 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1A) BUILDING PROVISO: SHEET 013-S.1 INDICATES IN DETAIL
 # 1 ON GRID LINES L/9 THE REMOVAL OF A COLUMN ON THE
 UPPER FLOOR. ASSOCIATED WITH THIS DETAIL NOTE # 1
 INDICATES DO NOT REMOVE COLUMN UNTIL PHASE 1 WORK IS
 COMPLETE. GRIND BACK VERTICAL BARS 1 INCHES MINIMUM AND
 TREAT REBAR WITH SIKA ARAMATEC. PATCH HOLE WITH 5,000
 PSI HIGH STRENGTH NON SHRINK GROUT.
 SHEET S-1 FRAMING NOTES FOR SHORING AND RESHORING
 INDICATE THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE SHORING, BRACING
 AND STRUCTURAL SUPPORTS AS REQUIRED TO PRESERVE THE
 STABILITY OF THE STRUCTURE DURING CONSTRUCTION. SUBMIT
 SIGNED AND SEALED SHOP DRAWINGS PREPARED BY A DELEGATED
 ENGINEER EXPERIENCED IN SUCH WORK AND LICENSED IN THE
 STATE OF FLORIDA. SUBMIT DRAWINGS TO THE ARCHITECT,
 ENGINEER, SPECIAL INSPECTOR AND BUILDING DEPARTMENT FOR
 RECORDS ONLY.
 THE DELEGATE ENGINEER WHO PREPARES THE SHORING AND
 RESHORING DRAWINGS SHALL INSPECT THE SHORING AND
 RESHORING. HE SHALL PROVIDE A FIELD REPORT OF EACH
 INSPECTION TO THE CONTRACTOR AND ARCHITECT.

 MEANING ANY BUILDING WHICH IS GREATER THAN (3) STORIES
 OR 50 FT. IN HEIGHT, OR WHICH HAS AN ASSEMBLY OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION AS DENIED IN THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE
 WHICH EXCEEDS 5,000 SQ. FT. IN AREA.
  
 2A) COMPLIED. WRITTEN THRESHOLD INSPECTION PLAN.
  
 2B) INFORMATIONAL. NO RESPONSE NECESSARY. 110.8.2. THE
 SPECIAL INSPECTOR SHALL DETERMINE THAT A PROFESSIONAL
 ENGINEER WHO SPECIALIZES IN SHORING DESIGN HAS
 INSPECTED THE SHORING AND RESHORING FOR CONFORMANCE
 WITH THE SHORING AND RESHORING PLANS SUBMITTED TO THE
 ENFORCING AGENCY. A FEE SIMPLE TITLE OWNER OF A
 BUILDING, WHICH DOES NOT MEET THE MINIMUM SIZE, HEIGHT,
 OCCUPANCY, OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION OR
 NUMBER-OF-STORIES CRITERIA WHICH WOULD RESULT IN
 CLASSIFICATION AS A THRESHOLD BUILDING UNDER S. 553
 .71(12), MAY DESIGNATE SUCH BUILDING AS A THRESHOLD
 BUILDING, SUBJECT TO MORE THAN THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF
 INSPECTIONS REQUIRED BY THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE.
  
 2C) INFORMATIONAL. NO RESPONSE NECESSARY. 110.8.3 THE
 FEE OWNER OF A THRESHOLD BUILDING SHALL SELECT AND PAY
 ALL COSTS OF EMPLOYING A SPECIAL INSPECTOR, BUT THE
 SPECIAL INSPECTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE TO THE
 ENFORCEMENT AGENCY. THE INSPECTOR SHALL BE A PERSON
 CERTIFIED, LICENSED OR REGISTERED UNDER CHAPTER 471,
 FLORIDA STATUTES, AS AN ENGINEER OR UNDER CHAPTER 481,
 FLORIDA STATUTES, AS AN ARCHITECT.
  
 2D) 2ND REQUEST, NO THRESHOLD FORMS WERE FILED OUT AND
 RETURNED TO THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT FOR REVIEW. 110.8.4
 EACH ENFORCEMENT AGENCY SHALL REQUIRE THAT, ON EVERY
 THRESHOLD BUILDING:
  
 2D)(1) 2ND REQUEST, NO THRESHOLD FORMS WERE FILED OUT
 AND RETURNED TO THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT FOR REVIEW.
 110.8.4.1 THE SPECIAL INSPECTOR, UPON COMPLETION OF THE
 BUILDING AND PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF A CERTIFICATE OF
 OCCUPANCY, FILE A SIGNED AND SEALED STATEMENT WITH THE
 ENFORCEMENT AGENCY IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE FOLLOWING FORM:
 "TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE AND BELIEF, THE ABOVE
 DESCRIBED CONSTRUCTION OF ALL STRUCTURAL LOAD-BEARING

 RESHORING PLANS SUBMITTED TO THE ENFORCEMENT AGENCY."
  
