 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 THE 2017 FBC. PLEASE NOTE ON DEC. 31 / 2017 THE 2017
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE WERE ADOPTED STATEWIDE.
  
 2) SHEET A1. PLEASE CORRECT THE OCCUPANCY TYPE THIS IS
 NOT A A2 OCCUPANCY, THERE WOULD NEED TO BE A MINIMUM OF
 50 OCCUPANTS IN A RESTAURANT. THE TENANT SPACE IS A
 CHANGE IN USE BUT STILL A MERCANTILE OCCUPANCY. FBC-B
 309.1 MERCANTILE GROUP M OCCUPANCY INCLUDES, AMONG
 OTHERS, THE USE OF A BUILDING OR STRUCTURE OR A PORTION
 THEREOF FOR THE DISPLAY AND SALE OF MERCHANDISE, AND
 INVOLVES STOCKS OF GOODS, WARES OR MERCHANDISE
 INCIDENTAL TO SUCH PURPOSES AND ACCESSIBLE TO THE
 PUBLIC.
  
 3) THE WORK INVOLVED IN THIS CHANGE IN USE WILL REQUIRE
 A BUILDING PERMIT AS WELL AS THE MECHANICAL PERMIT.
 EITHER A BUILDING CONTRACTOR OR GENERAL CONTRACTOR WILL
 BE REQUIRED TO SIGN ONTO A BUILDING PERMIT. F. S.

 4) PLEASE NOTE THE WORK BEING COMPLETED UNDER THIS
 PERMIT AND PERMIT 17030415 (GAS) IS CREATING A CHANGE
 IN USE, A COMMERCIAL KITCHEN AND WILL NEED TO SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE:
  
 2017 FLORIDA EXISTING BUILDING CODE SECTION 1001.2.1
 CHANGE OF USE. ANY WORK UNDERTAKEN IN CONNECTION WITH A
 CHANGE IN USE THAT DOES NOT INVOLVE A CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION OR A CHANGE TO ANOTHER GROUP
 WITHIN AN OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION SHALL CONFORM TO THE
 APPLICABLE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE WORK AS CLASSIFIED IN
 CHAPTER 5 AND TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTIONS 1002
 THROUGH 1011.
  
 1010.1 EXIST. BLDG CODE. 1010.1. WHERE THE OCCUPANCY OF
 AN EXISTING BUILDING OR PART OF AN EXISTING BUILDING IS
 CHANGED SUCH THAT THE NEW OCCUPANCY IS SUBJECT TO
 DIFFERENT PLUMBING FIXTURE REQUIREMENTS IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, PLUMBING, THE NEW
 OCCUPANCY SHALL COMPLY WITH THE INTENT OF THE
 RESPECTIVE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, PLUMBING PROVISIONS.
  
 2017 FBC-B 2902.3.6 PROHIBITED TOILET ROOM LOCATION.
 TOILET ROOMS SHALL NOT OPEN DIRECTLY INTO A ROOM USED
 FOR THE PREPARATION OF FOOD FOR SERVICE TO THE PUBLIC.
  
 5) THE 2ND PROBLEM WITH THE LOCATION WITH THE EXISTING
 LOCATION OF THE RESTROOM IN A COMMERCIAL KITCHEN IS THE
 OCCUPANTS CANNOT GO THROUGH THE KITCHEN TO GAIN ENTRY
 OF THE RESTROOM. 2017 FBC-B 1016.2 EGRESS THROUGH
 INTERVENING SPACES. EGRESS THROUGH INTERVENING SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THIS SECTION. (5.) EGRESS SHALL NOT
 PASS THROUGH KITCHENS, STORAGE ROOMS, CLOSETS OR SPACES
 USED FOR SIMILAR PURPOSES.
  
 6) SHEET M2 SHOWS A NEW ROOF TOP 3 TON A/C UNIT AND A
 NEW ROOF EXHAUST FAN. THE ARCHITECTURAL SHEET NOR THE
 MECHANICAL SHEETS SHOW THE TYPE OF ROOF FRAMING SYSTEM
 IS WITHIN THIS TENANT SPACE NOR HOW THE PENETRATION
 THROUGH THE ROOF DECK WILL BE MADE NOR THE REQUIRED
 EXTRA FRAMING AROUND THE NEW PENETRATION, IF EXTRA
 FRAMING MEMBERS WILL BE REQUIRED, NOR THE TYPE OF ROOF
 CURB, AND THE ANCHORING OF THE ROOF CURB TO THE ROOF
 FRAMING MEMBERS.
  
 LATERAL FORCE-RESISTING SYSTEM. FOR ALL ROOF TOP
 EQUIPMENT, CURBS, FANS OR A/C STANDS, AND OR VENTS,
 DETAILED ATTACHMENT TO THE ROOF FRAMING & DECK AS WELL
 AS FROM THE CURB OR ROOF STAND TO THE EQUIPMENT ABOVE.
  
 2017 FBC-B 1604.4 ANALYSIS. LOAD EFFECTS ON STRUCTURAL
 MEMBERS AND THEIR CONNECTIONS SHALL BE DETERMINED BY
 METHODS OF STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS THAT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT
 EQUILIBRIUM, GENERAL STABILITY, GEOMETRIC COMPATIBILITY
 AND BOTH SHORT- AND LONG-TERM MATERIAL PROPERTIES.
 EVERY STRUCTURE SHALL BE DESIGNED TO RESIST THE
 OVERTURNING EFFECTS CAUSED BY THE LATERAL FORCES
 SPECIFIED IN THIS CHAPTER. SEE SECTION 1609 FOR WIND
 LOADS.
  
 7) PLEASE PROVIDE THE WIND DESIGN CRITERIA FOR THE ROOF
 TOP UNIT.

 WHICH ARE REGULATED BY THE DCA RULE 9N-03 SHALL BE
 REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF
 RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.

 FROM BEING IN THE KITCHEN PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THE NEW
 RESTROOM WILL NEED TO MEET ALL OF THE RESTROOM
 REQUIREMENTS OF THE 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE IN
 CHAPTER 6.
  
 11) PLEASE ALSO BE AWARE THAT YOU WILL NEED TO DECLARE
 COMPLIANCE WITH DISPROPORTIONATE COST OF THE:
  
 2017 ACCESSIBILITY CODE. 202.4.1 DISPROPORTIONATE COST.
 ALTERATIONS MADE TO PROVIDE AN ACCESSIBLE PATH OF

 INSTALLING AMPLIFICATION DEVICES, OR INSTALLING A TEXT
 TELEPHONE (TTY); (IV) COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH RELOCATING
 AN INACCESSIBLE DRINKING FOUNTAIN.
  
 12) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE
 REVISION & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES
 AS NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
