 CODE: FBC 6TH EDITION (2017) AND CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 NOTE:
 BUILDING REVIEW MAY BE APPROVED WITH PROVISO. PROVISO
 MEANS CONTRACTOR WILL SUBMIT REQUIRED INFORMATION AFTER
 THE PERMIT IS ISSUED BUT BEFORE INSPECTIONS TO AVOID
 CONFLICTS/DELAYS. REVISION FEES APPLY. CONTRACTOR TO
 ADVICE IF PROVISO OPTION IS PREFERRED AT THIS TIME OR
 IF RE-SUBMITTING REQUIRED INFORMATION BEFORE PERMIT
 ISSUANCE.

 NOTES 1 THRU 3 STATES THAT THE WATER PLANT WILL
 INITIATE OPERATIONAL CONTROLS TO LIMIT STORAGE OF
 GALLONS IN THE CONTAINMENT AREAS UNTIL MODIFICATIONS TO
 THE CONTAINMENT AREAS CAN BE DESIGNED, PERMITTED AND
 INSTALLED. PLEASE PROVIDE LETTER FROM WATER TREATMENT
 PLANT DIRECTOR ACKNOWLEDGING THAT THE OPERATING
 CONTROLS SPECIFIED BY THE ENGINEER WILL BE INITIATED.
 THIS LETTER OF ACKNOWLEDGMENT IS REQUESTED FOR CITY
 FILE TO MAKE SURE THE QUANTITIES OF THE HAZARDOUS
 MATERIALS IN THE CONTAINMENT AREAS WILL NOT EXCEED THE
 QUANTITIES STATED BY THE ENGINEER OF RECORD AND TABLE
 307.1(2) FBC-BUILDING. OTHERWISE, THE BUILDING WILL BE
 CONSIDERED HIGH HAZARD GROUP H-4 AND MIXED OCCUPANCIES
 WILL NOT ALLOWED AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS WILL
 APPLY.

 11- REPEAT COMMENT. REVISE THE STRUCTURAL DESIGN
 CRITERIA & CODES INFORMATION ON SHEET A4.0.
 (A) THIS IS AN ESSENTIAL FACILITY, THEN THE ULTIMATE
 DESIGN WIND SPEED IS 180 NOT 170. SEE FIGURE 1609.3(2)
 FBC AND CITY AMENDMENTS SEC. 120 CITY AMENDMENTS. NOTE:
 THIS BUILDING IS IN EXPOSURE D NOT C. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED.
  
 (B) REVISE THE DOORS DESIGN PRESSURES TO CORRESPOND TO
 THE REVISION REQUIRED ABOVE.
  
 (C) REVISE THE REFERENCED ASCE-7. THE CORRECT REFERENCE
 IS THE ASCE 7-10 NOT ASCE 7-16. REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 12- REPEAT COMMENT. ALL EXIT DOORS NEED TO HAVE PANIC
 HARDWARE AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 1010.1.10 FBC. REVISE DOOR
 HARDWARE SCHEDULE AS REQUIRED (INCLUDING THE EXISTING
 DOOR E1). THERE ARE NOT SPECIFICATIONS FOR PANIC
 HARDWARE ON EXISTING DOOR E1. PLEAE PROVIDE
 INFORMATION.
  
 13- 16 OK
  
 17- WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE
 REVISION & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES
 AS NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
 COOPERATION.
  
 PLEASE NOTE THAT SUBMITTAL OF ADDITIONAL AND/OR REVISED
 MATERIALS MAY RESULT IN NEW PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS.
