 1. DESCRIPTION OF WORK SHOWN IS FOR CABINET
 REPLACEMENT. THIS SHOULD BE SHOWN AS A CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY FROM R-1 TO R-2 AND INCLUDE A DESCRIPTION OF
 ALL WORK. FBC 105.3
  
 2. PERMIT VALUE APPEARS TOO LOW. ADJUST ACCORDINGLY.
  
 FBC 109.3 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATIONS. IF, IN THE
 OPINION OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL, THE CLAIMED VALUATION
 OF BUILDING, ALTERATION, STRUCTURE, ELECTRICAL, GAS,
 MECHANICAL OR PLUMBING SYSTEMS APPEARS TO BE
 UNDERESTIMATED ON THE APPLICATION, THE PERMIT SHALL BE
 DENIED, UNLESS THE APPLICANT CAN SHOW DETAILED,
 QUANTITY ESTIMATES, AND/OR BONA FIDE SIGNED CONTRACTS
 (EXCLUDING LAND VALUE) TO MEET THE APPROVAL OF THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL. FOR PERMITTING PURPOSES, VALUATION
 OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE TOTAL REPLACEMENT
 VALUE TO INCLUDE STRUCTURAL, ELECTRIC, PLUMBING,
 MECHANICAL, INTERIOR FINISH, RELATIVE SITE WORK,
 ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES, MARKETING COSTS,
 OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY LAND VALUE.
 VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST PUBLISHED
 DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS SERVICES
 (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.), AS PUBLISHED BY
 INTERNATIONAL CODE CONGRESS.
 FINAL BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION SHALL BE SET BY THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 3. ADDRESSING:
  
 ADJUST THE PLANS TO INCLUDE THE TWO FOLLOWING
 ADDRESSES. SOUTH BUILDING WILL BE 3805 BROADWAY AND THE
 NORTHERN BUILDING SHOULD BE SHOWN AS 3809 BROADWAY.
 THESE ADDRESSES HAVE BEEN UPDATED IN OUR SYSTEM
 ALREADY.
  
 4. EXISTING BUILDING CODE:
  
 THIS PROJECT IS A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY WITHIN A GROUP
 AND SHOULD SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING AREAS OF
 THE EXISTING BUILDING CODE IN SECTION 1012.
  
 1012.1 GENERAL.
  
 THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION SHALL APPLY TO BUILDINGS
 OR PORTIONS THEREOF UNDERGOING A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION. THIS INCLUDES A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION WITHIN A GROUP AS WELL AS A CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION FROM ONE GROUP TO A DIFFERENT
 GROUP. SUCH BUILDINGS SHALL ALSO COMPLY WITH SECTIONS
 1002 THROUGH 1011. THE APPLICATION OF REQUIREMENTS FOR
 THE CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY SHALL BE AS SET FORTH IN
 SECTIONS 1012.1.1 THROUGH
  
 1012.1.4. A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY, AS DEFINED IN SECTION
 202, WITHOUT A CORRESPONDING CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 1001.2.
 SEE ALSO SECTIONS 1012.2 FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS AND
 1012.2.1 FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM.
  
 5. INTERIOR ENVIRONMENT, INTERIOR SPACE DIMENSIONS.
 SEVERAL OF THE ROOMS ARE TOO SMALL OR ARE NOT PROVIDED
 WITH A CLOSET.
  
 FBC 1208.3 ROOM AREA.
  
 EVERY DWELLING UNIT SHALL HAVE NO FEWER THAN ONE ROOM
 THAT SHALL HAVE NOT LESS THAN 120 SQUARE FEET (13.9 M2)
 OF NET FLOOR AREA. OTHER HABITABLE ROOMS SHALL HAVE A
 NET FLOOR AREA OF NOT LESS THAN 70 SQUARE FEET (6.5
 M2).
  
 FBC 1208.4 EFFICIENCY DWELLING UNITS.
  
 AN EFFICIENCY LIVING UNIT SHALL CONFORM TO THE
 REQUIREMENTS OF THE CODE EXCEPT AS MODIFIED HEREIN:
  
 1) THE UNIT SHALL HAVE A LIVING ROOM OF NOT LESS THAN
 220 SQUARE FEET (20.4 M2) OF FLOOR AREA. AN ADDITIONAL
 100 SQUARE FEET (9.3 M2) OF FLOOR AREA SHALL BE
 PROVIDED FOR EACH OCCUPANT OF SUCH UNIT IN EXCESS OF
 TWO.
  
