 REVISED CALCULATIONS SHOW 10 PEOPLE AS THE TOTAL NUMBER
 OF PEOPLE. THIS IS INCORRECT. THE OCCUPANT LOAD IS
 BASED ON THE ACTUAL FUNCTION OF EACH SPACE AS REQUIRED
 BY TABLE 1004.1.2 FBC-BUILDING. PROVIDE THE OCCUPANT
 LOAD OF EACH ROOM OR AREA AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 1004.1.1.1 FBC-BUILDING, THEN ADD THEM UP AND PROVIDE
 THE TOTAL OCCUPANT LOAD.
 NOTE: THE BUSINESS CLASSIFICATION IS JUST FOR THE
 OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION SINCE THIS IS AN SMALL
 ASSEMBLY GROUP WITH AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF LESS THAN 50
 PEOPLE. OCCUPANT LOAD IS ALWAYS CALCULATED USING TABLE
 1004.1.2.
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 3) PLEASE NOTE ON THE COVER SHEET THE DESIGNER OF
 RECORD HAS THE NUMBER OF EXITS REQUIRED AS 1 BUT 2
 PROVIDED AND THE MAXIMUM TRAVEL DISTANCE OF 27 FEET 6
 INCHES. IF THE TRAVEL DISTANCE IS GOING TO BE TAKEN
 FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE FLOOR REQUIRING THE 2 EXITS,
 THEN SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH:
 2017 ACCESS. CODE 206.4.1 PUBLIC ENTRANCES. IN ADDITION

 2003 IBC-B 1007.1 WHERE MORE THAN ONE MEANS OF EGRESS
 IS REQUIRED BY SECTIONS 1014.1 OR 1018.1 FROM ANY
 ACCESSIBLE SPACE, EACH ACCESSIBLE PORTION OF THE SPACE
 SHALL BE SERVED BY NOT LESS THAN TWO MEANS OF EGRESS.
 THERE IS AT LEAST A 6 INCH DROP OUT THE BACK DOOR TO
 THE COURTYARD DECK MAKING IT NOT ABLE TO BE AN
 ACCESSIBLE MEANS OF EGRESS.
  
 RESPONSE:
 A)THE MEASUREMENT OF THE TRAVEL DISTANCE IS TAKEN FROM
 THE MOST REMOTE POINT TO THE ENTRANCE TO AN EXIT. SEE
 SEC. 1017.3 FBC-BUILDING. LIFE SAFETY PLAN ON SHEET A-1
 SHOWS THE DISTANCE FROM THE REAR DOOR TO THE ENTRY
 DOOR. CLARIFY WHY MEASURING THE DISTANCE FROM ONE DOOR
 TO THE OTHER. IT LOOKS LIKE THE MOST REMOTE POINT WOULD
 BE THE FREEZER. REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 B) REVISE THE EGRESS WIDTH INFORMATION SHOWN ON SHEET
 CVR:
 (1)REVISE THE NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS. SEE RESPONSE TO
 COMMENT #2 ABOVE AND REVISE THE EGRESS WIDTH PROVIDED.
 36" PROVIDED IS INCORRECT. THE WIDTH PROVIDED IS THE
 CLEAR WIDTH OPENING NOT THE SIZE OF THE DOOR. SEE SEC.
 1010.1.1 FBC-BUILDING FOR PROPER WAY OF DIMENSIONING
 THE CLEAR WIDTH AND REVISE AS REQUIRED. TYPICALLY A 36"
 DOOR WOULD PROVIDE 32" CLEAR WIDTH OPENING. NOTE:
 PROVIDE THE SIZE OF THE EXISTING DOORS. DORO SCHEDULE
 DOESN'T SPECIFY THE SIZE OF THE EXISTING DOORS. THIS
 INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.

 CONSIDERING ALL OF THE KITCHEN EQUIPMENT THAT IS GOING
 INTO THIS SPACE AND THE REQUIRED GREASE TRAP. 109.3*
 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION.
 IF, IN THE OPINION OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL, THE
 CLAIMED VALUATION OF BUILDING, ALTERATION, STRUCTURE,
 ELECTRICAL, GAS, MECHANICAL, OR PLUMBING SYSTEMS
 APPEARS TO BE UNDER ESTIMATED ON THE APPLICATION, THE

 FREE OF CHARGE. IF THE M-E-P & ROOFING PERMITS COME IN
 LATER THERE WILL BE AN $80.00 ADMINISTRATIVE FEE FOR

 FREEZERS, ALL LOW VOLTAGE PERMITS, GENERATORS & FUEL
 TANKS, GAS PERMIT, POOL, JACUZZI AND ASSOCIATED
 SUB-PERMITS, AWNING, SCREEN ENCLOSURES, CANOPY, FENCE,
 LANDSCAPE, IRRIGATION, AUGER CAST PILE AND OR
 FOUNDATION OR STRUCTURE ONLY PERMIT WILL BE SEPARATE
 REVIEWS AND ASSOCIATED FEES WITH EACH PERMIT.
 PLEASE PROVIDE AN ITEMIZED LIST AND SUBTRACT THESE LINE
 ITEMS AND THEIR VALUE FROM THE OVERALL BUILDING VALUE
 STATED ON THE PERMIT APPLICATION FOR THIS PROJECT. THE
 REMAINING BALANCE WILL BE AFFECTIVELY THE VALUE OF THE

 1011.7.3 ENCLOSURES UNDER INTERIOR STAIRWAYS. THE WALLS
 AND SOFFITS WITHIN ENCLOSED USABLE SPACES UNDER
 ENCLOSED AND UNENCLOSED STAIRWAYS SHALL BE PROTECTED BY
 1-HOUR FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED CONSTRUCTION OR THE
 FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING OF THE STAIRWAY ENCLOSURE,
 WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

 DETAIL PROVIDED ON SHEET A-1 DOESN'T SEEM TO APPLY TO
