 CODE: FBC 6TH EDITION (2017) AND CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 1- PROVIDE ENERGY CALCULATIONS (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED
 BY SEC. 1106 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. AND SEC. R101.4.2
 AND R101.5 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION. NOTE: COORDINATE
 WITH PLANS AND PRODUCT APPROVALS SUBMITTED TO AVOID
 CONFLICTS/DELAYS.
  
 2- PLANS NEED TO PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH THE HEATING
 REQUIREMENTS FOR NEW ROOM AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R303.10
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. (NOTE: MECHANICAL PERMIT MAY BE
 REQUIRED).
  
 3- WALL SECTION 1/7 ON SHEET 7 OF 8:
 A) R-30 BATT INSULATION DOESN'T FIT ON A 2" X 8" ROOF
 RAFTERS. THE THICKNESS OF R-30 BATT INSULATION IS MORE
 OR LESS 9-1/2" THICK. REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEC. 107.2.1
 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 B) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH NEW ROOF CROSS VENTILATION AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. R806.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. NOTE:
 INSULATION CAN NOT BLOCK THE CROSS VENTILATION. SEE
 SEC. R8016.3 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. COORDINATE WITH ITEM
 #3(A) ABOVE.
  
 C) CLARIFY IF THE NEW ROOM IS GOING TO BE AIR
 CONDITIONED. IF SO, THEN PROVIDE DETAILS AND
 SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE INSULATION BETWEEN THE EXISTING
 NON-A/C STORAGE ROOM AND THE NEW ROOM AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. R103.2 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. ALSO, PROVIDE
 SPECIFICATIONS FOR INSULATION ON NEW EXTERIOR WOOD
 FRAMED WALL.
  
 D) SPECIFY RING SHANK NAILS FOR ROOF SHEATHING AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. R803.2.3.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 4- SHEET 6 OF 8 IS MISSING THE ENGINEER' SEAL AS
 REQUIRED BY CHAPTER 471 F.S.
  
 5- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.001 FOR:
 A)FLAT ROOF. AND, CLEARLY MARK WHICH APPROVED ASSEMBLY
 IS GOING TO BE INSTALLED TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 DESIGN PRESSURES OF SEC. R301.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. NOTE:
 IF THE SELECTED ASSEMBLY DOESN'T MEET THE DESIGN
 PRESSURES FOR ALL ROOF ZONES, THEN SIGNED AND SEALED
 RAS 117 CALCULATIONS ARE REQUIRED.
  
 B)FRENCH DOORS. PROVIDE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL COVER
 PAGE AND PROVIDE 2 COPIES OF COMPLETE PRODUCT APPROVAL.
 ONLY ONE COPY WAS SUBMITTED. SEC. 107.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 C)SINGLE HUNG WINDOWS. PROVIDE 2 COPIES. ONLY ONE COPY
 WAS SUBMITTED. SEC. 107.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 6- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 7- PROVIDE COMPLETE WALL SECTION FOR NEW EXTERIOR WOOD
 FRAME WALL : SPECIFY ALL INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR FINISH
 MATERIALS. SPECIFY WALL SHEATHING TYPE AND FASTENERS.
 SPECIFY THE 2 REQUIRED WATER-RESISTIVE BARRIERS AS
 REQUIRED BY SE. R703.7.3 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. IF STUCCO
 FINISH, THEN SPECIFY STUCCO THICKNESS AS REQUIRED BY
 TABLE R702.1(1) FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 8- PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
 SOFFIT CONSTRUCTION SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH THE WIND
 RESISTANCE AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R703.1.2.1
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 9-VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO
 LOW. VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS,
 CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND PROFIT AND DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL FEES AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 109.3 CITY
 AMENDMENTS. VALUATION WAS UPDATED TO $32,964. THE
 PERMIT FEE BALANCE IS $722.20.
  
 PLEASE NOTE THAT SUBMITTAL OF ADDITIONAL AND/OR REVISED
 MATERIALS MAY RESULT IN NEW PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS.
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION &
 REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
