 THE PERMIT IS ISSUED BUT BEFORE INSPECTIONS TO AVOID
 CONFLICTS/DELAYS. REVISION FEES MAY APPLY. CONTRACTOR
 TO ADVICE IF PROVISO OPTION IS PREFERRED AT THIS TIME
 OR IF RE-SUBMITTING REQUIRED INFORMATION BEFORE PERMIT

 1) THE COVERSHEET OF THE ARCHITECTURAL PLANS IS DATED
 12/18/2017 IN THE ARCHITECTURAL SHEETS THERE IS NO
 REFERENCE TO WHAT PLANS THEY WERE DEVELOPED. IN THE
 STRUCTURAL SHEETS, SHEET S13.0.1 UNDER THE HEADING
 STRUCTURAL SPECIFICATIONS / MISCELLANEOUS NOTE # 4
 INDICATES THE APPLICABLE BUILDING CODE: 5TH EDITION
 (2014) FLORIDA BUILDING CODE.
 THE 6TH EDITION (2017) FLORIDA WAS ADOPTED STATEWIDE ON
 DEC. 31/ 2017. PLEASE UPDATE THE PLANS TO THE
 APPLICABLE CODE.
  
 RESPONSE:
 STRUCTURAL SHEET S13.01 WAS NOT UPDATED. STILL
 REFERENCING THE OLD CODE. REVISE AS REQUIRED TO AVOID
 CONFLICTS WITH THE THE REVISED ARCHITECTURAL COVER
 SHEET. NOTE: ARCHITECTURAL COVER SHEET 13.CVR WAS
 UPDATED WITH THE CURRENT CODE IN EFFECT BUT THE
 BUILDING HEIGHT AND AREA INFORMATION IS INCORRECT. THE
 ACTUAL BUILDING AREA IS 2,123.5 S.F. NOT 2,000 S.F.
 AND, THE ALLOWABLE BUILDING AREA FOR TYPE II
 CONSTRUCTION IS 23,000 S.F. NOT 23.00 S.F. PROVIDE
 CORRECT INFORMATION TO AVOID CONFLICTS/DELAYS.

 INSULATION & THE BASE SHEET AS CALCULATED IN COMPLIANCE
 WITH ROOFING APPLICATION STANDARDS RAS 117. CALCULATION
 PREPARED, SIGNED AND
 SEALED BY A FLORIDA REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER OR

 PARAPETS. PRESSURES ARE THE SAME FOR ZONE 2 AND 3
 PLEASE PROVIDE WHY THE NEGATIVE ROOF PRESSURES HAVE NOT
 BEEN INCREASED. THE MONO- SLOPED ROOF DETAIL EVEN SHOWS
 (4) ROOF ZONE 3?S. ASCE 7-10 FIGURE 30.4-5A. PLEASE
 UPDATE PLANS.

 NEGATIVE PRESSURES WERE REVISED, BUT CLARIFY WHY ALL
 THE POSITIVE PRESSURES WERE REDUCED?
  
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 6) BUILDING PROVISO: PRECAST PLANK JOIST SYSTEMS ARE TO
 BE A DEFERRED SUBMITTAL AND TO BE REVIEWED BY THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD, WHEN APPROVED THE ARCHITECTS SHOP
 DRAWING STAMP OF APPROVAL APPLIED AND FORWARDED TO THE
 BUILDING DEPARTMENT.
  
 ACKNOWLEDGED BY ARCHITECT. PROVIDE INFORMATION ON A
 TIMELY FASHION PRIOR TO INSPECTIONS TO AVOID
 CONFLICTS/DELAYS.
