 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) SHEET 003GSA-ALS1.1: THE LIFE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
 STATE THIS BUILDING IS A TYPE VB (SPRINKLERED
 BUILDING). THE PLANS INDICATE THIS OFFICE IS ON THE 5TH
 FLOOR BUT NOT THE HEIGHT OF THE BUILDING.
  
 1A) THE PLANS DO NOT INDICATE COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2017
 FBC-B TABLE 504.3 ALLOWABLE BUILDING HEIGHT IN FEET
 ABOVE THE GRADE PLANE.
  
 1B) THE PLANS INDICATE THE CONSTRUCTION TYPE TO BE VB
 SPRINKLERED AND THE OFFICE ON THE 5TH FLOOR. PALM BEACH
 COUNTY GIS SITE SHOWS THIS BUILDING AS A 6 STORY
 BUILDING. PLEASE REVIEW THE CONSTRUCTION TYPE AND
 ALLOWABLE STORIES FOR A BUSINESS OCCUPANCY PER 2017
 FBC-B TABLE 504.4 ALLOWABLE NUMBER OF STORIES ABOVE THE
 GRADE PLANE.
  
 1C) THE PLANS INDICATE THE CONSTRUCTION TYPE AS A V-B
 SPRINKLERED BUILDING. PLEASE NOTE THE 2017 FBC-B TABLE
 504.4 INDICATES THE MINIMUM BUILDING TYPE FOR A
 BUSINESS OCCUPANCY IN A 6 STORY BUILDING WOULD BE TYPE
 II-A SPRINKLERED BUILDING. PLEASE UPDATE THE HOURLY
 RATINGS ON THE EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR BEARING WALLS,
 COLUMNS, & FLOORS. PLEASE NOTE ANY FLOOR PENETRATIONS
 WILL HAVE TO HAVE THE SAME HOURLY PROTECTION AS THE
 FLOOR ASSEMBLY. SEE FBC-B 714.5.1. THROUGH
 PENETRATIONS.
  
 1D) UNDER THE HEADING CLASSIFICATION OF WORK THE PLANS
 STATE THAT A LEVEL III ALTERATION IS TAKING PLACE PER
 SECTION 505 OF THE 2017 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. PLEASE
 NOTE UNDER THE 2017 EXISTING BUILDING CODE SECTION
 505.1SCOPE. LEVEL 3 ALTERATIONS APPLY WHERE THE WORK
 AREA EXCEEDS 50 PERCENT OF THE BUILDING AREA. PLEASE
 NOTE BUILDING AREA NOT FLOOR.
  
 2) SHEET 005-GSA-A1.1.1:
  
 2A) DOORWAY 530 PLEASE PROVIDE THE DIMENSION OF THE
 HALLWAY AND THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE LATCH SIDE OF THE
 DOOR AND ADJOINING WALL IT APPEARS NOT TO COMPLY WITH
 2017 FBC-ACCESS. CODE MANEUVERING CLEARANCES. DOORS.
 MINIMUM MANEUVERING CLEARANCES AT DOORS AND GATES SHALL
 COMPLY WITH 404.2.4. MANEUVERING CLEARANCES SHALL
 EXTEND THE FULL WIDTH OF THE DOORWAY AND THE REQUIRED
 LATCH SIDE FOR SIDE CLEARANCE.
  
 2B) THE PLANS INDICATE 2 HOLDING CELLS 526 & 527. NOTE
 # 6 INDICATES THESE CELLS CONTAIN A ADA COMPLIANT
 COMBINATION STAINLESS STEEL LAVATORY AND WATER CLOSET.
 PLEASE PROVIDE SPECS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH:
 2017 FBC ACCESS. CODE
 807.2.4 TOILET AND BATHING FACILITIES. TOILET
 FACILITIES OR BATHING FACILITIES THAT ARE PROVIDED AS
 PART OF A CELL SHALL COMPLY WITH 603. WHERE PROVIDED,
 NO FEWER THAN ONE WATER CLOSET, ONE LAVATORY, AND ONE
 BATHTUB OR SHOWER SHALL COMPLY WITH THE APPLICABLE
 REQUIREMENTS OF 603 THROUGH 610.
  
 ADVISORY 807.2.4 TOILET AND BATHING FACILITIES. IN
 HOLDING CELLS, HOUSING CELLS, OR ROOMS REQUIRED TO BE
 ACCESSIBLE, THESE REQUIREMENTS DO NOT REQUIRE A
 SEPARATE TOILET ROOM.
  
 2C) PLEASE NOTE SHEET 003GSA-ALS1.1 UNDER THE HEADING
 INDICATED THIS TENANT SPACE AS A BUSINESS OCCUPANCY
 WITH A FLOOR AREA OF 10,063 SQ. FT. PLEASE NOTE THE
 COMBINED SQ. FEET AREA OF THE CONFERENCE ROOM 634 SQ.
 FT. THE FITNESS ROOM 638 SQ. FT. AND BREAK ROOM 250 SQ.
 FT. TOTAL APPROXIMATELY 1,522 SQ. FEET OR OVER THE
 ALLOWABLE AREA (10% OF THE FLOOR PLATE) TO BE
 CONSIDERED AGGREGATE ACCESSORY OCCUPANCIES. SEE 2017
 FBC-B 508.2.3. THE DESIGNER WILL NEED TO DECLARE IF THE
 DESIGN INTENT WAS TO COMPLY WITH FBC-B 508.3
 NONSEPARATED OCCUPANCIES OR 508.3.3 WITH SEPARATION.
 PLEASE ALSO REVIEW FOR STORAGE OCCUPANCY, WITH THE
 EVIDENCE ROOM BULK STORAGE ADMIN. FILE STORAGE, SUPPLY
 STORAGE, WEAPONS, TECH STORAGE AND LOCKERS WILL ALSO BE
 CONSIDERED A SEPARATE STORAGE OCCUPANCY.
  
 3) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
