 CODE: FBC 6TH EDITION (2017) AND CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 1- UNDER THE 2017 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING CODE, THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD HAS NOT LISTED WHICH METHOD THE
 PLANS WERE CREATED. 2017 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING CODE
 SECTION 301.1. THE ALTERATION, CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY,
 ADDITION OR RELOCATION OF ALL EXISTING BUILDINGS SHALL
 COMPLY WITH ONE OF THE METHODS LISTED IN SECTIONS
 301.1.1 THROUGH 301.1.3 AS SELECTED BY THE APPLICANT.
 SECTIONS 301.1.1 THROUGH 301.1.3 SHALL NOT BE APPLIED
 IN COMBINATION WITH EACH OTHER.
  
 2- A) BASED ON FLOOR PLANS SUBMITTED, THERE IS ONLY ONE
 COMPLAINT EXIT FROM THIS STORY. SPIRAL STAIRS ARE NO
 CONSIDERED A COMPLAINT EXIT. BASED ON THE EGRESS TRAVEL
 DISTANCE, THIS OCCUPANCY IS REQUIRED TO HAVE 2 EXITS.
 SEE SEC. 801.3 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING AND SEC. 1006.3.1
 FBC. REVISE PLANS AS REQUIRED.
  
 NOTE: ARCHITECT MAY CONTACT ME IF THERE ARE ANY

 B)PROVIDE LIFE SAFETY PLAN SHOWING THE EXIT ACCESS
 TRAVEL DISTANCE. SEE SEC. 1017.3 FBC.
  
 3- PROJECT DATA ON SHEET AO DOESN'T SPECIFY IF THIS
 BUILDING IS SPRINKLERED OR NOT. SEC. 107.3.5.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 4- THERE ARE MANY BUILDINGS IN THIS PROPERTY. PROVIDE
 PLOT PLAN SHOWING LOCATION OF BUILDING WHERE WORK IS
 TAKEN PLACE. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 5- REVISE OCCUPANCY LOADS INFORMATION ON SHEET A0:
 A) THIS BUILDING DOESN'T SEEM TO BE U-GROUP U (UTILITY
 AND MISCELLANEOUS) OCCUPANCY. SEE SEC. 312 FBC AND
 REVISE AS REQUIRED. THERE ARE NOT OFFICES IN UTILITY
 GROUPS. CLEARLY SPECIFY THE OCCUPANCY FOR THE FIRST AND
 SECOND FLOOR. CLARIFY IF THERE IS ANY MIXED
 OCCUPANCIES.
  
 B) REVISE OCCUPANT LOAD CALCULATIONS. SEE TABLE
 1004.1.2 FBC. TYPICALLY, CONFERENCE AREAS ARE
 CONSIDERED AS ASSEMBLY GROUP WITH UNCONCENTRATED TABLES
 AND CHAIRS AND SQUARE FOOTAGE OF 15 NET IS CONSIDERED
 FOR THE OCCUPANT LOAD.
  
 6- IT LOOKS LIKE NEW CONFERENCE AREA ARE BLOCKING THE
 CONTINUITY OF THE MEANS OF EGRESS PATH. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED. SEC. 1005.4 FBC.
  
 7- SPECIFY DIMENSION BETWEEN NEW OFFICES AND EXISTING
 STAIR "04" TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH MANEUVERING AT
 DOORS SEC. FIGURE 404.2.4.1 FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY CODE.
  
 8- VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION SEEMS
 TO BE LOW BASED ON ALL THE SCOPE OF WORK SHOWN ON
 PLANS. VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS,
 CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND PROFIT AND ALL DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL FEES AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 109.3 CITY
 AMENDMENTS. REVISE AS REQUIRED OR PROVIDE COPIES OF
 SIGNED CONTRACTS FOR BUILDING OFFICIAL APPROVAL.
  
 9-WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
