 ADDRESS THE ATTACHED COMMENTS AND RE-SUBMIT
  
 1. APPLICATION FOR THE RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE MUST BE
 MADE PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF A FOUNDATION PERMIT.
 2. SEPERATE PERMIT REQUIRED FOR CABANA.
 3. PROPOSED STRUCTURES ARE IN FLOOD ZONE A WITH A BASE
 FLOOD ELEVATION (BFE) OF 7'0". BASE FLOOD ELEVATIONS
 ARE ESTABLISHED BY THE FLOOD INSURANCE STUDY (FIS) OF
 THE PROPERTY. THE CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH, BY
 ORDINANCE, REQUIRES AND ADDITIONAL TWO FEET OF
 FREEBOARD. THE DESIGN FLOOD ELEVATION (DFE) SHALL BE NO
 LOWER THAN 9' 0".
 4. PROVIDE AN ELEVATION CERTIFICATE FOR BOTH
 STRUCTURES.
 5. VALUE APPEARS LOW FOR THE SCOPE OF WORK.
 6. PLAN PAGE A000 STATES GOVERNING CODE AS 2014 FBC 5TH
 ED. DESIGN SHALL BE BASED ON THE 2017 FBC 6TH ED.
 7. SITE RETAINING WALLS REQUIRED TO RETAIN SITE
 DRAINAGE FROM ADJOINING PROPERTIES. PROVIDE DETAIL OF
 WALLS WITH APPLICATION FOR STRUCUTRE.
  
 A CONSTRUCTION DRAWING ELEVATION CERTIFICATE IS
 REQUIRED AT TIME OF PERMIT APPLICATION.
 NOTE: ALL EQUIPMENT SERVICING THE BUILDINGS ON THIS
 SITE ARE REQUIRED TO BE AT OR ABOVE 9.0 FEET NGVD.
  
 AN UNDER CONSTRUCTION (FORMBOARD) SURVEY WITH FINISHED
 FLOOR ELEVATION IS RECOMMENDED.
  
 A FINISHED CONSTRUCTION ELEVATION CERTIFICATE IS
 REQUIRED AND SHALL BE SUBMITTED FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL
 PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF THE CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY.
  
 THE STATED VALUE APPEARS LOW FOR THE PROPOSED SCOPE OF
 WORK.
  
 YOU MAY PROVIDE A COPY OF THE CONTRACT SIGNED BY THE
 OWNER OR A LIST OF LABOR, MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT
 RENTAL TO VERIFY VALUE.

 109.3 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATIONS. IF, IN THE OPINION OF
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL, THE CLAIMED VALUATION OF
 BUILDING, ALTERATION, STRUCTURE, ELECTRICAL, GAS,
 MECHANICAL OR PLUMBING SYSTEMS APPEARS TO BE
 UNDERESTIMATED ON THE APPLICATION, THE PERMIT SHALL BE
 DENIED, UNLESS THE APPLICANT CAN SHOW DETAILED,
 QUANTITY ESTIMATES, AND/OR BONA FIDE SIGNED CONTRACTS
 (EXCLUDING LAND VALUE) TO MEET THE APPROVAL OF THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL. FOR PERMITTING PURPOSES, VALUATION
 OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE TOTAL REPLACEMENT
 VALUE TO INCLUDE STRUCTURAL, ELECTRIC, PLUMBING,
 MECHANICAL, INTERIOR FINISH, RELATIVE SITE WORK,
 ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES, MARKETING COSTS,
 OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY LAND VALUE.
 VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST PUBLISHED
 DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION
 COST ANALYSIS SERVICES (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.),
 AS PUBLISHED BY INTERNATIONAL CODE CONGRESS.
 FINAL BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION SHALL BE SET BY THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE 2017
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, 6TH EDITION.
  
 PLEASE NOTE THAT SUBMITTAL OF ADDITIONAL AND/OR REVISED
 MATERIALS MAY RESULT IN NEW PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS.
 WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A RESPONSE
 LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE CITY
 RE-SUBMITTAL FORM. PLEASE, ADDITIONALLY, INSERT
 CORRECTED PAGES INTO SUBMITTAL AND LEAVE THE PREVIOUSLY
