 1. A002, FBC B 1004, 100 SF PER OCCUPANT IS SHOWN FOR
 ONE OF THE PRE-FUNCTION AREAS, AND 15 SF PER PERSON FOR
 THE PREFUNCTION LOUNGE. ALTHOUGH LABELED WITH DIFFERENT
 ROOM DESIGNATIONS ("PRE-FUNCTION" VS "PREFUNCTION
 LOUNGE") THEY APPEARS TO BE THE SAME. EITHER REVISE
 PRE-FUNCTION TO HAVE OCCUPANT LOAD OF 1/15 SF OR SEND
 AN EMAIL WITH RATIONALE TO GET THIS RESOLVED PRIOR TO
 RESUBMITTAL. IT IS ACKNOWLEDGED THAT THE DIFFERENCE IN
 OCCUPANT LOAD WILL NOT AFFECT EGRESS, BUT DISCREPANCY
 SHOULD BE CORRECTED OR EXPLAINED.
  
 2. A002, DOOR 1, SEE FBC A 404.2.6, DOORS IN A SERIES,
 AND REVISE PLAN TO SHOW COMPLIANCE.

 4. FBC B 1010.1.10, THE DOUBLE DOORS 151A AND 151B
 INDICATES HARDWARE SET 4, NO PANIC BARS PROPOSED. I WAS
 UNABLE TO LOCATE HARDWARE SET 4; COMPLIANCE NOT CLEAR;
 REVISE PLAN ACCORDINGLY.
  
 5. FBC CHAPTER 10, DOOR 150A IS SHOWN ON THE DEMO PLAN
 AS SWINGING FROM THE MAIN LOBBY/ATRIUM TOWARDS THE
 ASSEMBLY AREA. IT NOW SWINGS THE OTHER DIRECTION, AND
 IS SHOWN AS HAVING AN EGRESS CAPACITY OF 360, OCCUPANT
 LOAD OF 40.
  
 PLEASE REVISE PLAN TO CONFIRM THAT THIS DOOR WAS NOT
 USED FOR EXITING FROM THE LOBBY AND ATRIUM, AS CHANGING
 DOOR SWING NOW MAKES THIS SWING AGAINST EGRESS TRAVEL.
  
 REVISE THE PLAN TO CONTINUE MEANS OF EGRESS SHOWN WHICH
 NOW DIRECTS SOME OCCUPANTS THROUGH THE MAIN LOBBY. IT
 IS NOT CLEAR IF THAT AREA CAN ACCOMMODATE EXITING FOR
 ADDITIONAL OCCUPANTS. TRAVEL DISTANCE FOR THOSE
 OCCUPANTS IS NOT CLEAR AS THE EXIT IS NOT SHOWN ON THE
 LIFE SAFETY PLAN.
  
 6. FBC EB 701.3, THIS STRUCTURE IS LOCATED IN A SPECIAL
 FLOOD HAZARD AREA. PROVIDE CUMULATIVE FIVE YEAR VALUE
 OF IMPROVEMENTS AND VALUE OF STRUCTURE. IT APPEARS THAT
 THE BUILDINGS ARE CONNECTED BY AN ATRIUM, SO IS
 CONSIDERED ONE BUILDING. PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR
 ASSISTANCE.
  
 A COMPLETE REVIEW CANNOT BE DONE UNTIL IT IS DETERMINED
 WHETHER OR NOT THIS IS CONSIDERED A "SUBSTANTIAL
 IMPROVEMENT". OUR ORDINANCE REQUIRES THAT FIVE YEARS OF
 IMPROVEMENTS ARE CONSIDERED.
