 CODE: FBC 6TH EDITION (2017) AND CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 NOTE: SEC. 801.3 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
  
 1- LIFE SAFETY SHEET ALS1.1:
 A)PROVIDE THE OCCUPANT LOAD ON EACH ROOM OR SPACE. AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 1004.1.1 AND TABLE 1004.1.2
 FBC-BUILDING. FOR EXAMPLE PROVIDE THE OCCUPANT LOAD AT
 PRIVATE DINING #1, PRIVATE DINING #2, BOOTHS, BARS,
 KITCHEN, ETC.
 NOTE: TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION THE AREAS WITHOUT FIXED
 SEATING (SEC. 1004.1.2 FBC) AND AREAS WITH FIXED
 SEATING (SEC. 1004.4 FBC).
  
 B) REVISE TOTAL OCCUPANT LOAD SHOWN UNDER LIFE SAFETY
 REQUIREMENTS ON THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER OF THE SHEET.
 NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS NEED TO BE ROUNDED UP NO DOWN.
 THERE ARE NO HALF OCCUPANTS. FOR EXAMPLE 6.8 OCCUPANTS
 WILL BE 7 OCCUPANTS NO 6. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
 NOTE: COORDINATE WITH ITEM #1(A) ABOVE.
  
 C) THE DIAGONAL DISTANCE OF BUILDING SHOWN ON THE LIFE
 SAFETY PLAN IS INCORRECT. DIAGONAL SHOWN IS TAKEN FROM
 THE EGRESS DOOR TO THE BOTTOM CORNER OF THE SPACE. THE
 DIAGONAL NEED TO BE TAKEN FROM ONE CORNER OF THE SPACE
 TO THE OTHER CORNER OF THE SPACE. SEE SEC. 1007.1.1
 FBC-BUILDING AND REVISE AS REQUIRED.(1/3 DISTANCE SHOWN
 BETWEEN EXITS IS OK)
  
 D) UPDATE ALL THE CODE SECTIONS CITED UNDER THE LIFE
 SAFETY REQUIREMENTS. SEE CURRENT FBC 6TH EDITION (2017)
 AND REVISE AS REQUIRED. CHAPTER 553 F.S.
  
 E) SPECIFY THE BUILDING CONSTRUCTION TYPE AS REQUIRED
 BY SEC. 107.3.5.1.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 F) TENANT SEPARATION NOTE SHOWN UNDER THE LIFE SAFETY
 REQUIREMENTS: CLARIFY WHY NO TENANT SEPARATION IS
 REQUIRED. CLARIFY WHY STATING THAT "ADJACENT TENANT
 SPACES ARE UNOCCUPIED, NO FIRE SEPARATION REQUIRED".
 PROVIDE SECTION SHOWING THAT THIS SEPARATION IS NOT
 REQUIRED. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 2-FLOOR PLAN SHEET A1.1.1:
 A) PROVIDE COMPLETE APPROVED FIRE RATED WALL ASSEMBLY
 DETAIL BASED ON ANY OF THE METHODS ALLOWED BY SEC.
 703.3 FBC-BUILDING (METHODS FOR DETERMINING FIRE
 RESISTANCE) FOR THE TENANT SEPARATION WALL.
 NOTE: COORDINATE WITH ITEM # 1(F) ABOVE.
  
 B)ACCORDING TO CITY RECORDS THE PREVIOUS TENANT
 OCCUPIED THE WHOLE SPACE INCLUDING THE WEST SIDE OF THE
 WORK AREA SHOWN ON PLANS. IT LOOKS LIKE THE SPACE IS
 GOING TO BE SPLIT INTO TWO TENANTS. NEED TO PROVIDE
 DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS SHOWING HOW THE EXISTING
 WALL SEPARATING THE TWO NEW TENANTS IS GOING TO COMPLY
 WITH THE TENANT SEPARATION REQUIREMENTS. SEC. 508.4
 FBC-BUILDING.
  
 C)CLARIFY WHY THE NEW TENANT SEPARATION WALL SEGMENT
 BETWEEN THE NEW KITCHEN AND ADJACENT TENANT SPACE ONLY
 GOES 6" ABOVE THE FINISH CEILING? COORDINATE WITH ITEM
 #2(A) ABOVE.
 SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 D) PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
 ACCESSIBLE DINING SURFACES AT BAR, RAW BAR AND BOOTH
 AREAS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH SEC. 226 FBC
 ACCESSIBILITY.
  
 E) PROVIDE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS SHOWING
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE ACCESS TO EMPLOYEE WORK AREA AT BAR
 AND RAW BAR AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 203.9
 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY.
  
 NOTE: 07/11/19. ITEM #3 BELOW WAS REVISED FOR
 CLARIFICATION AND AFTER TALKING TO ROBERT BROWN
 (BUILDING OFFICIAL).
 3-REFLECTED CEILING PLAN SHEET A1.1.2: CURTAIN ON
 PRIVATE DINING 1 EXCEEDS THE 10% OF THE SPECIFIC WALL
 OR CEILING AREA TO WHICH SUCH MATERIALS ARE ATTACHED.
 REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEC. 806.3 FBC-BUILDING.
 ANOTHER CONCERN IN THIS AREA IS THAT THE EGRESS FROM
 THIS PRIVATE DINING AREA WOULD BE BLOCKED BY THE
 CURTAINS. CURTAINS DON'T QUALIFY FOR EGRESS.
