 1- PROVIDE ENERGY CALCULATIONS (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED
 BY SEC. 908 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
  
 2- SHEET CVR:
 A) THIS IS NOT A SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE. THIS IS
 MULTIFAMILY BUILDING (R2). REVISE ALL THE INFORMATION
 SHOWN ON THIS SHEET THAT REFERENCE THE SINGLE FAMILY
 RESIDENCE AND ALL CODE SECTIONS REFERENCED. NEED TO
 REFERENCE SECTIONS FROM THE FBC-BUILDING.
 SEC. 310.4 FBC-BUILDING
  
 B) WALL TYPE LEGEND: FIRE RATED WALL "F" DOESN'T MATCH
 FIRE RATED WALL ON SHEET S2. REVISE AS REQUIRED. AND,
 PROVIDE COMPLETE AND CLEAR WALL SECTION THAT MATCHES
 PROPOSED INSTALLATION.
 NOTE: NEED TO PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND SPECS FOR
 ALL WALLS FOR TENANT SEPARATION BETWEEN APT #1 AND APT
 #2. INCLUDING THE BEARING WALL. SEC. 703.1
 FBC-BUILDING. INCLUDING THE FOYER AREA THAT WAS DIVIDED
 TO ALLOW SEPARATE ENTRANCE TO APT ABOVE. COORDINATE
 WITH UL ASSEMBLY U305 SPECIFIED ON SHEET S2.
  
 C) IT IS NOT CLEAR IF THE SECOND FLOOR BALCONY RAILING
 IS GOING TO BE REPLACED OR NOT. SEE 2ND FLOOR
 DEMOLITION PLAN AND 2ND FLOOR PROPOSED PLAN. SEC.
 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS. NOTE: IF RAILING IS GOING TO
 BE REPLACE, THEN PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND
 SPECIFICATIONS.
  
 3- INFORMATION ON BEARING WALLS IS NOT CLEAR AND IS
 INCOMPLETE. CLEARLY IDENTIFY ALL BEARING AND NON
 BEARING WALLS. BEARING WALL TO BE REMOVED AND HOW ARE
 THEY REINFORCED. COORDINATE DEMOLITION PLANS WITH
 PROPOSED PLANS. SEC. 907 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
 NOTE: CLARIFY WHY THE 18"X18" COLUMN DOESN'T ALIGN WITH
 COLUMN ABOVE?
  
 4- CLEARLY IDENTIFY ALL EXTERIOR STRUCTURAL WALLS THAT
 ARE DAMAGED AND PROVIDE COMPLETE STRUCTURAL DETAILS
 IDENTIFYING THE STRUCTURAL FRAMING MEMBERS AND ALL
 CONNECTORS. TYPICAL STRAPPING PLAN ON SHEET S1 IS
 INSUFFICIENT. SEC. 907 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
  
 5- PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR NEW
 COLUMNS SHOWN ON SHEET S2. SPECIFY ALL FRAMING MEMBERS

 B) PROPOSED BEDROOM WINDOWS DON'T COMPLY WITH THE
 EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE SEC. 1030 FBC-BUILDING
 (SEC. 702.5 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING).
  
 C) SECOND FLOOR WINDOWS NEED TO COMPLY WITH THE WINDOW
 CONTROL DEVICES REQUIRED BY SEC. 702.4 FBC-EXISTING
 BUILDING.
  
 D) PROVIDE COMPLETE WALL SECTION FOR NEW WALL AT FOYER
 AREA SEPARATING APT #1 FROM APT ABOVE. SEC. 903.1

 E) PROVIDE COMPLETE OPENING FRAMING DETAIL AND
 SPECIFICATIONS FOR NEW DOOR AT APT ABOVE. SPECIFY ALL

 F) TYPICAL INTERIOR PARTITION DETAIL IS NOT CLEAR. IS

 AND SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 801.3 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 SOUND TRANSMISSION FOR FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLY AND
 TENANT SEPARATION WALLS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 1207
 FBC-BUILDING.
  
 12- DESIGNER OF RECORD TO SPECIFY ROOF TILE FASTENING
 AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.2.1.2 CITY AMENDMENTS. IF
 SPECIFYING SCREWS, THEN SPECIFY SIZE AND NUMBER OF
 SCREWS. IF SPECIFYING ROOF TILE ADHESIVE, THEN SPECIFY
 PADDY SIZE AND PRODUCT APPROVAL IS REQUIRED.
  
 13- FLAT ROOF NOA 15-1020.01 SUBMITTED: CLEARLY MARK
 WHICH APPROVED ASSEMBLY IS GOING TO BE INSTALLED TO
 VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE DESIGN PRESSURES OF SEC.
 1609 FBC-BUILDING. IF THE SELECTED ASSEMBLY DOESN'T
 MEET THE DESIGN PRESSURES FOR ALL ROOF ZONES, THEN
 SIGNED AND SEALED RAS 117 CALCULATIONS ARE REQUIRED.
 RAS 117 CALCULATIONS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE THE FLORIDA
 ENGINEER'S SEAL AND ORIGINAL HANDWRITTEN SIGNATURE,
 COPIES OR OTHER FACSIMILES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. FAC
 61G15 - 23.002 DIGITAL SIGNATURES ARE ONLY ACCEPTABLE
 FOR ELECTRONICALLY TRANSMITTED PLANS AND DOCUMENTS.
  
 14- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.001 FOR:
 A) WINDOW MULLIONS AS SHOWN ON PLANS. AND, CLEARLY MARK
 MULLION SIZE TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE CALCULATED
 DESIGN PRESSURES.
  
 B) ROOF TILE ADHESIVE IF SPECIFIED BY THE DESIGNER OF
 RECORD ON ITEM #12 ABOVE. AND SPECIFY PADDY SIZE. SEE
 ROOF TILE PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR LISTED ADHESIVES.
  
 C) ALL SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS SPECIFIED ON PLANS
 AND DETAILS. PROVIDE ONLY THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL
 COVER PAGE AND PAGE SHOWING THE SPECIFIED CONNECTOR OR
 DESIGN PROFESSIONAL TO LIST THE FLORIDA PRODUCT
 APPROVAL NUMBER NEXT TO EACH SPECIFIED CONNECTOR.
  
 15- DESIGNER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 NOTE:
 ENGINEER OF RECORD TO PROVIDE RESPONSE LETTER
 ADDRESSING EACH COMMENT TO AVOID PLAN REVIEW FEES AS
 REQUIRED BY FLORIDA STATUTE 553.80(2)(B).
