 2- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVISE INSULATION INFORMATION
 SHOWN ON PLANS. R-30 BATT INSULATION IS 9-1/2" +/-
 THICK. IT DOESN'T FIT ON ROOF JOIST AND FLOOR JOISTS
 SIZES SHOWN ON PLANS. REVISE AS REQUIRED. NOTE:
 COORDINATE WITH ENERGY CALCULATIONS TO AVOID
 CONFLICTS/DELAYS. SEC. R103.2 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 3- PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
 FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLY FOR TENANT SEPARATION WITH THE

 SEPARATION WALL DETAIL "F" ON SHEET S1A DOESN'T PROVIDE
 SPECIFICATIONS FOR APPROVED HORIZONTAL ASSEMBLY. IT

 SOUND INSULATION MATERIAL:
 A) PROVIDE 2 COPIES OF THE FLAME SPREAD INDEX AND SMOKE
 DEVELOPED INDEX TEST DONE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 84
 OR UL 723 AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 720.1 OF FBC 6TH EDITION
 (2017).
  
 B) PROVIDE 2 COPIES OF THE SOUND TRANSMISSION CLASS
 (STC) TEST DONE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 90 AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 1207.2 OF FBC 6TH EDITION (2017).
  
 C) PROVIDE 2 COPIES OF THE IMPACT INSULATION CLASS
 (IIC) TEST DONE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 492 AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 1207.3 OF FBC 6TH EDITION (2017).
  
 6-DESIGNER OF RECORD TO SPECIFY ROOF TILE FASTENING AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.2.1.2 CITY AMENDMENTS. IF
 SPECIFYING SCREWS, THEN SPECIFY SIZE AND NUMBER OF
 SCREWS. IF SPECIFYING ROOF TILE ADHESIVE, THEN SPECIFY
 PADDY SIZE AND PRODUCT APPROVAL IS REQUIRED. REPEAT
 COMMENT. ENGINEER TO SPECIFY FASTENING. THIS IS NOT BY
 OTHERS.
  
 7- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.001 FOR:
 NOTE: THIS MAY BE SUBMITTED LATER AS DEFERRED
 SUBMITTAL, BUT BEFORE INSTALLATION (NO FEES).
  
 A) FLAT ROOF. AND, CLEARLY MARK WHICH APPROVED ASSEMBLY
 IS GOING TO BE INSTALLED TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 DESIGN PRESSURES OF SEC. 1609 FBC. NOTE: IF THE
 SELECTED ASSEMBLY DOESN'T MEET THE DESIGN PRESSURES FOR
 ALL ROOF ZONES, THEN SIGNED AND SEALED RAS 117
 CALCULATIONS ARE REQUIRED.
  
 B) ROOF TILE.
  
 C) ROOF TILE ADHESIVE IF SPECIFIED BY THE DESIGNER OF
 RECORD. AND SPECIFY PADDY SIZE. SEE ROOF TILE PRODUCT
 APPROVAL FOR LISTED ADHESIVES.
  
 8- DESIGNER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ABOVE PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 9- BASED ON THE MECHANICAL PLANS SUBMITTED, PROVIDE
 DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS SHOWING HOW THE A/C DUCTWORK
 IS GOING TO BE INSTALLED. REMEMBER THAT THERE IS A FIRE
 RATED FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLY SEPARATING THE APT ABOVE.

 NEED PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
 THE SOFFITS FOR A/C WORK.

 REPLACEMENT OF EXTERIOR WOOD STUDS. SPECIFY ALL
 CONNECTORS. SEC. 1609.1 FBC.
  
 11-ROOF FRAMING PLAN ON SHEET S1A:
 A) PROVIDE COMPLETE SECTION/DETAIL AT CANOPY ENTRY FOR
 APT #2 AND APT #3. IT'S NOT CLEAR HOW THE ROOF IS
 SUPPORTED. FRONT ELEVATION CALLS FOR COLUMNS, BUT ROOF
 FRAMING DETAIL DOESN'T SPECIFY ANY. SEC. 1609.1 FBC.
  
 B) LEDGER INFORMATION SHOWN ON THE ROOF FRAMING PLAN
 DOESN'T MATCH LEDGER INFORMATION SHOWN ON SECTION 1 ON
 SAME SHEET. REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY

 12- PROVIDE COMPLETE INFORMATION FOR THE FIRE RATING
 ASSEMBLY BELOW THE STAIRS AND BY THE PANTRY CLOSET ON

 REQUIRED BY THE CODE THREE OR MORE TIMES FOR FAILURE TO
 CORRECT A CODE VIOLATION SPECIFICALLY AND CONTINUOUSLY
 NOTED IN EACH REJECTION, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO,
 EGRESS, FIRE PROTECTION, STRUCTURAL STABILITY, ENERGY,
 ACCESSIBILITY, LIGHTING, VENTILATION, ELECTRICAL,
 MECHANICAL, PLUMBING, AND GAS SYSTEMS, OR OTHER
