ORIGINAL WINDOW OR DOOR FRAME OPENING. ALL WINDOWS
 SHALL MATCH THE INSET/DEPTH OF THE ORIGINAL WINDOWS
 WITHIN THE WINDOW OPENING.
