 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) WORK COMPLETED WITHOUT THE BENEFIT OF PERMITS. THE
 SHEET A100 SHOWS THE FRONT ENTRY SET OF DOORS AS A PAIR
 OF INSWING DOORS. THE CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY PERMIT
 10070543 SHOWS THESE DOORS AS OUTSWING DOORS. THERE WAS
 ALSO A MISC. PERMIT FILED UNDER THE ADDRESS OF 339
 WESTMINSTER PL. PERMIT NUMBER 08040046, NOA 07-0522.05
 HARMAN WINDOWS AND DOORS FOR OUTSWING GLAZED WOOD
 FRENCH DOORS, L. M. IMPACT TESTED. PLEASE PROVIDE THE
 PRODUCT TESTING FOR THESE DOORS FOR INSWING USE.
  
 2017 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 801.3 COMPLIANCE.
 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING. CREATION OR EXTENSION
 OF NONCONFORMITY. ALL NEW WORK, RE-CONFIGURATION SHALL
 NOT CREATE OR EXTEND ANY NONCONFORMITY IN THE EXISTING
 BUILDING TO WHICH THE RE-CONFIGURATION OF SPACE IS
 BEING MADE WITH REGARD TO ACCESSIBILITY, STRUCTURAL
 STRENGTH, FIRE SAFETY, OR MEANS OF EGRESS.
  
 2) THE LIFE SAFETY SHEET LS100 UNDER THE HEADING OF
 CONSTRUCTION TYPE LIST THE CONSTRUCTION TYPE AS TYPE 5
 UNSPRINKLERED. PLEASE IDENTIFY IF THE TERM TYPE V
 CONSTRUCTION IS THE TERM USED BEFORE AND IN THE 2001
 FBC WHERE WE HAD TYPE VI CONSTRUCTION OR ARE YOU USING
 THE TERM SINCE IN THE 2004 FBC WHERE THE STRUCTURE IS
 LISTED V-A 1 HOUR PROTECTED OR V-B UNPROTECTED.
 107.2.1.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 3) PLEASE NOTE THAT THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN LS100 SHOWS 3
 EXITS FROM THE BUILDING. ONLY ONE MEANS OF EGRESS IS
 REQUIRED, SINCE THE FRONT ENTRY TO THE FURTHEST POINT
 IN THE BUILDING OFFICE 102 OR THE KITCHEN IS UNDER 50
 FEET. IN THE 2017 FBC-B TABLE 1006.2.1 COMMON PATH OF
 TRAVEL FOR A BUSINESS OCCUPANCY/ UNSPRINKLERED/ AND AN
 OCCUPANT LOAD OF <49 THE COMMON PATH OF TRAVEL IS 75
 FEET.
 SIGNAGE WILL BE REQUIRED AT THE EXITS THAT ARE NOT
 ACCESSIBLE TO WHERE THE ACCESSIBLE EXIT IS LOCATED.
  
 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTIONS: 216.4 MEANS OF
 EGRESS. SIGNS FOR MEANS OF EGRESS SHALL COMPLY WITH
 216.4. 216.4.1 EXIT DOORS. DOORS AT EXIT PASSAGEWAYS,
 EXIT DISCHARGE, AND EXIT STAIRWAYS SHALL BE IDENTIFIED
 BY TACTILE SIGNS COMPLYING WITH 703.1, 703.2, AND
 703.5.
 216.6 ENTRANCES.
  
 WHERE NOT ALL ENTRANCES COMPLY WITH 404, ENTRANCES
 COMPLYING WITH 404 SHALL BE IDENTIFIED BY THE
 INTERNATIONAL SYMBOL OF ACCESSIBILITY COMPLYING WITH
 703.7.2.1. DIRECTIONAL SIGNS COMPLYING WITH 703.5 THAT
 INDICATE THE LOCATION OF THE NEAREST ENTRANCE COMPLYING
 WITH 404 SHALL BE PROVIDED AT ENTRANCES THAT DO NOT
 COMPLY WITH 404.
  
 4) SHEET D100 INDICATES WITH NOTES 13 & 14 THE REMOVAL
 OF THE CHIMNEY, ROOF TILE, PLYWOOD AND ROTTEN WOOD
 TRUSSES, REPLACE AS NECESSARY. PLEASE NOTE COMPLIANCE
 WITH THE 2017 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING CODE SECTION
 706.1.1. NOT MORE THAN 25 PERCENT OF THE TOTAL ROOF
 AREA OR ROOF SECTION OF ANY EXISTING BUILDING OR
 STRUCTURE SHALL BE REPAIRED, REPLACED OR RECOVERED IN
 ANY 12-MONTH PERIOD UNLESS THE ENTIRE EXISTING ROOFING
 SYSTEM OR ROOF SECTION IS REPLACED TO CONFORM TO
 REQUIREMENTS OF THIS CODE.
  
