 2017 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) SHEET A1.00 INDICATES THE REMOVAL OF THE STOREFRONT
 WALL AND DOOR SYSTEM. THE PRESSURES ARE GIVEN IN VASD
 (ASSUMED), BUT THE WIND DESIGN WHERE THE PRESSURE WAS
 NOT PROVIDED.
  
 2017 FBC-B 1603.1.4 WIND DESIGN DATA.
 THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION RELATED TO WIND LOADS SHALL
 BE SHOWN, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER WIND LOADS GOVERN THE
 DESIGN OF THE LATERAL FORCE-RESISTING SYSTEM OF THE
 STRUCTURE:
  
 1.1. ULTIMATE DESIGN WIND SPEED, VULT, (3-SECOND GUST),
 MILES PER HOUR (KM/HR) AND NOMINAL DESIGN WIND SPEED,
 VASD, AS DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION
 1609.3.1.

 1.3. WIND EXPOSURE. APPLICABLE WIND DIRECTION IF MORE
 THAN ONE WIND EXPOSURE IS UTILIZED. TABLE 1609.7.2.

 RULE 9N-3 NOV. 01/ 2010 (31) SUB-CATEGORY OF PRODUCTS
 OR CONSTRUCTION SYSTEMS THAT WILL REQUIRE PRODUCT
 APPROVALS:
 (31)(A) EXTERIOR DOORS ,MULLIONS.
 (C) PANEL WALLS: STOREFRONTS, MULLIONS.
  
 3) IDENTIFY GLAZING/ MULLIONS. PLEASE IDENTIFY ON THE
 PRODUCT APPROVAL BEFORE SUBMITTING TO DESIGNER OF
 RECORD AND BEFORE SUBMISSION TO THE BUILDING
 DEPARTMENT. FOR ALL PRODUCTS WITH GLAZING, PLEASE
 IDENTIFY THE OPENING WIDTH & HEIGHT, TYPE OF GLAZING,
 MULLION SIZE, LENGTH IF UNREINFORCED OR REINFORCED
 INFORMATION IF REQUIRED, ATTACHMENTS AND ASSOCIATE
 PRESSURES FOR EACH OPENING SIZE. 2017 FBC-B 1405.13.1
 INSTALLATION. WINDOWS AND DOORS SHALL BE INSTALLED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH APPROVED MANUFACTURER?S INSTRUCTIONS.
 FASTENER SIZE AND SPACING SHALL BE PROVIDED IN SUCH
 INSTRUCTIONS AND SHALL BE CALCULATED BASED ON MAXIMUM
 LOADS AND SPACING USED IN THE TESTS.
  
 4) THRESHOLDS 2017 FBC-ACCESS. CODE 404.2.5.
 THRESHOLDS, IF PROVIDED AT DOORWAYS, SHALL BE 1/2 INCH
 HIGH MAXIMUM. RAISED THRESHOLDS AND CHANGES IN LEVEL AT
 DOORWAYS SHALL COMPLY WITH 302 AND 303.
  
 5) THERE IS NO FLOORPLAN SHOWING THE NEW STOREFRONT
 WINDOW WALL AND DOOR LAYOUT. COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION
 404.2.4.1 SWINGING DOORS OF THE ACCESSIBILITY CODE.
  
 2017 FBC-ACCESS CODE 404.2.4.1 SWINGING DOORS AND
 GATES. SWINGING DOORS SHALL HAVE MANEUVERING CLEARANCES
 COMPLYING WITH TABLE 404.2.4.1. 18 INCHES PARALLEL TO
 THE DOORWAY BEYOND THE LATCH SIDE THE DOOR PULLED TO
 YOU.
  
 6) SHEET A100, THE FLOOR PLAN MUST STATE THIS SPACE IS
 BEING TRANSFORMED INTO A SHELL SPACE. 107.2.1.3
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 7) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
 COOPERATION.
  
 A THOROUGH REVIEW OF THE PLANS COULD NOT HAPPEN SINCE
 THERE WAS A GREAT DEFICIENCY IN PLANS AND REQUIRED
 DOCUMENTATION. WITH THE NEXT PLAN REVIEW CYCLE THERE
 MAYBE ADDITIONAL REVIEW COMMENTS BECAUSE OF NEW PLANS
 AND INFORMATION LACKING UNDER THE PRIOR REVIEW.