 2D)(2) 110.8.4.2 ANY PROPOSAL TO INSTALL AN ALTERNATE
 STRUCTURAL PRODUCT OR SYSTEM TO WHICH BUILDING CODES
 APPLY SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO THE ENFORCEMENT AGENCY FOR
 REVIEW FOR COMPLIANCE WITH THE CODES AND MADE PART OF
 THE ENFORCEMENT AGENCY'S RECORDED SET OF PERMIT
 DOCUMENTS.
 2E) BUILDING PROVISO: 110.8.4.3 ALL SHORING AND
 RESHORING PROCEDURES, PLANS AND DETAILS SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED TO THE ENFORCEMENT AGENCY FOR RECORDKEEPING.
 EACH SHORING AND RESHORING INSTALLATION SHALL BE
 SUPERVISED, INSPECTED AND CERTIFIED TO BE IN COMPLIANCE
 WITH THE SHORING DOCUMENTS BY THE CONTRACTOR.
  
 2F) COMPLIED. CHAPTER 633. FLORIDA STATUTES.
  
 2G) 2ND REQUEST, NO THRESHOLD FORMS WERE FILED OUT AND
 RETURNED TO THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT FOR REVIEW.
 110.8.5 NO ENFORCING AGENCY MAY ISSUE A BUILDING PERMIT
 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ANY THRESHOLD BUILDING EXCEPT TO A
 LICENSED GENERAL CONTRACTOR, AS DEFINED IN SECTION
 489.105(3) (A), FLORIDA STATUTES, OR TO A LICENSED
 BUILDING CONTRACTOR, AS DEFINED IN SECTION 489. 105(3)
 (B), FLORIDA STATUTES, WITHIN THE SCOPE OF HER OR HIS
 LICENSE. THE NAMED CONTRACTOR TO WHOM THE BUILDING
 PERMIT IS ISSUED SHALL HAVE THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR
 SUPERVISION, DIRECTION, MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL OF THE
 CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES ON THE
 PROJECT FOR WHICH THE BUILDING PERMIT WAS ISSUED.
  
 2H) 2ND REQUEST, NO THRESHOLD FORMS WERE FILED OUT AND
 RETURNED TO THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT FOR REVIEW. 110.8.6
 THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT MAY ALLOW A SPECIAL INSPECTOR
 TO CONDUCT THE MINIMUM STRUCTURAL INSPECTION OF
 THRESHOLD BUILDINGS REQUIRED BY THIS CODE, SECTION
 553.73, FLORIDA STATUTES, WITHOUT DUPLICATIVE
 INSPECTION BY THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT. THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THAT ANY PERSON
 CONDUCTING INSPECTIONS IS QUALIFIED AS A BUILDING
 INSPECTOR UNDER PART XII OF CHAPTER 468, FLORIDA
 STATUTES, OR CERTIFIED AS A SPECIAL INSPECTOR UNDER
 CHAPTER 471 OR 481, FLORIDA STATUTES. INSPECTIONS OF
 THRESHOLD BUILDINGS REQUIRED BY SECTION 553.79(5),
 FLORIDA STATUTES, ARE IN ADDITION TO THE MINIMUM
 INSPECTIONS REQUIRED BY THIS CODE.
  
 2I) INFORMATIONAL, NO RESPONSE IS NECESSARY. NOTE FOR
 PAPER PLANS 3 SETS OF DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED. FOR
 DIGITAL PLANS, AFTER PERMIT ISSUANCE, PLEASE E-MAIL THE
 PERMIT LIBRARIAN OF THE PERMIT BEING ISSUED, THE PERMIT
 LIBRARIAN WILL THEN E-MAIL YOU THE APPROVED AND BATCH
 STAMPED PLANS SO YOU MAY PRINT YOUR PLANS, TWO SETS OF
 PLANS WILL NEED TO BE PRINTED IN COLOR, (1) FOR THE
 THRESHOLD INSPECTOR, THE OTHER FOR THE MEP INSPECTORS
 OTHER PLANS YOU WISH TO PRINT MAYBE IN BLACK & WHITE?
 2017 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION, 107.1 & THRESHOLD
 BUILDINGS, GUIDELINES AND POLICIES FOR PROJECTS
 CONCERNING SPECIAL INSPECTORS.
  
 2J) 2ND REQUEST, NO THRESHOLD FORMS WERE FILED OUT AND
 RETURNED TO THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT FOR REVIEW. A
 BOOKLET GUIDELINES AND POLICIES FOR PROJECTS CONCERNING
 THRESHOLD/ SPECIAL INSPECTORS AND RESIDENT INSPECTORS
 WILL BE E-MAILED TO YOU WITH THE FORMS FOR THRESHOLD/
 SPECIAL INSPECTOR AGREEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING. THESE
 FORMS WILL NEED TO BE FILED OUT BY ALL INTERESTED
 PARTIES IN TRIPLICATE AND SUBMITTED TO THE BUILDING
 DEPARTMENT BEFORE A PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED.
