 PLEASE PROVIDE A WRITTEN RESPONSE TO THE FOLLOWING PLAN
 REVIEW COMMENTS:
  
 1. PURSUANT TO SEC. 94-408(F)(2) OF THE CITY'S ZONING
 AND LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, LOW FREESTANDING
 SIGNS SHALL BE LIMITED TO ONE (1) PER BUSINESS
 OCCUPANT. THERE A MULTIPLE FREESTANDING SIGNS EXISTING
 ON THE PROPERTY, SOME OF WHICH HAVE BEEN INSTALLED
 WITHOUT PERMITS. THE ONLY WAY THE PROPOSED SIGN COULD
 BE CONSIDERED WOULD BE IF IT WAS CLASSIFIED AS AN
 ?UNREGULATED SIGN? AND WOULD HAVE TO MEET THE FOLLOWING
 CRITERIA:
  
  SIGN WHICH IS SO LOCATED THAT IT IS NOT VISIBLE BEYOND
 THE BOUNDARIES OF THE LOT OR PARCEL ON WHICH IT IS
 LOCATED OR FROM ANY PUBLIC THOROUGHFARE.
  
 BASED UPON THE PICTURES PROVIDED AND DISCUSSION WITH
 THE PLANNING & ZONING ADMINSTRATOR, IT WAS DETERMINED
 THAT THE SIGN WOULD BE VISIBLE FROM THE PUBLIC
 THOROUGFARE, AND THEREFORE BE CONSIDERED AS A REGULATED
 MONUMENT SIGN. IF VISBILITY OF THE SIGN WERE BLOCKED BY
 A HEDGE OF SUFFICIENT HEIGHT ALONG SUMMIT BOULEVARD,
 THEN IT COULD BE CONSIDERED UNREGULATED, AND THEREFORE
 PERMITTED.
