 1. THERE ARE DESCREPENCIES BETWEEN THE ELEVATIONS
 BETWEEN THE PRE-CONSTRUCTION AND POST CONSTRUCTION
 ELEVATION CERTIFICATES.
  
 2. DESIGN PROFESSIONAL SHALL ESTABLISH ONE CONVERSION
 FACTOR FOR EACH ELEMENTS ELEVATION.
  
 EX: C2(A) POST CONSTRUCTION ELEVATION IS 6.6 FEET
 NAVD1988. PRE-CONSTRUCTION ELEVATION IS 8.0 FEET NGVD
 1929. THIS RESULTS IN A CONVERSION FACTOR OF 1.4.
 C2(E) POST CONSTRUCTION ELEVATION IS 7.0 FEET NAVD
 1988. PRE-CONSTRUCTION ELEVATION IS 8.0 FEET NGVD 1929.
 THIS RESULTS IN A CONVERSION FACTOR OF 1.0.
  
 PLEASE REVIEW ALL ELEVATIONS ON THE CERTIFICATE AND
 RE-SUBMIT.
  
 NOTE: USING A FLOOD INSURANCE RATE MAP (FIRM) TO
 ESTABLISH THE BASE FLOOD ELEVATION (BFE) CAN RESULT IN
 A .9 FOOT RANGE IN ELEVATION. FIRM'S ROUND UP FROM
 .5FEET AND ROUND DOWN FROM .4 FEET.
 THE MOST ACCURATE WAY OF ESTABLISHING THE BASE FLOOD
 ELEVATION IS TO EXTRAPOLATE THE ELEVATION BETWEEN TWO
 TRANSECT LINES ON A FLOOD INSURANCE STUDY PROFILE.
 (FIS).
 EITHER METHOD MAY BE USED BUT DESIGNER NEEDS TO BE
 AWARE OF THE POTENTIAL DESCREPANCIES IN ELEVATIONS.
