 GAUGE SUMMIT ASHRAE 90.1 ENERGY COST BUDGET OPTION OF
 CODE COMPLIANCE FOR ENERGY. THE QUESTION THAT I HAVE IS
 ON THE INPUT DATA REPORT PAGE 2 FOR THE EXTERIOR WALLS
 THE REPORT SHOWS WIDTH AND HEIGHT (EFFECTIVE) OF THE
 WALLS. THE QUESTION IS THE HEIGHT OF THE WALL IS GIVEN
 AT 9 FEET AND ON SHEET A-220 ALL OF THE DETAILS SHOW
 THE EXTERIOR WALL INSULATION GOING UP TO 9 FEET THE
 HEIGHT OF THE DROPPED CEILING, WHEREAS THE ROOF TOP
 INSULATION IS GIVEN AT A HEIGHT OF 12 FOOT 3 INCHES.
 PLEASE PROVIDE WHY THE EXTERIOR WALL INSULATION OR THE
 EXTERIOR SOFFIT AND FACIA WOULD NEED TO COMPLETE THE
 INSULATION TO THE ROOF LINE, TO MAKE A COMPLETE

 ROOF LINE IN DETAIL 1 IN THE END VIEW OF THE ROOF IT
 APPEARS THAT THERE IS 2 EMERGENCY OVERFLOW SCUPPERS
 THAT WILL BE NO LONGER EFFECTIVE SINCE THE NEW ROOF
 LINE IS HIGHER? HOW OR WHERE WILL THE EMERGENCY
 OVERFLOWS BE LOCATED IN THE EXISTING ROOF?
  
 2017 FBC-B 1503.4.1 SECONDARY (EMERGENCY OVERFLOW)
 DRAINS OR SCUPPERS. WHERE ROOF DRAINS ARE REQUIRED,
 SECONDARY (EMERGENCY OVERFLOW) ROOF DRAINS OR SCUPPERS
 SHALL BE PROVIDED WHERE THE ROOF PERIMETER CONSTRUCTION
 EXTENDS ABOVE THE ROOF IN SUCH A MANNER THAT WATER WILL
