 LOCAL ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES FOR PLANS REVIEW FOR
 PERMITTING PURPOSES RELATING TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 WIND-RESISTANCE PROVISIONS OF THE CODE OR ALTERNATE
 METHODOLOGIES APPROVED BY THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 COMMISSION FOR ONE AND TWO-FAMILY DWELLINGS. LOCAL
 ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES MAY RELY UPON SUCH CERTIFICATION
 BY CONTRACTORS THAT THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS

 4) THE SECOND ISSUE WITH THE SUBMITTED DOCUMENT
 ILLUSTRATION CHAUDRIC IS THAT IT DOES NOT PROVIDE WHERE
 THIS UNIT IS COMPARED WITH THE OVERALL CONFIGURATION OF
 THE BUILDING IF THE UNIT IS TO BE CONSIDERED AS AN
 INTERIOR ZONE (4) OR AN END ZONE (5). 107.2.1.2
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 5) THE WINDOW AND DOOR SCHEDULE INDICATES THE OPENING
 SIZE OF THE OVERALL OPENING SIZE BUT NOT THE PANEL
 SIZE, EXAMPLE THE SUBMITTED NOA EGS INTERNATIONAL
 ALUMINUM SLIDING DOORS L.M.I. 17-1218.22 ON PAGE 5 OF
 11 NO ONE HAS IDENTIFIED THE PANEL WIDTH, HEIGHT, TYPE
 OF GLAZING, IF REINFORCEMENT IS REQUIRED OR NOT, NOR
 THE SILL HEIGHT WHICH LIMITS THE ALLOWABLE PSF.
 107.2.1.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 6) THE SUBMITTED MIAMI-DADE NOA 17-0731.06 HAS THE SAME
 PROBLEM. NO ONE HAS IDENTIFIED THE OVERALL WINDOW
 HEIGHT, WIDTH, AND TYPE OF GLASS NOR THE ASSOCIATED
 PRESSURES. NOTE THIS REPORT DOES REQUIRE A SEPARATE
 MIAMI-DADE NOA FOR MULTIPLE USE OF WINDOWS WITHIN THE
 SAME OPENING. PAGE 7 OF 9 IN THE REPORT INDICATES THE
 TYPE OF FASTENERS, BUCKS AND SPACING, AGAIN NO ONE HAS
 TAKEN RESPONSIBILITY FOR IDENTIFYING THE TYPE OF
 FASTENER. 107.2.1.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 7) THE SUBMITTED MIAMI-DADE NOA 17-0717.02 FOR MULLIONS
 IS A 22 PAGE REPORT. AGAIN AS IN THE LAST 2 COMMENTS,
 NO ONE HAS TAKEN THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE TRIBUTARY
 AREA THE MULLION IS GOING TO CARRY, THE PRESSURES,
 MULLION CONFIGURATION, TYPE OF ANCHORS, IF THE MULLION
 IS TO REQUIRE REINFORCEMENT OR NOT. . 107.2.1.2
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 8) PLEASE NOTE THAT WHEN THIS BUILDING WAS BUILT IT WAS
 COMMON TO INSTALL BEVELED WINDOW AND DOOR BUCKS. THE
 CODE DOES NOT ALLOW THAT ANYMORE. PLEASE PROVIDE A BUCK
 DETAIL AND ANCHORING SCHEDULE FOR BOTH THE WINDOWS AND
 SLIDING GLASS DOORS. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2017
 FBC-B SECTION:
 1703.4.1 RESEARCH AND INVESTIGATION. SUFFICIENT
 TECHNICAL DATA SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL TO SUBSTANTIATE THE PROPOSED USE OF ANY
 PRODUCT, MATERIAL OR ASSEMBLY. IF IT IS DETERMINED THAT
 THE EVIDENCE SUBMITTED IS SATISFACTORY PROOF OF
 PERFORMANCE FOR THE USE INTENDED, THE BUILDING OFFICIAL
 SHALL APPROVE THE USE OF THE PRODUCT, MATERIAL OR
 ASSEMBLY SUBJECT TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS CODE. THE
 COSTS, REPORTS AND INVESTIGATIONS REQUIRED UNDER THESE
 PROVISIONS SHALL BE PAID BY THE OWNER OR THE OWNER?S
 AUTHORIZED AGENT.
  
 9) A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW
 COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION
 MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE
 THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR
 PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED COOPERATION.
 A THOROUGH REVIEW OF THE PLANS COULD NOT HAPPEN SINCE
 THERE WAS A GREAT DEFICIENCY IN PLANS AND REQUIRED
 DOCUMENTATION. WITH THE NEXT PLAN REVIEW CYCLE THERE
 MAYBE ADDITIONAL REVIEW COMMENTS BECAUSE OF NEW PLANS
 AND INFORMATION LACKING UNDER THE PRIOR REVIEW.