 2) THE UNIT SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH A SEPARATE CLOSET.
  
 3) THE UNIT SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH A KITCHEN SINK,
 COOKING APPLIANCE AND REFRIGERATION FACILITIES, EACH
 HAVING A CLEAR WORKING SPACE OF NOT LESS THAN 30 INCHES
 (762 MM) IN FRONT. LIGHT AND VENTILATION CONFORMING TO
 THIS CODE SHALL BE PROVIDED.
  
 6. SOUND TRANSMISSION. SHOW HOW WALLS WILL COMPLY WITH
 THE FOLLOWING SECTION.
  
 FBC 1207.2 AIR-BORNE SOUND.
  
 WALLS, PARTITIONS AND FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLIES
 SEPARATING DWELLING UNITS FROM EACH OTHER OR FROM
 PUBLIC OR SERVICE AREAS SHALL HAVE A SOUND TRANSMISSION
 CLASS (STC) OF NOT LESS THAN 50 (45 IF FIELD TESTED)
 FOR AIR-BORNE NOISE WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM
 E 90. PENETRATIONS OR OPENINGS IN CONSTRUCTION
 ASSEMBLIES FOR PIPING; ELECTRICAL DEVICES; RECESSED
 CABINETS; BATHTUBS; SOFFITS; OR HEATING, VENTILATING OR
 EXHAUST DUCTS SHALL BE SEALED, LINED, INSULATED OR
 OTHERWISE TREATED TO MAINTAIN THE REQUIRED RATINGS.
 THIS REQUIREMENT SHALL NOT APPLY TO DWELLING UNIT
 ENTRANCE DOORS; HOWEVER, SUCH DOORS SHALL BE TIGHT
 FITTING TO THE FRAME AND SILL.
  
 7. PROVIDE THE USE OF THE UTILITY ROOM AND SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH FBC 509.4 SEPARATION AND PROTECTION.
 THE INCIDENTAL USES LISTED IN TABLE 509 SHALL BE
 SEPARATED FROM THE REMAINDER OF THE BUILDING OR
 EQUIPPED WITH AN AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEM, OR BOTH,
 IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF TABLE 508.4.
  
 8. IMPACT FEE: BEFORE A PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT CAN BE
 ISSUED, IMPACT FEES, REQUIRED BY PALM BEACH COUNTY,
 SHALL BE PAID. UPON FINAL APPROVAL OF PLANS, ONE SET OF
 PLANS SHALL BE SIGNED OUT AND SUBMITTED TO PALM BEACH
 COUNTY FOR AN IMPACT FEE REVIEW. THE PLANS WITH THE
 IMPACT FEE STAMP AND A COPY OF THE PAID RECEIPT MUST BE
 RETURNED TO THE CITY BUILDING DEPARTMENT BEFORE THE
 BUILDING PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED. FOR INFORMATION CALL
 PALM BEACH COUNTY IMPACT FEES AT (561) 233-5025.
  
 9. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUIRED.
  
 A) PROVIDE ELEVATIONS FOR THE KITCHEN AREA.
  
 B) SHOW LOCATIONS OF NEW WALLS. ARE THE WALLS AROUND
 THE KITCHENS NEW? IF SO PROVIDE WALL DETAILS.
  
 C) PROVIDE DETAIL FOR BATHROOM SHOWERS AND INCLUDE
 FRAMING SPACING.
  
 D) PARKING LOT REPAVING OR STRIPING WILL REQUIRE A
 SEPARATE PERMIT.
  
 E) PAGE A.3 SUBMITTED IS NOT LEGIBLE.

 READY FOR PERMIT ISSUANCE. OLD SHEETS ARE TO BE
 RETAINED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION PACKAGE (SEPARATE
 FROM THE PERMIT SETS) AND MARKED *OLD SHEETS* OR
 *VOID*. PLEASE KEEP BOTH SETS OF OLD VOIDED SHEETS IN
 THE PERMIT PACKAGE.
  
 A RESPONSE LETTER INDICATING HOW EACH ITEM WAS