 5A) SHEET D100 INDICATES UNDER THE EXISTING BUILDING
 CODE A LEVEL 2 ALTERATION IS BEING DECLARED. PLEASE
 REVIEW THE CLASSIFICATION OF WORK FOR A LEVEL 3
 ALTERATION, IT WOULD APPEAR THAT YOU HAVE MET THAT
 THRESHOLD. EXISTING BUILDING CODE 505.2 APPLICATION.
 LEVEL 3 ALTERATIONS SHALL COMPLY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF
 CHAPTERS 7 AND 8 FOR LEVEL 1 AND 2 ALTERATIONS,
 RESPECTIVELY, AS WELL AS THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 9.
  
 5B) PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE EXISTING BUILDING
 CODE SECTION 907.4.2 SUBSTANTIAL STRUCTURAL ALTERATION.
 WHERE MORE THAN 30 PERCENT OF THE TOTAL FLOOR AND ROOF
 AREAS OF THE BUILDING OR STRUCTURE HAVE BEEN OR ARE
 PROPOSED TO BE INVOLVED IN STRUCTURAL ALTERATION WITHIN
 A 5-YEAR PERIOD, THE EVALUATION AND ANALYSIS SHALL
 DEMONSTRATE THAT THE LATERAL LOAD-RESISTING SYSTEM OF

 (D) ROOFING PRODUCTS AND ASSEMBLIES.
  
 6B) W. P. B. 107.3.4. PRODUCT APPROVALS. THOSE PRODUCTS
 WHICH ARE REGULATED BY FLORIDA ADMINISTRATIVE CODE RULE
 61G20 SHALL BE REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR
 JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
 FL 61G1-23.015 (2) THE ARCHITECT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
 SUPERVISING AND REVIEWING ALL PROJECT DATA, REPORTS,
 SHOP DRAWINGS ETC..
  
  
 6C) IDENTIFY GLAZING/ MULLIONS. PLEASE IDENTIFY ON THE
 PRODUCT APPROVAL BEFORE SUBMITTING TO DESIGNER OF
 RECORD AND BEFORE SUBMISSION TO THE BUILDING
 DEPARTMENT. FOR ALL PRODUCTS WITH GLAZING, PLEASE
 IDENTIFY THE OPENING WIDTH & HEIGHT, TYPE OF GLAZING,
 MULLION SIZE, LENGTH IF UNREINFORCED OR REINFORCED
 INFORMATION IF REQUIRED, ATTACHMENTS AND ASSOCIATE
 PRESSURES FOR EACH OPENING SIZE. 2014 FBC-B 1405.13.1
 INSTALLATION. WINDOWS AND DOORS SHALL BE INSTALLED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH APPROVED MANUFACTURER?S INSTRUCTIONS.
 FASTENER SIZE AND SPACING SHALL BE PROVIDED IN SUCH
 INSTRUCTIONS AND SHALL BE CALCULATED BASED ON MAXIMUM
 LOADS AND SPACING USED IN THE TESTS.
  
 6D) THRESHOLDS. 2017 ACCESS. CODE 404.2.5. THRESHOLDS,
 IF PROVIDED AT DOORWAYS, SHALL BE 1/2 INCH HIGH
 MAXIMUM. RAISED THRESHOLDS AND CHANGES IN LEVEL AT
 DOORWAYS SHALL COMPLY WITH 302 AND 303.
  
 7) SHEET A-101 THE FLOOR PLAN AND SHEET A-500 THE DOOR
 SCHEDULE WILL NEED TO MEET THE REQUIREMENT OF THE 2017
 FBC-B SECTION 1010.1.1 SIZE OF DOORS. THE REQUIRED
 CAPACITY OF EACH DOOR OPENING SHALL BE SUFFICIENT FOR
 THE OCCUPANT LOAD THEREOF AND SHALL PROVIDE A MINIMUM
 CLEAR WIDTH OF 32 INCHES. CLEAR OPENINGS OF DOORWAYS
 WITH SWINGING DOORS SHALL BE MEASURED BETWEEN THE FACE
 OF THE DOOR AND THE STOP, WITH THE DOOR OPEN 90
 DEGREES. THE DOORS IDENTIFIED AS 102, 108 & 110 DO NOT
 MEET THIS REQUIREMENT.
  
 8) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
