 CODE: FBC 6TH EDITION (2017) AND CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 NOTE: SEC. 801.3 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
  
 1- SHEET S-01:
 A) PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR ONE
 HOUR FIRE RATED FLOOR ASSEMBLY SEPARATING DUPLEX A AND
 B.
 SEC. 801.3 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING AND SEC. R302.3
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 B) CLARIFY WHY PROVIDING ONE HOUR FIRE RATED DEMISING
 PARTITION ON THESE SHEET. THERE ARE NO DEMISING
 PARTITIONS BETWEEN DWELLING UNITS. THE REQUIRED FIRE
 RATING SEPARATION IS LOCATED ON THE FLOOR/CEILING
 ASSEMBLY. COORDINATE WITH ITEM #1(A) ABOVE. PROVIDE
 WALL DETAIL/SPECIFICATIONS THAT SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH
 THE FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLY PENETRATIONS AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. R302.4 FBC_RESIDENTIAL.
  
 2- ROOF TRUSS REPAIR DETAILS ON SHEET S-02 ARE
 INCOMPLETE. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
 A)SPECIFY NAIL TYPE AND HOW LONG ARE THE 2X4'S THAT ARE
 SISTERED TO THE TRUSSES.
 B) SPECIFY WHICH CONNECTOR IS GOING TO BE USED FOR THE
 ROOF TO WALL CONNECTION.
  
 3- FLAT ROOF REPAIR DETAIL ON SHEET S-02 IS NOT CLEAR
 AND DOESN'T MATCH FRAMING PLAN SHOWN ON SAME SHEET.
 REVISE AS REQUIRED TO MATCH. ALSO, WHERE IS DETAIL 3
 S-01? SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 4- DOORS AND WINDOWS CALCULATED DESIGN PRESSURES SHOWN
 ON SHEET A-01 ARE THE SAME FOR ALL OPENINGS. DESIGN
 PRESSURES SEEM TOO LOW FOR SOME OPENINGS. BASED ON THE
 ACTUAL OPENING EFFECTIVE AREA, WALL ZONE AND MEAN ROOF
 HEIGHT. PROVIDE THE ACTUAL DESIGN PRESSURES FOR EACH
 OPENING OR PROVIDE CALCULATIONS FOR WORST CASED
 SCENARIO THAT WILL COVER ALL OPENINGS.
 SEC. R301.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 5- WINDOW REPLACEMENT :
 A)CLEARLY SPECIFY TYPE AND SIZE OF EXISTING WINDOWS AND
 TYPE AND SIZE OF PROPOSED WINDOWS TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE
 WITH THE EGRESS REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. 702.5 FBC-EXISTING
 BUILDING.
 NOTE: NEED TO VERIFY MANUFACTURER'S LARGEST STANDARD
 SIZE WINDOW THAT WILL FIT WITHIN THE EXISTING FRAME OR
 EXISTING ROUGH OPENING AND THAT WILL NOT REDUCE THE
 EGRESS SIZE OPENING OF EXISTING WINDOW AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. 702.5.
  
 B) SECOND FLOOR WINDOW OPENING CONTROL DEVICES: WINDOW
 OPENING CONTROL DEVICES IN WINDOW REPLACEMENT ARE
 REQUIRED WHEN THE TOP SILL OF THE WINDOW OPENING IS AT
 A HEIGHT LESS THAN 24 INCHES (610 MM) ABOVE THE
 FINISHED FLOOR. CLEARLY SPECIFY IF THERE ARE ANY
 WINDOWS WHERE THE WINDOW SILL IS LESS THAN 24" ABOVE
 THE FINISH FLOOR.
 SEC. 702.4 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
  
 6- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.001 FOR:
 (NOTE: THIS MAY BE SUBMITTED LATER AS A DEFERRED
 SUBMITTAL)
  
 A) EXTERIOR DOORS AS SHOWN ON PLANS. NOTE: PROVIDE
 FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL COVER PAGE THAT CORRESPOND TO
 DRAWINGS MA-FL0211-17 SUBMITTED.
  
 B) WINDOW MULLIONS AS SHOWN ON PLANS. REQUIRED: CLEARLY
 SPECIFY MULLION SIZE TO BE USED TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE
 WITH THE CALCULATED DESIGN PRESSURES.
  
 C) FLAT ROOF NOA 16-0517.08. PROVIDE SIGNED AND SEALED
 RAS 117 CALCULATIONS AS REQUIRED BY GENERAL LIMITATION
 #7 ON LAST PAGE OF NOA TO MEET THE DESIGN PRESSURES AT
 ALL ROOF ZONES.
 SEC. R301.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 PLEASE NOTE THAT SUBMITTAL OF ADDITIONAL AND/OR REVISED
 MATERIALS MAY RESULT IN NEW PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS.
 WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A RESPONSE
 LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE CITY
 RE-SUBMITTAL FORM. PLEASE, ADDITIONALLY, INSERT
 CORRECTED PAGES INTO TO SUBMITTAL AND REMOVE/VOID THE
 PREVIOUSLY REVIEWED SHEETS.
 PLEASE DON'T STAPLE OLD DRAWINGS. SUBMIT OLD DRAWINGS
