 PLEASE PROVIDE WRITTEN RESPONSES.
  
 1) REPEAT COMMENT: THE MECHANICAL PLANS INDICATE THAT
 RTU 3-8 ARE NEW INSTALLATIONS. PLEASE PROVIDE
 VERIFICATION THAT THE NEW RTU'S (INCLUDING CURB HEIGHT)
 CONFORM TO THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENT OF THE SEDONA
 COMMONS DEVELOPMENT ORDER - "ALL GROUND AND ROOF
 MOUNTED AIR CONDITIONING, MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT,
 SATELLITE DISHES, GENERATORS, ETC., SHALL BE SCREENED
 FROM VIEW ON ALL SIDES BY A VISUALLY OPAQUE BARRIER
 CONSISTENT WITH THE COLOR, CHARACTER AND ARCHITECTURAL
 STYLE OF THE STRUCTURES OR EQUIVALENT LANDSCAPE
 MATERIAL. THE HEIGHT OF THE OPAQUE BARRIER SHALL BE AS
 REQUIRED TO PROVIDE AMPLE SCREENING". VERIFICATION IS
 PROVIDED VIA SIGHT LINE OR SIMILAR METHODS. STATING
 THAT THE EQUIPMENT WILL BE SCREENED IS NOT SUFFICIENT.
  
 3) THE RESUBMITTED PLANS SHOW TWO DRINKING FOUNTAIN
 LOCATIONS ON THE WEST EXTERIOR OF THE BUILDING ARE
 SHOWN IN REQUIRED LANDSCAPE BEDS. YOU MAY NOT REMOVE
 THE REQUIRED LANDSCAPE ALONG THE BUILDING. ANY PROPOSED
 DRINKING FOUNTAINS MUST BE INSTALLED AS LOCATIONS THAT
 DO NOT REMOVE LANDSCAPE.
  
 4) THE RESUBMITTED PLANS SHOW PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT AND
 PERMANENT UMBRELLAS WITHIN THE VARIUS UTILITY EASEMETS.
 THE PERMIT FOR THESE FEATURES MUST INCLUDE APPROVAL
 FROM ALL THE EASEMENT HOLDERS THAT THEY WILL PERMIT THE
 EQUIPMENT WITHIN THE EASEMENT.
  
 5) REPEAT COMMENT: THE FOLLOWING SEPARATE BUILDING
 PERMITS ARE REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED PRIOR TO ZONING
 APPROVAL OF THIS PERMIT:
  
 A. A BICYCLE RACK/PAD PERMIT. THIS PERMIT MUST SHOW THE
 CORRECT NUMBER AND TYPE OF BICYCLE RACKS AND THE
 ACCURATE DIMENSIONS FOR THE PADS AND THE RACKS ON THE
 PADS. PLEASE NOT THAT THE CURRENTLY PROPOSED BICYCLE
 RACK LOCATION DIRECTLY CONFLICTS WITH AN EXISTING OAK
 TREE AND MUST BE SHOWN IN A DIFFERENT LOCATION.
  
 B. A HARDSCAPE PERMIT. THIS PERMIT MUST INCLUDE THE
 DETAILS OF AND DEMARCATE THE BOUNDARIES OF THE
 "PERMA-GRASS". PLEASE REMEMBER THAT NONE OF THE
 EXISTING LANDSCAPE ADJACENT TO THE BUILDING MAY BE
 REMOVED AS PART OF THIS APPLICATION. THE EXISTING
 LANDSCAPE MAY NOT BE REMOVED SINCE IT IS THE REQUIRED
 LANDSCAPE BUFFER AND FOUNDATION PLANTING. THIS PERMIT
 MUST INCLUDE CALCULATIONS TO VERIFY THAT THE SOD BEING
 REMOVED FOR THE PLAY AREA DOES NOT REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF
 LANDSCAPE ON THE SITE BELOW THE MINIMUM 15%
 REQUIREMENT. THE RESUBMITTED PLANS SHOW FOUNDATION
 LANDSCAPE (AND POSSIBLY A TREE) REMOVED ON THE SOUTH
 SIDE OF THE BUILDING. THE HARDSCAPE PERMIT MUST INCLUDE
 GRAPHIC VERIFICATION THAT NO LANDSCAPE ADJACENT TO THE
 BUILDING IS BEING REMOVED WITH THIS APPLICATION.
  
 6) REPEAT COMMENT: PRIOR TO THE CERTIFICATE OF
 COMPLETION/OCCUPANCY FOR THE DAY CARE, A FENCE PERMIT
 IS REQUIRED FOR ALL THE FENCES AND GATES.
  
 7) REPEAT COMMENT: PRIOR TO THE CERTIFICATE OF
 COMPLETION/OCCUPANCY FOR THE DAY CARE, A PARKING LOT
 STRIPING PERMIT IS REQUIRED FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THE
 DROP OFF SPACES.
  
 5) REPEAT COMMENT: PRIOR TO THE CERTIFICATE OF
 COMPLETION/OCCUPANCY FOR THE DAY CARE, A MINOR
 AMENDMENT MUST BE SUBMITTED TO AND APPROVED BY THE
 PLANNING DIVISION FOR THE CHANGES TO THE EXTERIOR OF
 THE SITE (FENCES, RELOCATED BICYCLE RACK, RELOCATED
 DROP OFF SPACES, ETC.).
